Sun in Capricorn, into Aquarius Sunday!
Mercury in Capricorn (weakened).
Venus in Sagittarius (neutral).
Mars in Aries (strong).
Jupiter in Sagittarius (strong).
Saturn in Capricorn until March 2020 (rulership).
Uranus in Aries (strong).

The main astro news right now, is the Sun’s current conjunction with the South Node at 26 Capricorn. It will be there through the weekend. The South Node symbolizes the past, and everything you’ve already mastered. Since all of this is happening in the Earth sign of Capricorn, it will crystalize (earth) your vision (the Sun) of things you’ve mastered (South Node). It also represents Capricorn-type issues being diminished, since the past is disappearing behind us at every moment. Capricorn rules government, structures, old money and regulation, and it’s interesting that the government is currently going through it’s longest shut down in history.
On a personal level, we are experiencing our pasts and perhaps clinging to old ways of operating that no longer serve us. Ambition, control, discipline, responsibility are in a state of deterioration for the next year or so. Instead, Cancerian values are highlighted; sensitivity, nostalgia, sweetness, indulgence, motherhood and nurturing. Old ways are leaving us, and new ways are being introduced.
If you want a personalized report on your personal North Node placement, feel free to book me for a phone reading. We are also between two eclipses, a crossroads, and the appearance of a new portal for us to pass through. This time between two eclipses puts us in a place between the worlds. Whatever began for us in February 2017 is being completed this month. The Full Moon, Lunar eclipse in Leo is this Sunday.

THURSDAY, Jan. 17th: Gemini Moon, which brings socializing, but Mercury is in Capricorn which brings caution. Make sure you have all the facts before negotiating or communicating anything. Good time for real, solid commitments.

FRIDAY, Jan. 18th: Moon in Gemini, and 8:50am Venus (in Sag) trine Mars (in Aries). This aspect brings passion, joy and romance. The masculine and feminine find balance.
11.59am: Mercury conjunct Pluto. Excellent day for writers, self expression, therapy and research. We get to the heart of things. Be gentle if airing grievances today.
5:30pm: Sun square Uranus. We might see different paths to achieving what we want, or there could be a shake up in our souls and vision. Squares demand work for results.

SATURDAY, Jan. 19th: Moon in Cancer. oooo be gentle. This is a sensitive sign and we are two days away from an eclipse. Cook for your loved one today, or do some chore you’ve been promising to do forever. Clean the house and indulge. Lower the intensity.

SUNDAY, Jan. 20th: Moon in Cancer, and Sun into Aquarius at 1:00am Pacific. With the Sun in Capricorn, we’ve become clear about what we want to accomplish this year, gotten organized, and reached a new level of commitment. We’ve established a new, solid foundation, and the discipline to make our ambitions a reality. With the Sun’s entrance into Aquarius, the mood lightens and we look to the future.
8:30pm: Venus square Neptune. Tensions and a need to overcome illusions about love. Instead of indulging in escapism, try to embrace your spiritual strength and connection. And then go make some art.
9:15pm: Full moon eclipse at 0 degrees Leo. Wherever this eclipse falls in your chart opens up a doorway to a new path. The 0 degree of any sign is one of the strongest expressions of it’s nature. Pay attention what occurs in your life this weekend and Monday… there could be some flashes of your future.

MONDAY, Jan. 21st: Moon in Leo. Fallout from the huge eclipse yesterday continues.
3:15am: Mars square Saturn. This is a tough aspect, since both of these planets are tough-minded. Squares bring tension, but illuminate work to be done to overcome the block. Mars wants to charge ahead without thinking, and Saturn is cautious. A balance needs to be enacted here.

TUESDAY, Jan. 22nd: Moon in Leo. Today we begin the clean up from our wild weekend.
4:30am Pacific Venus conjunct Jupiter. One of the happiest, luckiest, most romantic of yearly aspects between these two luminaries. Take some time to smell the roses today. Accept party invites and hang around people you enjoy.

WEDNESDAY, Jan. 23rd: Moon in Virgo. We are back into organizing our lives, and taking action on our procrastination.
Aries and Aries Rising — Identity, the self, creativity, children
Taurus and Taurus Rising — Home, family, living situation, roots, emotional needs
Gemini and Gemini Rising — The voice, the mind, learning, education, communication, travel, movement
Cancer and Cancer Rising — Money, income, what you own, material needs, spending, resources, value
Leo and Leo Rising — The self, new beginnings, moving forward, taking the lead
Virgo and Virgo Rising — The end of a journey, rest, retreat, recuperation, letting go, spirituality
Libra and Libra Rising — Friendships, community, belonging, social network, groups
Scorpio and Scorpio Rising — Career, responsibilities, professional life, status, direction
Sagittarius and Sagittarius Rising — Education, foreign travel, publishing, worldview, beliefs, law, philosophy
Capricorn and Capricorn Rising — The deep self, deep emotions, facing fears, the psyche, transformation, finance, debt, wealth
Aquarius and Aquarius Rising — Relationships, other people, negotiation, finding balance, socialization
Pisces and Pisces Rising — Health, wellness, taking care of the body, organization, projects, daily life, schedule

Week of January 7th

cap1New Moon in Capricorn last Saturday.
Mercury in Capricorn (weakened).
Venus in Sagittarius (neutral).
Mars in Aries (strong).
Jupiter in Sagittarius (strong).
Saturn in Capricorn until March 2020 (rulership).
Uranus now Direct in Aries (strong).

The New Moon Eclipse last Saturday activated the South Node (the past). This represents personal gifts in our lives that we have already mastered. The North Node is our nature, or obvious personality, and where we have natural talent. With this New Moon, the corner of your chart containing Capricorn will be going through a change. A new door will open, influenced by the house placement and any aspects.

Saturn (reality) and Pluto (the soul’s evolution) in Capricorn are going to effect the South Node (the past) during the eclipses this year. Saturn, and Capricorn, are about mastery and responsibility. With the South Node there, we will be tested to see if we have truly mastered the lessons of our pasts, or we will be tested with the same old situations until we are done.
Where do you want to be by the time Saturn leaves Capricorn?

Mercury isn’t thrilled with being in Capricorn. Mercury wants to be zing-y, but Capricorn is cautious and sure-footed. Communication is slowing down for a few weeks.

Mars has gone into his rulership in Aries (finally!! Yay!!), after months of going backwards and slogging through Pisces. Our plans are now in direct, confident motion. This happened on New Year’s Day too, so the fresh, new Mars energy is invigorating 2019 in general 🙂

MONDAY, January 7th: Moon in Aquarius. Focus is on groups, humanitarian ideals and teamwork. Uranus is still stationing (standing still) in Aries, so there could be unexpected events or revelations coming from left field. Listen for new ideas and revelations from your inner voice.
Uranus stationary direct in late Aries can bring unexpected shocks, liberating surprises, fresh vision and new ways to utilize technology. Independence, spontaneity and a break from routine are common themes. Where can you bring more freedom into your life? Do something different.
Venus enters Sagittarius during Monday’s pre-dawn hours, bringing faith, luck, truth and exploration to the arena of Love. We immediately feel more optimistic, sociable and generous in the areas of art and romance.

TUESDAY, January 8th: Moon in Aquarius. Mercury squares Mars at 2:00am, but influences the day. Stay away from confronting, debating or negotiating with anyone today. It’s a good day for writing or getting organized though.

WEDNESDAY, January 9th: Pisces Moon. Daydream and fantasize today. Facts will slip through your fingers. Today we survive using our intuition. Seek solitude, quiet, healing and music.

THURSDAY, Jan. 10th: Pisces Moon. Quiet day. Meditate, daydream, create visions and art.

FRIDAY, Jan. 11th: Moon void-of-course in Pisces all day. Don’t commit to or sign anything. A day of relaxation. Sun conjunct Pluto helps you update your life vision. The will to power or to defend against it can quickly turn violent. Avoid arguments. Sexual preoccupation and obsession is possible, as is suspicion and paranoia. Fun can be had by exploring the psyche sexually and otherwise for catharsis. What stands in your way right now? What outdated attitudes and perspectives can you release?

SATURDAY, Jan. 12th: Moon in Aries (meeting up with Mars). You’ll probably feel a lot of energy, drive and excitement today! Make good use of it, but avoid headstrong behavior.

Week of November 19th

renoir002

–  “Dance in the country” by Pierre-Auguste Renoir

Nov. 15th: Mars in Pisces.
Nov. 16th: Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius, and Venus Direct in Libra.

Monday, Nov. 19th: Moon in Aries, Sun in Scorpio. There’s potential for headstrong behavior today. If it’s hard to gain traction on a project, focus instead on clarifying your vision. Moon/Sun are in Mars-ruled signs, but Mars itself is in Pisces. Mars doesn’t like slogging around in Pisces. Avoid being passive-aggressive when you don’t get your way. Notice if you’re lost in fantasies, guilt trips, gossiping or grudges, and try to be present with unconscious motivations. The desire to escape your life through drinking, drugs, sugar or shopping is a common theme this week.

Tuesday, Nov. 20th: Moon into Taurus at 3:43pm Pacific, Sun in Scorpio. Moon in Taurus (exalted) helps everybody calm down. Enjoy nature and sensual delights today, but avoid intensity in relationships.

Wednesday, Nov. 21st: Moon in Taurus, Sun in Scorpio. Another nature/food day! Excellent date night, or to do anything creative and artistic. Mars and Jupiter will both be amplifying the Full Moon in Gemini tomorrow, but you can feel it now.

Thursday, Nov. 22nd: Moon void all day in Taurus (8:10pm into Gemini).
FULL MOON at 9:39pm. Sun into Sagittarius. THANKSGIVING.
With the Full Moon today and Neptune stationing Direct Saturday, try not to drink too much. Watch a movie or play board games to cool down family tensions. Also, follow traditions today – don’t do anything risky or spontaneous.

Friday, Nov. 23rd: Full Moon in Gemini, Sun in Sagittarius. Should be a chatty and sociable day.

Saturday, Nov. 24th: Moon in Gemini; Neptune Direct in Pisces 5:08pm. When Neptune is stationing Direct, things are not what they appear to be. Try to keep your feet on the ground today. Huge spiritual breakthroughs and revelations are possible.

The thing to remember with Mercury Retrograde is to slow down a little bit. It’s never a good idea to lie or be covert in your actions, but it’s really something to avoid right now.  Don’t conceal anything.

Early/middle November is a powerful time. When the Sun is in Scorpio we are in the Underworld, the spirit world is close and the invisibles are active. The Scorpio Sun is sacred to the dark goddess Hecate, who stands at the crossroads with her torches, scissors and three black hounds; she helps you release your old life. She is the Goddess of Witchcraft, Night, Magick, Dogs and herbalism. She protects people on the fringes – those who rebel against societies norms and follow their own drum beat. She will help you see the truth, which can be jarring but liberating. She is known as Phosphorus, the Torch Bearer and Venus as the Morning Star. Inner seeing is key. Your inner navigation system is more accurate than what’s on the screen.

Wearing Black

bb

My EP from 2005. This picture is from our photo shoot in the Castro in 2002. Chuck Butter and Liz Rose

Black is almost all I wear, honestly. I’ve often wondered why this is the case. Most of my friends wear nothing but black. What’s going on? I like what this article has to say:

“Colors excite our minds in various ways, and how we react to some of them can tell a lot regarding our personalities.

One study states that black is seen as ‘serious’ and ‘reliable,’ which means confident:

colors

The study states: “Black is Best Most of the Time.”
“Throughout all our survey, black came first or second in most “good” traits (for example confidence, intelligence and sexiness) and barely figured in the “bad” traits (arrogance). It wasn’t a particularly good performer in the “generosity” scale, however, coming second to last after brown, but it’s hard to imagine is being any other way. Try getting your kid to sit on the knee of a black-clad Santa.

Benevolent nocturnal visitations aside, black is the colour to wear when you’re trying to impress, reassure or woo. There’s a certain trustworthiness about it on a person that would make you hand over your life savings and thank them for the privilege.”

More from Maria Hakki:

“Black is generally an indication of “seriousness” and reliability”, so it stands at the top of the list of colors that both sexes find beautiful.

Why?

The answer is simple. Confidence. Almost half of the women and 64% of the men participating in the study think that black emits self-sufficiency. It is the most beautiful, bold, confidence-boosting and calming color that exists.

Those who wear all black are also usually very sensitive, a bit unstable, and want to draw attention on who they are and what they are trying to achieve in life, rather than on their appearance. Another study stemming from color psychology, says that people who love black often have a desire to reclaim their power.

Johnny Cash said: “I wore black because I liked it. I still do, and wearing it still means something to me. It’s still my symbol of rebellion – against a stagnant status quo, against our hypocritical houses of God, against people whose minds are closed to others’ ideas.”

Virgo New Moon

27858229_1795667403790793_5078408995203136290_n
New Moon at 17 Virgo:  Sunday, September 9th at 11:01am Pacific.

Virgo, the Virgin, is an Earth sign ruled by Mercury. We just came out of a Mercury retrograde, so things are moving forward again after a retrograde summer of delay and introspection.

Many of the planets are in great places right now i.e. in their rulership or exaltation.

Mercury is exalted in Virgo.
Venus in her rulership in Libra.
Mars just went direct; exalted in Capricorn.
Saturn is direct in it’s rulership of Capricorn.

That’s a lot of earthy energy in the skies.

The element Earth is about being practical and manifesting things. With Neptune (the planet of dreams) in it’s natural home of Pisces, we have a wonderful opportunity to turn our dreams into realities. You have to make it real though, and Virgo helps us look at our organization and habits. What is it you want to bring into your life? Are you organized and spending time each day on achieving it?

Virgo is self improvement, details, analysis, planning, perfection and service. We make a practical plan of action to manifest the huge ideas spawned this summer with the Leo sun. Virgo is pure in nature (the Virgin), and is symbolized by a single woman standing alone on her own two feet. Such a powerful image for women today. She is whole unto herself, independent, and can make decisions that actualize her potential.

Virgo integrates; bring the parts together into a whole – but can also be a harsh self critic with the constant striving for perfection. We need to integrate gentleness, self love, and allowing ourselves and others to be imperfect while we walk out practical path of manifestation.

The main thing is to face the reality of your life. If you’re able to do that you can accomplish anything, because the rules of this planet are based in physical reality. Grasping onto fantasies keeps our egos in charge – feeling that we can accomplish things with no effort. We have a spiritual need as humans to surrender our egos and find meaning.

…so see where you’re headed
…do the Work to make your reality better
…take responsibility for how you’ve lived up until now
…start TODAY!

Full Moon in Libra

a33d23dc127d0dc7b02ff9eb9a8ed4e7

We’re still under the effect of Saturday’s romantic full moon in Libra. Anything started last October 2017 is reaching a culmination this week. The foundations of all our partnerships are up for review, and we are seeing if they have the inherent stability to last through the Spring.

But the strongest vibe is coming from the Saturn – Mars conjunction in Capricorn occurring today. This happens every two years – but this is the first time it’s happened in the sign of Capricorn for several decades. These two drive our ambitions and fan the fires of hard work. This conjunction today inspires us to a begin a new story for our lives. Where do you need to work harder? It’s a new start where we can create the discipline and drive to reach a new level of achievement. Today we get real and TAKE COMMAND.

Mars and Saturn together want us to make something of ourselves. Get real, bust your illusions and explore your limits.

From Ronnie Pontiac:

“Monday Mars conjunct Saturn is exact and quite strong all week. This can be a very frustrating and irritating aspect. Limitations, the past, older folks, authority figures, scarcity and the other troop of Saturn themes can cause anger, exhaustion, criticism, depression and pessimism. Better to use this energy for hard work, for refining goals, for learning things that can improve your activities.

The Mercury retrograde and Saturn themes continue on Wednesday as Mercury square Mars is exact and Thursday about an hour and a half after midnight when Mercury square Saturn is exact. Both of these aspects can make this a quarrelsome week. Resist the urge to argue about things that you can’t change. Try not to be sharp with others because you’re bugged by some problem you can’t yet solve. These are good aspects for editing , for learning, and for teaching, but you may have to drag yourself up each step at first.

Saturday Venus trine Saturn is exact a wonderful aspect for art and romance but in a restrained, calm way. Learn from beauty. Let harmony inspire you to organize your life. Set boundaries in relationships. Meditation can provide pleasant experiences. A good time for exercise and wholesome nutrition on all levels.

Next Sunday the dead of the moon begins and with Mercury still retrograde it’s not a good time for starting new ventures. Use this week to get some rest, you’ll be needing energy for April.

April 14 Jupiter sextile Pluto and Mars sextile Neptune are exact, war and hostility can expand rapidly but so can opportunity and optimism. April 15 Mercury turns direct. April 17 Saturn is stationary retrograde giving the month a heavy Saturn flavor. Keep it simple. Learn well. Get extra rest. April 18th sun conjunct Uranus is exact providing some surprises and excitement, hopefully greater freedom as well, and Chiron leaves Pisces to enter Aries (see my most recent astrological note on my profile for more about that). April 22 on Earth Day Pluto turns stationary retrograde. This promises to be a very impactful Earth Day, power will be displayed.

With Saturn and Pluto so influential this month meditation is your friend. Current events are going to become even more exhausting and frustrating. As individuals we’ll be facing the hard lessons of Saturn and the painful healing that Pluto brings. For best results with Saturn streamline, be frugal with energy and resources, study the facts, accept weakness and strengthen it with practice, know your limitations. For best results with Pluto look for areas requiring repair and reform, look for the common good, surrender what cannot belong to your future.”

Saturn in Capricorn

cap1New Moon in Capricorn: 6:17pm Pacific on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018.

This is one of the most productive weeks of the last few years. Anyone feeling super focused, efficient and less tolerant of immaturity since December? That’s when Saturn returned home to the craggy mountainsides of Capricorn. It hasn’t been home in 30 years. What was going on in your life 30 years ago?

The skies are heavily weighted towards Capricorn these days. There are FIVE planets picking their way through Capricorn right now – six if you count Lilith and I ALWAYS count Lilith <3.

But the main event happens this Tuesday with the New Moon in Capricorn. We will experience a rebirth in our determination, ambition and grit – so decide which direction you want to point yourself 🙂

You are likely to feel highly productive, serious and functional. At the same time feeling intolerant of things you used to put up with – like bad relationship dynamics and situations where your contribution and authority were dismissed. Your denial of facts and reality has been blown away and you take yourself more seriously nowadays… down to your bones. The structure of your life will go through a giant overhaul in the next couple of years, and it will be for the better.

Winter Solstice 2017

Osman Taner Küçükgenç

“Lucid Dream” by Osman Taner Küçükgenç

Saturn into Capricorn: Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 7:49pm Pacific.
Sun into Capricorn: Thursday, Dec. 21 at 7:28am Pacific.
Mercury Direct in Sagittarius: Friday, Dec. 22 at 5:51pm.
Venus into Capricorn: Sunday, Dec. 24th at 9:26pm

Happy Winter Solstice!! Tonight is the longest night of the year. Tomorrow the Sun is reborn and the days start to grow longer. It’s a good night to clarify priorities for next year, feast with friends and jump over bonfires.

Saturn moving into Capricorn on Tuesday is the big news. We have wrapped up two years of defining, committing to and crystalizing our truth and philosophy in the sign of Sagittarius. I personally began a new path of deep, spiritual study, but this can manifest in your life differently. What’s been going on with the foundation of your life over the last couple of years?

Now Saturn moves into Capricorn, which is the sign of it’s rulership. This means the energies of the planet are free to fully express themselves and manifest their core qualities. Saturn is energetically heavy; it rules responsibility, maturity, your boss, foundation, structure, teeth and bone, wisdom, reality, time, your dad, achievement, your knees, career… and of course marijuana. Wherever you have Capricorn in your chart is the House where you will feel the strongest effects. If you’d like to schedule a 15 minute phone reading with me, you can do that here.

Meanwhile, here’s what Austin Coppock wrote earlier this week:

“Thus Saturn’s entrance into Capricorn in December of 2017 begins a period which is, quite literally, a gamechanger. The changes which take place during the next 5 years are naturally divided into two steps — the Capricorn portion coincides with the destruction of the old rules, the Aquarius portion with the design of the new.

Saturn and Capricorn
Before going further into the various themes which Saturn’s time in Capricorn entails, it behooves us to consider the nature of both Capricorn and Saturn.

Saturn is the slowest and furthest planet visible to the naked eye. It takes approximately 29.5 years to do one circuit of the zodiac. Just as Saturn is the limit of the visible solar system, Saturn is concerned with boundaries and borders. A wall both encloses and excludes, separating one space from another and limiting interaction between the two. There is thus a strong architectural element to Saturn which extends to all constructed systems, including human hierarchies and institutions. Saturn’s position in a natal chart yields information about how well a person does with structure, as well as how they react to, and wield, authority.

Being so slow, Saturn is also more concerned with time than the other planets. Saturn highlights the way it changes things, and separates the enduring from the fleeting. For living beings, time always leads to death, another fundamental Saturn theme. Relationships with the past and the dead are thus well within the Saturnian sphere. Saturn’s slow progression also illustrates the laws of cause and effect — how actions, over time, create reality.

Saturn is the Greater Malefic in astrology, as it brings deprivation, fear, excessive cold, brittle-ness, depression, confinement and exclusion. Yet Saturn also teaches the virtues of patience, discipline, endurance and duty, and shows us how to maintain glacial calm in even the worst conditions.

Capricorn
Capricorn, represented by the Goat, or Sea-Goat, is an Earth sign, meaning that it is primarily concerned with the concrete layers of reality. Earth signs prefer facts to speculations, a bird in hand over two in the bush.

Capricorn is of the Cardinal mode, linking it to initiation and creation — the beginning phase of story-arcs. It is thus the sign where the Earth is reshaped in accord with intention. Mud becomes brick, and bricks become houses. The wet clay, patterned with intention, becomes sculpture. Capricorn’s essential dynamic is thus the imposition of pattern onto substance in conformity with will.

This projection of design onto the materia of the real is in perfect accord with Saturn’s architectural intentions. It is thus no surprise that Capricorn is considered to be ruled by the leaden planet. For here, Saturn expresses himself in an unmitigated, text-book manner, especially as concerns the planet’s heavier and more manifest significations. In Capricorn, Saturn wears no disguise, but presents himself in an archetypal fashion. He is Father Time, the Grim Reaper, the Grand Architect, and the Old Teacher.
And Pluto, Too!

One of the more important factors to consider when differentiating this installment of Saturn in Capricorn from previous instances, is Pluto. Pluto will be in Capricorn the entire time that Saturn is. The two have one exact conjunction, scheduled for January 12th, 2020. Even though they are only precisely aligned on that one day, their copresence will shape the entirety of Saturn’s time in the Goat pasture.

Pluto will serve to further complicate and intensify already potent Saturnian themes. Their copresence emphasizes what has gotten lost in the underworld and needs to be rescued. Contrarily, it also points to badly aging patterns which desperately need to be read their last rites. Saturn and Pluto’s time together also specifically targets the United States, as this is Pluto’s return to the same place it was when the US was founded. Though fascinating, this particular point is beyond the scope of an already sizable article, and best dealt with in a space all its own. Look for that down the line.”

Astro Report for mid October

angels

The Full Moon in Aries last Thursday is now behind us, and it was one of the more challenging moons we’ve faced in a long time. Uranus (sudden changes) on the Full Moon, squaring Mars (aggression) and Venus (relationships) created a tense and chaotic atmosphere in many areas of our lives. I’m sure many of us are feeling exhausted and bewildered from the sudden events. Last week illuminated our compatibilities and differences, as well as the road  to creating an authentic harmony.

This week starts with more tension with Mercury and the Sun squaring Pluto. Avoid conflicts and social squabbles and instead focus on regeneration and what’s most important. These are the best ways to use Pluto’s cathartic energy! This planet brings up toxic thoughts from under the surface that need to be purged and healed. You can help the process by focusing on your goals. Remain peaceful and avoid angry situations or people.

Jupiter moves from Libra to Scorpio on Tuesday. This planet expands all it touches, and the energy shifts from relationships and art to sex, power struggles and the unearthing of secrets. Much more on this later! Let changes unfold instead of forcing solutions.

As always, try to keep the focus on improving your own life conditions rather than imposing your will on others. Practicing gratitude, getting a good night’s sleep, having some good food or a chat with a trusted friend are the best things for us in October.

Astro Weather

Happy Labor Day everyone! Good news, we are starting September off right with two planets resuming forward motion 🙂

Mars and Mercury are doing an odd dance right now. Mercury (in Retrograde) is barreling towards Mars (Direct) in the last degrees of Leo. Remember the eclipse a couple weeks ago?

The American eclipse on August 21st occurred at 28 degrees Leo. Mars will be ON that degree tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 2nd! This transit inspires us to put our eclipse insights into motion and TAKE ACTION! We also have a Mars/Uranus trine (positive aspect) tomorrow! Expect the unexpected… revelations abound and the desire to be free and independent will reach a fever pitch.

Next week, Mars and Mercury will “cross” each other in the night sky causing a moving conjunction AT 29 degrees Leo. If that wasn’t enough (and it really is), Mercury is going Direct on Tuesday (Sept. 5th) at… you guessed it… 28 degrees Leo!!

Mercury (mind and communication) will be united with Mars (action and vitality) and you can finally move mountains in the right direction. Creativity, assertiveness and expression will be easy to access. This is an amazing event, and really beautiful. Astrology never ceases to amaze me.

Saturn turned Direct at 21 Sagittarius on Friday, August 25th at five in the morning. It’s the planet of responsibility, discipline and reality and can feel HEAVY. When Saturn is retrograde, things appear less stable in our personal lives and society at large. Thankfully we are now moving Direct, and issues will begin to get back on course. If you haven’t made progress on a project or goal, there’s steady movement now. Saturn in Sagittarius asks us to recommit to our Truth, Beliefs and Goals, and have discipline in our day to day activities.

The August 21st eclipse will be rolling out and affecting us for the next six months. Since it occurred in Leo, so we can look for a rebirth or change regarding our self expression, status, and identity. Art, clothes, music, leadership and public speaking are highlighted. Did you get any insights on your life?

Everyone will be impacted by August’s eclipse in different ways. If you’re interested in how it will affect you, set up a reading with me 🙂 I can give you a huge snapshot of your life story in a 15 minute phone reading.
