First off, there’s the last vestiges of the Saturn-Uranus square, which creates big drama between the traditional and progressive sides of our society. It was a catalyst for the seismic shifts in 2021 and 2022. Perhaps we will notice some of these themes coming up this week.
Wednesday, January 18th: Mercury turns direct at 8 Capricorn
Friday, January 20th: Sun enters Aquarius.
Saturday, January 21st: New Moon at 1°32 Aquarius – at 12:53 pm PT
Sunday, January 22nd: Lunar New Year of the Water Rabbit. This will be a much calmer year, but try to get chores and debts done by Sunday. Uranus directat 14 Taurus. It awakens energies from 2021/2022, plus the eclipse energies from last year. Eclipses activate a change in direction, plus the the arrival and the exit of people in our lives. It’s part of larger story about reinvention as well as evolving our relationship with money, stability, security, and fertility.

Autumn has arrived, the veil between the worlds is getting thinner, and the darkness approaches. We have a transformative week before us. We are currently in the darkest phase of the monthly moon cycle, preparing for the New Moon in Libra on Wednesday. Lots of old feelings and issues could be coming up, so we can release them. Rest and give yourself time to reflect on how you’d like the upcoming Moon cycle to go. Dark of the Moon begins on Wednesday this week, so just take it easy and rest. This is a week of wrapping things up and finishing projects, so we can prepare for the rebirth of the New Moon. The Moon is waning until Thursday, June 10th, when we have a New Moon in Gemini.
The Sun in Gemini brings our attention to our social circle, Mars in Cancer directs our attention to our homes and personal world, and Venus moving into Cancer delights in the home, family, and nostagia. Since it’s a waning Moon this week, your energies are best used for purging old belongings, wrapping up loose ends, paying off debts and clearing the clutter. Update your life and make room for the wonderful energies flowing towards you.
Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, just went retrograde on Saturday. For the next three weeks we will go back over already covered ground. We are reveiwing our thinking, close relationships, and intellectual adventures. Along with this, we are in eclipse season. There was a Full Moon eclipse in Sagittarius last week, and next week, June 10th, brings us a New Moon solar eclipse. It’s a powerful time of change.
Monday, May 31st: Moon in Aquarius, and Mars trine Neptune in the middle of the night. This is a great combination of energies to start off the week. The Aquarian influence makes us focused, friendly, but also resolute. The Mars trine Neptune aspect stirs up our intuition and creativity, allowing us to go full tilt into self expression, and communication with higher forces.
Tuesday, June 1st: Moon in Pisces conjuncts Neptune. Another fluffy Neptune day. It’s all gut instincts today, so practice trusting them. Everything cheers up in the evening with the Moon conjunct Jupiter. Your horizons are expanded!
Wednesday, June 2nd: Moon in Pisces, and Venus into Cancer in the early morning. This combination brings out emotions, music and creativity. Embrace solitude. Take time for yourself and focus on your spiritual practice. Moon sextile Uranus in the afternoon could bring some surprises.
Thursday, June 3rd: Moon in Aries and seven mostly positive aspects, all leading up to Venus trine Jupiter at 4:33pm Pacific. This is the highlight of the week! Such a beautiful aspect. Neptune is a higher vibration of Venus, and the two combining in a lovely trine brings a positive expansion to all of our relationships, deep, spiritual connections with other people, and transformative creativity. If you want to channel the divine into your art, you will be able to mainline heaven today. Moon trine Mars today can make us industrious.
Friday, June 4th: Moon in Aries. The Moon makes two lovely sextiles today with Saturn and the Sun, bringing alignment to our work and inner drives.
Saturday, June 5th: Moon in Aries, going void-of-course at 3:47pm for the rest of the day. Watch out for headstrong behavior and avoid risk-taking. There’s tension today with three squares, and the explosive Pluto opposing Mars. Yikes. Watch out for angry people. If you’re in a disagreement with someone, try to stall until next week to resolve issues.
Sunday, June 6th: Moon in Taurus forms two lovely sextiles – one with Jupiter and one with Venus. This is a continuation of the wonderful, loving, artistic vibes of Thursday, except with the Moon in Taurus (exalted), we look for ways to tangibly manifest our inspirations from the last week. With Moon in Taurus, get out into nature.
CURRENTLY: Sun at 20 Aquarius (detriment – no Sun Magick now) Mercury RETROGRADE at 19 Aquarius Venus at 7 Aquarius (neutral) Mars at 16 Taurus Jupiter at 11 Aquarius Saturn at 6 Aquarius (rulership) Neptune at 19 Pisces (rulership, strong) Pluto at 25 Capricorn North Node at 16 Gemini

Electric New Moon in Aquarius this week! Allow yourself to have a personal revolution; a complete shift in how you want to operate in the world. Has there been something important to you that’s been on the back burner for a long time? Maybe it’s time to make it a priority. Approach your life in a radical new way! This is the path to adventure and achievement, or understanding what the next phase of your life will be. Aquarius is the sign of vision, and the future, so it’s easier to find the path forward right now.
There are six (!!!) planets in Aquarius this week! That’s A LOT. PLUS a New Moon in Aquarius this Thursday. Whichever house in your chart contains the sign of Aquarius, it’s getting a huge wake up call right now!! You just can’t ignore this corner of your life this month. All of the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) will feel the intensity of this shift the entire year.
Monday, February 8th: Moon in Capricorn, and Mercury retrograde crosses backwards over the Sun in the pre dawn hours. This gives a heavy vibe to the beginning of our week. Discipline and hard work are the only ways to get through today.
Tuesday, February 9th: Moon void-of-course in Capricorn all day until 5:20pm Pacific. A void Moon is the time to put energy into things already started, and do what you need to do to get grounded. There could be sudden surprises today, so be open to quick changes – especially around work, health and home. Capricorn brings a serious, focused and ambitious mood. What’s your goal?
Wednesday, February 10th: Moon in Aquarius conjuncts Saturn, Venus and Jupiter in turn throughout the day. This brings emotional integration to any big changes we’re going through right now. Today feels great, with most of us experiencing a lot of energy and excitement. We are in the realm of the New Moon, so pay attention to any revelations you receive from the Universe. Retrograde Mercury squares Mars which can bring tension to communications.
Thursday, February 11th: New Moon in Aquarius in the morning, then goes void-of-course starting at 11:06am Pacific. People will be friendly but slightly detached, so it’s a good day for communications of all kinds. Our minds are expanded with new ideas, and all things are possible today, so don’t hesitate to take action on anything. Clearing the air and speaking your truth should go very well.
Friday, February 12th: Moon in Pisces, and the Year of the Metal Ox begins! No major aspects today, so feel free to be dreamy and floaty like the Piscean Fish. Solitude, music, art, movies and creativity are highlighted today. If you need to have meetings or work through agreements, do it in the morning. Defining things could be difficult with the influence of Neptune, but it’s a great date night since boundaries are open. Retrograde Mercury also conjuncts Venus in the middle of the night, so expect the truth to be spoken.
Saturday, February 13th: Moon in Pisces conjuncts Neptune, and Mars sextiles Neptune! Wonderful vibe. Boundaries are fuzzy and it’s easy to feel lost as our path disappears under our feet. Creative genius is easily accessible. Try not to overindulge in drugs or alcohol though – all this Neptune energy can lead to escapism. Move towards inspiration instead: music, solitude, and communing with the divine.
Sunday, February 14th: Moon in Aries. VALENTINE’S DAY! With the Moon in Aries practice self love – even if you’re in a relationship. Self Love is the best foundation for any and all pursuits in life. Also, Mercury conjunct Jupiter. Stay home, and swim around in your intuitions, ideas and creativity. If you are near a body of water, today is good for a visit.
CURRENTLY: Sun at 4 Leo Mercury at 15 Cancer (weak) Venus at 20 Gemini (neutral) Mars at 15 Aries (Rulership) Jupiter RETROGRADE at 20 Capricorn (fall, very weak) Saturn RETROGRADE at 28 Capricorn (rulership) Pluto RETROGRADE at 23 Capricorn Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong) North Node at 27 Gemini
The Sun is now in Leo, the playful sign of the Summer Lion. The Sun represents the Soul, and the sign of Leo is it’s natural home. The Sun rules healing, leadership, creativity, romance, children, and our ability to shine. It’s presence in your chart indicates the most important area of your life. We’ve made it through the transformative eclipses of June/July, now we reestablish our new identities in the brightness of our star.
This week sees the start of some amazing planetary oppositions and “square offs”. Mercury (the Mind) is opposing the heavyweight planets of the “Covid point” – Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn. Then Mars (drive, strength) comes along and squares these same planets. The Saturn-Pluto conjunction that set off this year’s pandemic, social upheaval and global restructuring, will be shaken and stirred by these aspects. Astrologically, each of us is being transformed by the power of Pluto, the seriousness of Saturn, the truth of Jupiter and the heat of Mars I hope these tensions in the sky won’t translate to more violent protests here on Earth. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. If you’re going to a protest be extra careful, especially around the police.
Both collectively and individually, this is a time to face our deepest selves and to own all that we are, all that we’ve done, and all that we want to be.
Monday, July 27th: Moon in Scorpio. Mercury squares Mars today, which can bring opportunities for truth sharing and blunt opinions. With the Moon in Scorpio, it’s best to avoid “going there”. Keep things as light as you can, because folks are sensitive right now. Venus square Neptune today gives us creative and artistic opportunities, but we have to actually DO it. Daydreaming or escaping reality doesn’t count. These two aspects are influencing us all week.
Tuesday, July 28th: Moon in Scorpio. Transform and rebirth yourself. Set yourself on fire like the Phoenix, and fly high like an eagle. Scorpio is the sign of letting go of something you’ve outgrown, and welcoming the new you.
Wednesday, July 29th: Moon in Sagittarius. It’s a day of motion and looking at the big picture. It’s a lighter mood if you need to express something difficult or challenging to someone.
Thursday, June 30th: Moon into Sagittarius. Day of truth and justice. Pragmatic, honorable, and well-thought-out actions will bring progress to your ambitions. Mercury opposes Jupiter today, so commit to facts rather than fantasies.
Friday, June 31st: Moon in Capricorn. A serious tone for people seeking romance and fun. Time is better spent on completing responsibilities, cooking, resting, and getting grounded.
Saturday, August 1st: Moon in Capricorn. Get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Today the Mercury Opposition to Pluto is exact. The Moon is in the same area and could create stubbornness, inflexibility and stony silences. Journaling, meditation, online research and healing are a great use of time. It could be an evening of transformative conversations involving sex, healing, ambitions and money.
Sunday, August 2nd: Moon in Aquarius. Sun square Uranus exact. Watch out for risky behavior, since Uranus brings spontaneity, rebellion, and independence. Focus on the future, and expressing your unique genius.

CURRENTLY: Sun at 1 Cancer Mercury RETROGRADE at 14 Cancer (weak) Venus RETROGRADE at 5 Gemini (neutral) Mars at 26 Pisces (weak) Jupiter RETROGRADE at 25 Capricorn (fall, very weak) Saturn RETROGRADE at 0 Aquarius (rulership) Pluto RETROGRADE at 24 Capricorn Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong) North Node at 29 Gemini
We had a major shift this weekend, did you feel it? The North Node conjunct the New Moon on Saturday gave us a glimpse of the future, and what will be developing over the next six months. It’s interesting to notice any signs or messages from the Universe during an eclipse; what happened in your life?
Astrologically, the Sun and Moon were conjunct with the North Node (future) bringing us a powerful New Moon Eclipse in Cancer. Along with this we had the Summer Solstice, which is the high point of light for the whole year. From now on the days will gradually get shorter.
In the background we have many retrograde planets – Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter are all retrograde, with Neptune turning retrograde on Monday at 9:30pm. This means we are reassessing every corner of our lives this Summer. We are going over ground we’ve already covered to see if our chosen path still works for us. It’s a time of contemplation and soul searching.
Venus will be resurrecting herself on Thursday as the Morning Star. She goes through her retrograde cycle every 1.6 years, and this week she is reemerging as a glorious, new queen. A few weeks ago she turned retrograde, descended in the twilight as the evening star, became purified in the fires of the Sun, traveled through the underworld, and now rises as a new morning star. It’s a beautiful cycle of rebirth, and it has been mirrored in our society by the emergence of a new civil rights movement.
Monday, June 22nd: Moon in Cancer, Neptune Retrograde in Pisces. The lovely new moon in Cancer continues today and reaches greater strength. People might be sensitive right now, so be kind and gentle towards others. Intuitive, creative work and music are highlighted today.
Tuesday, June 23rd: Moon in Leo. Let the child in you come out and play! You can receive concessions from authority today, or you may find yourself leading others. Great day to let yourself stand out and shine!
Wednesday, June 24th: Moon void-of-course in Leo ALL DAY, Venus Direct at 11:48pm. Day of continuity from yesterday’s developments. A void Moon always means to lay low and follow well-laid plans. Stay away from risks or negotiation, instead stabilize what’s in progress.
Thursday, June 25th: Moon in Virgo. Our focus turns towards health, habits and being of service to others. Spend the day getting organized; detailed work is easy now. As for Venus, she begins her ascent back from the underworld today, which is often the hardest part of the journey. Be gentle with yourself today.
Friday, June 26th: Moon in Virgo. Organize the house, have a work out and a salad.
Saturday, June 27th: Moon in Libra, Mars into Aries. We will be full of energy and ambition today, but with the moon in Libra everything will be a team effort. Partnerships are highlighted.
CURRENTLY: Sun at 25 Gemini Mercury at 15 Cancer, going RETROGRADE (weak) Venus RETROGRADE at 7 Gemini (neutral) Mars at 21 Pisces (weak) Jupiter RETROGRADE at 25 Capricorn (fall, very weak) Saturn RETROGRADE at 1 Aquarius (rulership) Pluto RETROGRADE at 24 Capricorn Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong) North Node at 29 Gemini
We’re in the dark of the Moon this week, so don’t start anything just rest. We are however, moving towards some major events on Saturday, June 20th. The Sun will move into Cancer heralding the Summer Solstice! It’s the time of longest days and greatest light. The yearly astrological cycle reaches a climax this week. Whatever seed you planted at the Spring Equinox should begin to show itself.
Along with the Summer Solstice this Saturday, we have a Full Moon ECLIPSE at 0 degrees Cancer! June is the month of eclipses, and this energy is making us change. We are rebirthing ourselves, our lives, and hopefully our society, into a world that supports and values everyone. The events of June will continue to unfold over the next six months.
Mars conjunct Neptune AND the Moon over the weekend is still in effect. It’s not the happiest place for Mars, and men in particular might be struggling. Still, our energy is driven towards the collective unconscious which is currently demanding real change in the face of racial disparity. We are one people, and this needs to be acknowledged and assimilated deeply in a new way. The grief and anger is palpable, and my heart goes out to all the folks suffering right now.
Neptune is a big part of the current cultural shifts. This planet allows us to easily access intuition, mysticism, healing, Magick, art and music as part of expressing ourselves. With the North Node (destiny) in Gemini (community), we can bring healing towards our local groups and society – which I hope will happen ❤
Also, the planet Venus is part of the picture this week. The planet of Love, beauty and women is currently going through her retrograde cycle, which is commonly seen as her descent through the underworld. Venus is still near (but moving away) from her conjunction with the Sun a couple weeks ago, so we cannot see her in the skies. She is invisible to the human eye and traveling through the underworld, about to be reborn as the Morning Star on June 25th. Anything that has been denied in our lives and society is visible now and demanding acknowledgement, which can be seen in the racial injustice and new protest movement encircling the globe.
Monday, June 15th: Moon in Aries. Good day to start things, but don’t be headstrong. Moon will be squaring Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn (the Covid point), so stay out of social complications and arguments with other people.
Tuesday, June 16th: Moon in Taurus. Refocus on your needs and home life. Walk in nature, work in the garden and cook something scrumptious. Beware of overspending with online shopping.
Wednesday, June 17th: Moon in Taurus, Mercury retrograde at 15 Cancer. Day of continuity from yesterday’s developments, but with Mercury stationing retrograde, be careful around communication, negotiation and signing anything important. Taurus moon means to be cautious, so stay away from risks or negotiation. Stabilize what is already in motion.
Thursday, June 18th: Moon into Gemini at 2pm Pacific, Mercury Retrograde at 15 Cancer. Creative day focused on self-nurturing.
Friday, June 19th: Moon in Gemini. Probably the best day for reaching an understanding with others. Good date night, but wear a mask 🙂 We are in the realm of the New Moon, so contemplate what you’d like to see happen in your life over the next several months.
Saturday, June 20th: SUMMER SOLSTICE. New Moon ECLIPSE at 0 Cancer at 11:41pm. Moon in Gemini, Sun into Cancer. Today is the highpoint of the Sun, the time of greatest light and longest days. We will be full of energy and ambition today, however, Mars conjunct Neptune is exact which can confuse our efforts. Get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Bring some compassion into your day.
Sunday, June 21st: New Moon ECLIPSE in Cancer continues… be kind to yourself and others.
Nov. 15th: Mars in Pisces.
Nov. 16th: Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius, and Venus Direct in Libra.
Monday, Nov. 19th: Moon in Aries, Sun in Scorpio. There’s potential for headstrong behavior today. If it’s hard to gain traction on a project, focus instead on clarifying your vision. Moon/Sun are in Mars-ruled signs, but Mars itself is in Pisces. Mars doesn’t like slogging around in Pisces. Avoid being passive-aggressive when you don’t get your way. Notice if you’re lost in fantasies, guilt trips, gossiping or grudges, and try to be present with unconscious motivations. The desire to escape your life through drinking, drugs, sugar or shopping is a common theme this week.
Tuesday, Nov. 20th: Moon into Taurus at 3:43pm Pacific, Sun in Scorpio. Moon in Taurus (exalted) helps everybody calm down. Enjoy nature and sensual delights today, but avoid intensity in relationships.
Wednesday, Nov. 21st: Moon in Taurus, Sun in Scorpio. Another nature/food day! Excellent date night, or to do anything creative and artistic. Mars and Jupiter will both be amplifying the Full Moon in Gemini tomorrow, but you can feel it now.
Thursday, Nov. 22nd: Moon void all day in Taurus (8:10pm into Gemini).
FULL MOON at 9:39pm. Sun into Sagittarius. THANKSGIVING.
With the Full Moon today and Neptune stationing Direct Saturday, try not to drink too much. Watch a movie or play board games to cool down family tensions. Also, follow traditions today – don’t do anything risky or spontaneous.
Friday, Nov. 23rd: Full Moon in Gemini, Sun in Sagittarius. Should be a chatty and sociable day.
Saturday, Nov. 24th: Moon in Gemini; Neptune Direct in Pisces 5:08pm. When Neptune is stationing Direct, things are not what they appear to be. Try to keep your feet on the ground today. Huge spiritual breakthroughs and revelations are possible.
The thing to remember with Mercury Retrograde is to slow down a little bit. It’s never a good idea to lie or be covert in your actions, but it’s really something to avoid right now. Don’t conceal anything.
Early/middle November is a powerful time. When the Sun is in Scorpio we are in the Underworld, the spirit world is close and the invisibles are active. The Scorpio Sun is sacred to the dark goddess Hecate, who stands at the crossroads with her torches, scissors and three black hounds; she helps you release your old life. She is the Goddess of Witchcraft, Night, Magick, Dogs and herbalism. She protects people on the fringes – those who rebel against societies norms and follow their own drum beat. She will help you see the truth, which can be jarring but liberating. She is known as Phosphorus, the Torch Bearer and Venus as the Morning Star. Inner seeing is key. Your inner navigation system is more accurate than what’s on the screen.
“The lion doesn’t turn around when the small dog barks.” – African Proverb.
Last few days of the Sun in Leo.
Sunday, August 19 – MERCURY DIRECT in Leo, Moon in Sagittarius. That’s a lot of fiery energy! Good creative day. Take the lead.
Monday, August 20 – Moon in Sagittarius; void at 4:47pm Pacific. Express your artistic passions or try something new. Adventures.
Tuesday, August 21 – Moon in Capricorn. Work work work! Take the traditional path and put energy towards things you can control. Focus on your ambitions; let go of other people’s agendas.
Wednesday, August 22 – Moon in Capricorn and Sun into Virgo at 9:09pm Pacific. A strong Earth day. Take action on creating stability. Bolster your foundation and gain the favor of people in authority. And of course, work work work.
Thursday, August 23 – Moon in Aquarius and Sun in Virgo. Take practical steps towards achieving your ideas and goals. In fact, set some goals if you haven’t in a while 🙂
Friday, August 24 – Moon in Aquarius continues. Focus on creating the future you’d like to see happen. Nice day and evening for romance.
Saturday, August 25 – Moon void in Aquarius all day. Full Moon tomorrow. Follow established plans; don’t do anything risky today. Be of service to others, work with groups. Visit the ocean.
