Friday, 10:34am: Full Moon Eclipse at 15 Scorpio.
Avoid social complications and risky situations.
Reality is bending, and we are being transformed.
Pluto has released a surge of life-transforming energy from the primordial depths.
It is also True Beltane today.

The key word is BALANCE. This Full Moon puts the focus on our relationships – business and personal. Clear the air, forge new agreements, speak the truth, and put energy into the neglected areas of your life. If something has been standing in your way, now is the time to deal with it. Get it done.

This one is an invitation — to follow the Messenger’s mythic, magical journey to reclaim the genius of your body mind and retrieve the brilliance of that fire that lights up the web through which the Cosmos enters you — the one we call the nervous system, linking you to the cosmos-neurological web of the Universe itself. This one is a daring, high-stakes mission — to rewild your mind and bring your life fully alive, just as spring does to the world.

In the ancient world, where Mercury was called Hermes, he was the god of finding and meeting, the guide of souls, and the trickster (the mythic figure who crosses time, space, and cultures).

April 6th, 2023: Full Moon at 16º Libra, opposing Chiron at 15º Aries
Also, Mercury conjunct North Node at 4º Taurus

The key word is BALANCE. This Full Moon puts the focus on our relationships – business and personal. Clear the air, forge new agreements, speak the truth, and put energy into the neglected areas of your life. If something has been standing in your way, now is the time to deal with it. Get it done.

With Chiron (the Healer) in the mix, our relationship traumas could come up. Face them and heal them – especially issues around codependency, trauma bonding and attachment wounds. Awareness, communication and healing are within reach! If we’ve been isolating, the Libra energy fosters reconnection with people.

Chiron shows us where to find the medicine to heal ourselves, and since it’s conjunct the Sun at 16º Aries (which is exalted), it’s about self-acceptance, motivation, and confidence. Refocus on your personal journey, and what you want to accomplish here on Earth.

On the same day Mercury conjuncts the North Node at 4º Taurus. This is the mind joining with destiny. There is insight into our future path or direction, however Taurus wants us to be grounded and in reality about it. How do we manifest our dreams? How do we make things happen in the real world? Taurus reminds us to connect with the physical world and use our five senses; what we see, feel, hear, smell, taste, and touch in front of us.

Making a talisman for a planet gives one the power of attracting the Seven Planetary Forces. Unfortunately these metals are extremely expensive, or lethal (i.e. lead and quicksilver), but it’s still interesting to look at these correspondences. They apply to writing with different colored inks as well.

Gold is the Metal of the Sun
Silver is the Metal of the Moon
Iron is the Metal of Mars
Copper is the Metal of Venus
Quicksilver is the Metal of Mercury
Tin is the Metal of Jupiter
Lead is the Metal of Saturn

The 7 Kabbalistic Signs of the Planets are:

Full Moon in Virgo/ Saturn into Pisces

March 7, 2023: Full Moon at 16 Virgo. The sign of the Virgin, which represents “being whole”, pure, and uncorrupted. It unifies our health and our work, and inspires us to live in integrity. Beware of the obsession with perfection and overthinking.

If you feel overwhelmed by this full moon, go over to the Pisces Sun on the other side of the sky for guidance. Reconnect with your spirituality, faith, and the god of your heart. Reassure yourself that you are exactly where you need to be right now, and cleanse yourself and your home.

Also today, Saturn enters Pisces. This marks a huge change in the undercurrent of our lives and society. Saturn is authority, ambition and power, and represents the institutions in our world, as well as the structures of our lives. Pisces dissolves what it touches, and erodes the stability of Saturn, so Saturn isn’t too happy in Pisces.

The best way to handle this transit is to be aware of the qualities of “sacrifice” and “surrender”. Use them to navigate the realities in your life. Surrender to discipline, to your basic needs, to the reality of who you are and what you want to accomplish. This will be a great few years to focus on bettering yourself, and supporting the growth of people around you.

March 1st, 2023 Venus conjunct Jupiter at 17 Pisces (Tropically at 12 Aries)

Venus and Jupiter are two of the most positive planets in astrology, and they both shine brightest in the sign of Pisces! Their true natures are easily expressed here, so this conjunction is particularly significant. Pisces is the Great Mystery; the sign of hope, and connection with the divine.

Venus is the planet of attraction, love, art, romance, friendship and parties. Venus is exalted in the sign of Pisces, so she is completely at home in the gentle sweetness of this sign. Jupiter rules Pisces, and the planet’s flowing abundance, riches and luck appear naturally here. Venus and Jupiter coming together is one of the most auspicious planetary aspects! It highlights how we have wisened up, realized new truths about ourselves, and opened to love. This is a time to trust your instincts, follow your wisdom, and stand in the truth. A miracle could happen.

As Venus and Jupiter meet, they will be two degrees away from the great healer, Chiron, which symbolizes deep healing and a new receptiveness to love, abundance, creativity and feelings. We might feel our wounds deeply and want to run away, but the key is to move towards them. Embrace your wounds, feel the pain, and say to yourself “I’m willing to heal this.” The conjunction with Venus will bring up our wounds around love, particularly our self worth. The conjunction with Jupiter could bring up wounds around wealth, abundance and self esteem.

I’m curious if the conjunction can be seen in the evening sky as one huge star on March 1st and 2nd. Go take a look outside and bask in the loving emanation. Breakthroughs and miracles can occur, so notice the Magick happening around you.

Sunday, February 5, 2023: FULL MOON at 17 LEO Magical Day. A Full Moon (potential) in Leo (ruled by the SUN) on a Sunday is fabulous for Sun Magick! It’s a rare event, allowing magicians to fully access the enormous power of the Sun. Just Do It! Magick to increase the Will, creativity, greatness, leadership, romance, and all things artistic. Tarot card of the day is Strength – tame your inner lion with compassion and patience.

Explore your creativity this weekend and let yourself stand out. Today is the day of the heart. Have fun and play with some unstructured time. This enhances your imagination which is oh so important.

There’s a lot going on this week!

First off, there’s the last vestiges of the Saturn-Uranus square, which creates big drama between the traditional and progressive sides of our society. It was a catalyst for the seismic shifts in 2021 and 2022. Perhaps we will notice some of these themes coming up this week.

Wednesday, January 18th: Mercury turns direct at 8 Capricorn

Friday, January 20th: Sun enters Aquarius.

Saturday, January 21st: New Moon at 1°32 Aquarius – at 12:53 pm PT

Sunday, January 22nd: Lunar New Year of the Water Rabbit. This will be a much calmer year, but try to get chores and debts done by Sunday.
Uranus direct at 14 Taurus. It awakens energies from 2021/2022, plus the eclipse energies from last year. Eclipses activate a change in direction, plus the the arrival and the exit of people in our lives. It’s part of larger story about reinvention as well as evolving our relationship with money, stability, security, and fertility.

Happy Friday the 13th!

Friday is Freya’s Day (comes from the Nordic Goddess Freya), and the number 13 used to be a sacred number in pagan times because it represented the number of Full Moons in a year – the number of times women menstruated. Doesn’t listen to folks that say today is “unlucky”… it is sacred to the Goddess.

We begin this week with a fallow, 4th quarter Moon. We are wrapping things up, finishing projects and adjusting to new conditions. This is the last week of the Sun traveling through Libra, and with the Sun and Venus squaring Pluto, we are facing the toxic sides of our relationships. There’s a New Moon ECLIPSE in Scorpio coming next Tuesday, October 25th as well. All of this happening while Saturn, Mars and Pluto stand still in the sky.

Wednesday, October 19th: Moon in Leo, and everyone wants attention. Sun/Venus both square Pluto in the morning, revealing the underbelly of relationships. Be gentle when discussing issues with anyone today. Repressed emotions and fears rise to the surface, driving us towards security. Also, Mercury opposes Chiron giving voice to the health and healing of deep emotional wounds. It’s a transformative day.

We had a brilliant Full Moon Sunday at 16 Aries, which delivers peak experiences with survival, exploration, physicality, courage, and our personal story. Aries is a feisty sign, and indicates a new beginning. If you saw the Moon, you would notice a huge star in the sky next to it; this is Jupiter currently retrograding through Aries. It expands the power and punch of this week’s energies. If you felt a touch of sadness over the weekend, Chiron was also on the Moon, which symbolizes our deepest wounds.

Meanwhile, Pluto moved Direct on Saturday, but will sit at the same degree for a couple of weeks. Pluto is a heavy influence for the rest of October. Saturn is ALSO standing still in the sky, about to go Direct on October 23rd. When Pluto and Saturn are both stationary and preparing to change direction, their energies grind down on us. It was the conjunction of Pluto and Saturn in January 2020 that heralded the pandemic, so we could experience echos of the last two years.

Wednesday, October 12th: Moon in Taurus goes void of course at 2:42pm, then squares Saturn and conjuncts Pluto in the evening. There could be some heaviness or intensity today. Energy will ramp up and move faster as the Moon moves towards Gemini. Remember what Lao Tzu wrote, “Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them — that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”
