As above, so below.
As without, so within.
When we look “out there”, it reflects and mirrors what’s within, which is one reason I like to look at astrology. The Sun is in Libra now, we had a New Moon yesterday, and the Fall Equinox last week. The metaphoric seeds we planted last March have been ripening all year, and we harvest them now. There are aspects this week that will give us real opportunities to change our world for the better.

Sunday’s New Moon in Libra is unfolding this week, so there will be continued developments in partnerships, agreements, romance and diplomacy. Practice the art of balance. The 4th quarter starts next Saturday. This is Libra season, so take some time to reflect on your relationships, and how you’d like the upcoming Moon cycle to go. If you need a personal reading on how this Libra cycle will affect you, book a short reading with me here for $45.

Thursday, September 29th: Moon in Scorpio goes void-of-course at 2:20pm Pacific for the rest of the day, so get your important stuff done in the morning. Also, Venus enters Libra which is her happy place. The planet of Love is home here, and can fully express her grace, manners, wittiness, and power. Women’s energies will be strong for the next month, and we can make incredible progress especially with creativity.

Friday, September 30th: Moon in Sagittarius. Life is imaginative and dreamy today as Venus opposes Neptune. This aspect happens once every 18 months and can indicate wild imagination and/or delusion in the arenas of art and romance. It’s on the Virgo-Pisces axis so we can also access inspiration and compassion. Remember your dreams! This is a great night to meet someone and share lovely moments, just watch out for fantasies taking over the reality.

Week of September 5th: Full Moon in Pisces

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 13 Virgo
Mercury STATIONING at 7 Libra
Venus at 0 Virgo
Mars at 8 Gemini
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 6 Aries
Saturn RETROGRADE at 20 Aquarius (rulership)
Uranus RETROGRADE at 18 Taurus
Neptune RETROGRADE 24 Pisces (rulership)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 26 Capricorn
North Node at 15 Taurus

We are building up to the Full Moon at 17 Pisces on Saturday. This week is calmer then things have been, but the Full Moon will still have some intensity for us. Also, Mercury goes retrograde this Friday, September 9th, which means the winged messenger is “stationing” or standing still all week – AND trining Mars at the same time. Misunderstandings or odd conversations can happen. Mercury retrograde is for going back over things you’ve done and examining their accessibility or completion. There will be six planets in retrograde for September, so we are looking back on this year, our lives, and our progress.

Sunday, Venus left passionate, fiery Leo for the earthy, manicured lands of Virgo. Venus in Virgo is more grounded, and relates to the Queen of Pentacles in the Tarot. She’s also The Hermit: an experienced, middle-aged Priestess who has deep wisdom about life. This Venus is practical and has no trouble assessing relationships in a neutral way to see if they are working. She can be a little too critical and oriented towards perfection. With relationships and the creation of art, let yourself be meticulous, discriminating and oriented towards the journey rather than the destination. Virgo is an earth sign, so eating well, being courteous, and keeping a clean house can lead to progress,

Mars in Gemini wants to LEARN. We are driven towards information, socializing, and learning. Its curiosity, networking, designing, commerce, business, and negotiations. There’s a lot of opportunity here – and it’s a good time to get a lot done on many different levels. We can engineer and perfect things, share our thoughts with other people and plan things out.

Friday, September 9th: Moon in Pisces all day opposes Venus in Virgo, which can be tough for date night. Women could be more critical or fussy. If you’re going out tonight, make a solid plan and stick to it. Moon in Pisces is great for movies and entertainment. An opposition means you have to put some work into progressing. Also today, Mercury goes retrograde at 8:38pm Pacific, and will continue moving backwards until Oct 1st. This is not a reason to freak out. Just drive cautiously, and try not to buy any big ticket items until October. If you must work towards something, start small with easily attainable goals. Allow time to reflect on your life.

Week of August 8th: Full Moon in Aquarius

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 15 Leo
Mercury DIRECT at 4 Virgo
Venus at 24 Cancer
Mars at 22 Taurus
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 8 Aries
Saturn RETROGRADE at 22 Aquarius (rulership)
Neptune RETROGRADE 25 Pisces (rulership)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 26 Capricorn
North Node at 18 Taurus

We made it through the powerful Mars/Uranus/North Node conjunction last week. Now this same conjunction will be affected by the Full Moon. On Thursday, the Full Moon joins Saturn at 20 Aquarius, and squares the Mars/Uranus/Nodes conjunction. This is a really intense couple of weeks because the Universe is insisting we let go of the past, so we can move on to a new path in life. This week’s Full Moon in Aquarius dramatically activates our commitment to our new life too, because we have to face obstacles and limitations.

Along with activating a new life path, the Full Moon in Aquarius brings peak experiences to our social circle, inherent gifts, and progress. The Mars/Uranus/North Node conjunction is happening in Taurus, which gives us a new set of values. What are your priorities, and where do you really want to go?

Redefine yourself, but put yourself in alignment with the true essence of who you are.

Thursday, August 11th: Full Moon in Aquarius at 6:36pm Pacific as the Sun in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus, and Venus enters Leo! It’s a crazy day and ANYTHING can happen. Venus loves being in Leo – the sign that corresponds to the heart. Let yourself shine as bright as the Moon. With Aquarius, the call to be free is strong; expect the unexpected. Still, with the Full Moon conjunct Saturn, we need to show up for our commitments and responsibilities. There’s a lot of energy flying around today, so just try and be present and focus on what you have control over.

Climb a high peak and watch the Sun set and the Moon rise at the same time. This is a powerful, revolutionary Full Moon, and it’s the brightest of the year. The nature of Aquarius, independence, genius, science, courage, revolution, will be at their highest within each of us.

Full Moon at 25 Scorpio last night at 9:14pm Pacific. The Moon is weak here, in her fall, meaning that emotions are not easily expressed. Scorpio is the Halloween sign, representing Autumn and decay. Taurus represents springtime, which emerges from the decay as the blooming and flowering of life. Both are dependent on the other and are deeply tied to life on earth. A Scorpio Moon can bring up issues around intimacy and vulnerability, power and control. Use this week to cut the cords of the past and put your energy into the present.

This is the development, the fruition, of whatever was happening two weeks ago. It’s a solar eclipse, which heightens everything and creates a “do or die” attitude. The Full Moon also squares Saturn in Aquarius. We look at our subconscious motivations and turn toward a new direction.

Plotinus wrote: “The stars are like letters that inscribe themselves at every moment in the sky. Everything in the world is full of signs. All events are coordinated. All things depend on each other. Everything breathes together.”

Monday, May 16th: Moon in Sagittarius, but last night’s Full Moon Eclipse in Scorpio is in full effect. No risk taking or pushing boundaries today, focus on yourself and your needs. Venus is conjunct Chiron, which promotes HUGE healing in relationships. Take a fresh look at your inner wounds and be open for new realizations. Today is transformative, so take an unwavering look at your shadow side.

Tuesday, May 17th: Moon in Sagittarius all day. Look at goals and aim for the highest ideals. Jupiter is squaring Lilith for the next couple of weeks, which can expand acts of authenticity and boundary setting. This aspect activates women, self esteem and fearlessness. Also last night we had a biggie – Mars conjunct Neptune near midnight. Strong energy for artistic, romantic, musical or spiritual pursuits. Hopefully no bad news regarding water.

Wednesday, May 18th: Moon in Capricorn, which is the Moon’s detriment. Another tough day for emotional sharing, so hold off if you can. The rest of the week is about hard work and earned rewards, because Saturn insists on commitment. The Full Moon is still unfolding, so there will be continued developments with current issues.

Thursday, May 19th: Moon in Capricorn all day so we follow our drives and ambitions. Do not seek concessions from authority figures – leave that until next week. Take stock of life and strengthen the foundation. Mercury sextile Jupiter is exact which lightens the mood.

Friday, May 20th: Moon in Aquarius. The Sun leaves Taurus for GEMINI at 6:23pm Pacific! We move from an Earth sign to an Air sign, which makes all of us feel lighter. With Gemini, our minds and social circles are activated. Lots of chattiness… talking is the way forward.

Saturday, May 21st: Moon in Aquarius and Sun conjunct Mercury is exact. These aspects, plus the Suns’ entrance into Gemini, make this a very “Airy” day. Mercury is retrograde though, so reworking old ideas or reorganizing your life are the best outlets. Air energy is mental activities, studying, short trips, puzzles, communication and community. Enjoy learning and good conversation.

Sunday, May 22nd: Moon in Pisces enters her 4th quarter, and we are in the dark of the Moon. Now is the time for solitude, introspection, and rest. Mercury moves backwards into Taurus and immediately squares Saturn (in Aquarius) in the morning. Guard against negative thinking or arguments with authorities. Release old habits and thinking patterns.

As above, so below.
As without, so within.
When we look “out there”, it reflects and mirrors what’s within, which is one reason I like to look at astrology. The Sun enters Taurus at 7:24pm Pacific on Tuesday, and we enter the heart of Spring. The metaphoric seeds we plant now will continue to grow throughout the year ahead. Both the Full Moon last Saturday, and the Sun’s entry into Taurus, occur in square to Pluto in Capricorn. It is likely that during these days there will be an undercurrent of stubbornness and insensitivity, so remember its temporary.

Saturday’s Full Moon in Libra is still unfolding this week, so there will be continued developments with any issues you are facing right now. The 4th quarter starts next Saturday. This is Taurus season, so take some time to reflect on how you’d like the upcoming Moon cycle to go. If you need a personal reading on how this Taurus cycle will affect you, book a short reading with me here for $45.

Monday, April 18th: Moon in Scorpio goes void around 5pm, then into Sagittarius at 8:16pm. Jupiter is still close to Neptune in Pisces, and today the Moon comes along in Scorpio and trines them, bringing joyful, expansive moods and communications. Also today, Venus sextile Uranus is exact in the middle of the night. This can show up as enlightening conversations with lovers and friends. Expect breakthroughs. The biggie today is the Sun square Pluto in the morning. There’s some action you need to take regarding your evolution. Perhaps some toxic energy needs to be released in order for you to progress. Today is transformative and healing is favored; take an unwavering view of your shadow side.

Tuesday, April 19th: Moon in Sagittarius all day, and the Sun leaves Aries for Taurus at 7:24pm Pacific! Embrace the rebirth of the Spring season. With Taurus we settle into earthly comforts, luxury, romance and good food. Also, Mars trines Lilith (0 Cancer) at 1 degree Pisces. This aspect activates women, self esteem and boundaries. This week we are fearless.

Wednesday, April 20th: Moon void-of-course in Sagittarius ALL DAY!!! She enters Capricorn at 8:52pm Pacific. We start with an optimistic mood, but it withers as we move towards the heaviness of Capricorn and Saturn. Look at your goals and aim for your highest ideals. The rest of this week is about hard work and earned rewards.

Thursday, April 21st: Moon in Capricorn all day. Drives, ambition, and tenacity are in alignment, there’s no big aspects, just lots of hard work. Do not seek concessions from authority figures – leave that until next week. From Capricorn, we build our lives from a solid foundation. Take stock of your life.

Friday, April 22nd: Moon in Capricorn enters her 4th quarter, and we are in the dark of the Moon. Now is the time for solitude, introspection, and rest. This Moon ushers us into a working weekend. There could be some unexpected heaviness around social events tonight. Things may be hard to get off the ground. The only way forward today is to focus.

Saturday, April 23rd: No exact aspects so it’s a quiet day. Moon in Aquarius on a Saturday, is GREAT for saturnian Magick, i.e. discipline, structure and commitment. Saturn represents our stability, and brings up themes of time, karma, and authority.

Sunday, April 24th: Moon in Aquarius, goes void-of-course at 5:33pm Pacific. Mercury (Taurus) squares Saturn (Aquarius) in the morning. This aspect can indicate negative thinking, arguments with authorities, or problems with mental limitations. We have the chance to upgrade our thinking and the worn out structures of our habits and patterns.

The Sun entered Aries at 8:33am Pacific on Sunday, and it’s officially Spring! Hail unto Ostara and the spirit of rebirth! This is the astrological New Year, and has been celebrated all over the world since ancient times. This time of year is a major turning point for each of us. The metaphoric seeds we plant now will continue to grow throughout the year ahead.

Last Thursday’s Full Moon in Virgo is still unfolding this week, so there will be continued developments with any issues you are facing right now. The 4th quarter starts this Thursday. This is Aries season, so take some time to reflect on how you’d like the upcoming Moon cycle to go. If you need a personal reading on how this Aries cycle will affect you, book a short reading with me here for $45.

Monday, March 21st: Moon in Scorpio. Mercury caught up with Jupiter last night, and made a lovely conjunction in Pisces – very close to Neptune. Today, the Moon comes along in Scorpio and trines all three of them, bringing joyful, expansive moods and communications. Today is transformative. Healing is favored along with strength, and an unwavering view of our shadow sides. This Moon brings out the truth, but also makes people sensitive, so avoid social complications.

Tuesday, March 22nd: Moon in Scorpio, moving into Sagittarius at noon. Also, Mars square Uranus will be exact. This aspect can bring risky actions, crankiness, sudden outbursts or anger. Give tense people a wide berth this week and avoid confrontations. There could be escalation in the Russian invasion of Ukraine too. Watch for sudden developments or changes at work, and stop any psychological examinations of other peoples’ behavior. Focus instead on healing and rebirthing yourself.

Wednesday, March 23rd: Moon in Sagittarius brings an optimistic mood. Look at your goals and aim for your highest ideals. Mercury conjuncts Neptune in Pisces today, which can create confusion with communication and understanding. The edges of our boundaries and motivations are blurred, but it’s a wonderful time to access imagination. A conjunction brings a positive blending of energies, so taking action towards your dreams can yield excellent results, especially with writing. Also great for scrying, divination, and exploring psychic or religious worlds.

Thursday, March 24th: Moon in Sagittarius moves into Capricorn at 2:54pm Pacific, and makes a nice sextile to the Sun. Drives, ambition, and tenacity are in alignment today. No big aspects today, just lots of hard work. Not the right day to seek concessions from authority figures – leave that until next week.

Friday, March 25th: Moon in Capricorn enters her 4th quarter, and we are in the dark of the Moon. Now is the time for solitude, introspection, and rest. This Moon ushers us into a working weekend. Friday is usually date night, but it won’t be a romantic evening unless you’ve finished your chores. From Capricorn, we build our lives from a solid foundation. Where are you right now? The only way forward today is through concentration.

Saturday, March 26th: Moon in Capricorn moves into Aquarius at 5:55pm Pacific. Moon in Capricorn/Aquarius, on a Saturday, is GREAT for saturnian Magick, i.e. discipline, structure and commitment. Saturn represents our stability, and brings up themes of structure, time, karma, and authority.

Sunday, March 27th: Moon in Aquarius. Mercury enters Aries which adds to the feelings of Spring and rebirth. Everything is “resetting” itself, and we are getting ready to bloom. It’s the beginning of a new yearly cycle, and our thinking is ambitious.

The Moon has entered her 3rd quarter, and there will be continued developments this week from last Tuesday’s Full Moon in Leo. The New Moon in Pisces is nine days away on Wednesday March 2nd. What does this mean? YOU get to REST this week! Take some time to reflect on how you’d like the upcoming Moon cycle to go. If you need a personal reading on how this Pisces cycle will affect you, book a short reading with me here for $45.

This week we are letting go, wrapping stuff up, paying off debts, and clearing our lives of stagnant energy.

The Sun has left the stratosphere of Aquarius, and is traveling through the early degrees of Pisces, the Fish. This is the last sign of the zodiac and encourages us to reflect and release. Let go of the past and anything you’ve outgrown. The Fish asks us to let go of boundaries and reality, and merge with the God of our Heart.
Join with the oneness.

Monday, February 21st: Moon in Scorpio trines Jupiter and squares Mercury today. Communications will be deep, intense, and transformative. There are no trivialities today, and our minds think strategically. Healing is favored along with strength, and an unwavering view of our shadow sides. Visit the ocean or hang out by a pool. This Moon brings out the truth, but also makes people sensitive, so avoid social complications. Moon opposing Uranus Monday night may involve surprises or interruptions.

Tuesday, February 22nd: Moon in Scorpio. Watch for power plays or manipulation tactics at work. Don’t get into psychological examinations of other peoples’ behavior – it won’t lead anywhere. Focus instead on healing and rebirthing yourself. A Scorpio Moon on a Tuesday, especially with Mars currently exalted in Capricorn, is FABULOUS for Mars Magick. Rituals that bring the truth or set boundaries are excellent today.

Wednesday, February 23rd: Moon in Sagittarius enters her 4th quarter, and we are in the dark of the Moon. Now is the time for solitude, introspection, and rest. At the same time, the Sagittarian moon makes us expansive and optimistic. Reassess your goals and aim for your highest ideals. Also, Mars sextile Neptune happens – blurring our boundaries and motivations. A sextile brings a positive blending of energies, so taking action towards your dreams can yield excellent results.

Thursday, February 24th: Moon in Sagittarius continues. Mars and Venus are basically conjunct this week, and today form a sextile to Neptune. This is excellent for relationships, and progress can be made in connecting with others. However, Mercury is also square Uranus today, which can bring a craving for independence, sudden events, and misunderstandings. Keep yourself grounded and be alert for revelations.

Friday, February 25th: Moon in Capricorn leads us into a working weekend. Friday is usually date night, but it won’t be a romantic evening unless you’re working with your paramour. From Capricorn, we build our lives from a solid foundation. Where are you right now? The only way forward today is through concentration and hard work.

Saturday, February 26th: Moon in Capricorn, and the mood is serious. Moon in Capricorn, on a Saturday, is GREAT for saturnian Magick, i.e. discipline, structure and commitment. Saturn represents our stability, and brings up themes of structure, time, karma, and authority.

Sunday, February 27th: Moon conjuncts Pluto in the morning bringing heaviness but moves into Aquarius at 10:33am. We have a nice trine with Mercury in the afternoon which will lighten the mood.

There will be continued developments this week from the dramatic Full Moon in Gemini on Saturday night. This Moon inspires us to start a new story in our lives; a new narrative. The Sun enters Capricorn on Tuesday, ushering in the Winter Solstice. We leave the optimistic fires of Sagittarius for the stern, cold hillsides of Capricorn. This turns our focus to the foundations of our lives, and creating new stability. With Capricorn season, the mood withers, and we are faced with reality, the bottom line, our career, finances and survival.

Monday, December 20th:  Moon in Cancer makes some lovely aspects but brings heightened sensitivity, so step carefully around peoples’ feelings. Go with the flow of your life, and put your energies towards things you have control over. The Moon in Cancer (the Moon’s natural home), on a MONDAY (day of the Moon), means you can do big Moon Magick. Anything involving security, the home, plants, cooking, nurturing, children, fertility or creativity is highlighted.

Tuesday, December 21st: Winter Solstice. Sun enters Capricorn at 8:00am, and the Moon is void-of-course in Cancer, entering Leo at 1:54pm Pacific. The Moon opposes Venus and Pluto too, which brings intensity to the day. Relationship issues could arise in order to be healed and released. Slow down and take your time with projects – there’s no rush.

Wednesday, December 22nd: Moon in Leo gives us a refreshed, lighter attitude today. Lead with your heart and focus on self expression. There’s some tricky aspects in the afternoon though: Moon opposes Saturn and squares Uranus in the late morning. This could bring up difficulties, and you’ll need to work to solve them. Patience is the only way through these energies. Take a break if you need to.

Thursday, December 23rd: Moon in Leo sextiles Neptune, Pluto and Venus today. This can bring small, positive developments with relationships. Peace can be achieved, and people will seek to connect through natural affinity. Today is good for seeking acknowledgement and cooperation from those in leadership positions. Also, entertainment will bring relaxation and happiness.

Friday, December 24th: Christmas Eve. Moon in Virgo makes us budget conscious, so last-minute shopping could become practically oriented. Also, the third and final Saturn square Uranus is exact today, igniting the friction between the old way of doing things and the new world approaching us. This has been the ongoing influence of this entire year – the battle between the old, traditional world and the new, progressive future. Choose your battles.

Saturday, December 25th: Christmas Day. Moon in Virgo trines Uranus and Mercury, which can bring sudden surprises. It will be a busy day. The best use of Virgo energy today is to follow a plan, put out healthy snacks, be of service and keep the house tidy. Avoid criticism and over-analysis. There could be a dark undercurrent – with retrograde Venus conjuncting Pluto for the second time. Release old, toxic energies and focus on healing.

Sunday, December 26th: Moon in Libra enters her 4th quarter. Kwanzaa begins, and in England it’s Boxing Day. The Moon trines Venus and Pluto today, bringing positive developments to the themes of this week. Mercury also sextiles Neptune which allows our minds to wander and be inspired. Spend quality time with the ones you love.

There will be continued developments this week from the dramatic Full Moon Eclipse last Thursday. The energies around an eclipse are tricky. The best way to handle it, is to do chores, grunt work, meetings, or phone calls that you’ve been avoiding for awhile. An eclipse often helps us see things inside us and around us that have been hidden, but the best way to deal with it is to limit sudden surprises in your life. That means dealing with your life in a deep way.

In ancient times, an eclipse was thought to be a portent of doom – corresponding to the head (North Node) and tail (South Node) of a great dragon. The dragon’s head is forever hungry and consuming, so the idea is, if you’re handling things you’ve been procrastinating on, you’re feeding the dragon’s head true sustenance, and the neverending hunger might be abated. In two weeks we’ll have to deal with another eclipse involving the tail of the dragon. More on that later…

The Sun entered Sagittarius today! We leave the watery, ocean depths of Scorpio for the sunny hillsides of the Centaur. This week starts in the third quarter of the Moon, turning into a fallow Moon on Saturday. With Sagittarius season, the mood lightens and we become more adventurous, philosophical, and goal-oriented. Be on the look out for false optimism and arrogance though.

Monday, November 22nd:  Moon in Cancer. Everyone will be hyper-sensitive, so careful not to offend anyone today. Avoid social complications or “rocking the boat”. Instead, go with the current of your life, and put your energies towards things you have control over. The Moon in Cancer (the Moon’s natural home), on a MONDAY (day of the Moon), means you can do big Moon Magick. Anything involving security, the home, plants, cooking, nurturing, children, fertility or creativity is highlighted.

Tuesday, November 23rd: Moon in Cancer continues; she opposes Venus, then trines Mars and Neptune. Still avoid confronting anyone today – indulge yourself instead. Creativity is accessible, so develop ideas. Good for love, tending plants and animals, opening up and clearing the house. Moon opposing Pluto in the evening can put us in a dark mood, so focus on healing.

Wednesday, November 24th: Moon into Leo at 8am Pacific gives us a refreshed, lighter attitude today. This is further enhanced by the Moon conjuncting the Sun and Mercury, newly in Sagittarius. Have some fun! Mercury in Sagittarius sets our minds free and allows us to explore our personal life perspectives for the next few weeks.

Thursday, November 25th: Moon in Leo is the PERFECT placement for Thanksgiving. People will lead from the heart and seek to connect through natural affinity. Today is also good for seeking acknowledgement and cooperation from those in leadership positions; although you shouldn’t be working. Performances will be first rate.

Friday, November 26th: Moon void-of-course All Day in Leo makes this a bad day to spend money. We are more likely to buy things on a whim and regret it later. Can you do Black Friday shopping tomorrow? Moon goes into Virgo at 6:12pm Pacific, which makes us much more discerning and budget conscious.

Saturday, November 27th: Moon in Virgo enters her 4th quarter. Today we balance the books, manage our health, and tackle anything requiring attention to detail. We are busy busy busy. The Moon makes a couple of squares with Mercury and the Sun, and trines Uranus around 4:15pm. It could be an evening of pleasant surprises.

Sunday, November 28th: Moon in Virgo, going void-of-course at 4pm Pacific. Today we do weekly shopping and get organized. The Moon makes five positive aspects today, culminating with a lovely Sun conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius. This means that Mercury is “via combusta”, or lost in the fires of the Sun, and we must operate on instinct. Hanukkah begins at sundown.
