Full Moon in Pisces Tuesday evening, which is normally a spiritual and peaceful event, however, issues around leadership, control and violence will be evident this week. Eris, the planet of Discord is in the sign of Aries, the Individual. She is in a tense square to her brother Pluto, the planet of extremes, in the sign of Capricorn, which symbolizes control and the patriarchy. I would avoid honestly avoid protests this week and the foreseeable future.

Monday, August 31st: Moon in Aquarius. Believe in your genius and gifts. No one else in the world can express your unique energy, so it’s up to you. People are friendly, and progress can be made in communications. With an Aquarius Moon, video chat with your friends or community. If you encounter stubbornness, practice mindfulness.

Tuesday, September 1st: Full (HARVEST) Moon in Pisces at 10:22pm. Meditate and contemplate. Music and spirituality soothe the soul and ignite our imaginations. Great night to play or listen to music, or do your art!

Wednesday, September 2nd: Full Moon in Pisces continues. Follow your intuition, go with the flow, and make time for solitude. Also, Venus opposition to Saturn is exact in the morning. Venus (women, art creativity) comes up against the reality and discipline needed to be productive. Women might come up against resistance in the work place. You are being asked to be patient, but to also completely own who you are and who you’re growing in to! Venus going through oppositions with Saturn and Pluto this week illuminates the areas where you are evolving and setting boundaries. Watch for messages from the Universe!

Thursday, September 3rd: Moon in Aries. Use what you’ve learned from the Full Moon this week to start something new today! Focus your ambition and drive towards things you want to accomplish. Aries is the sign of individuality, so it’s all about YOU. Try and get yourself grounded before undertaking anything. Lots of energy for adventures, creativity, and new projects.

Friday, September 4th: Moon In Aries. We are still feeling energetic and good progress can be made in the morning. Venus square Mars today brings sexy tension to relationships! With Mars in Aries and Venus in Cancer, be sensitive to the other person’s feelings, and make sure there is good understanding between you before taking any action.

Saturday, September 5th: Moon in Aries and Mercury into Libra! Our mental focus changes from analysis and nervousness to balance and creativity. You will receive lots of wonderful artistic and creative ideas. Communications in relationships will get a positive boost. Focus on being balanced and fair in your dealings with others.

Sunday, September 6th: Moon in Taurus. The coziness of home. Nice evening to cook and be around loved ones. Venus enters Leo today too! All of us will feel the urge to shine, express our individuality and be more outgoing. Love and art become fiery and passionate, and women step into leadership. Make use of this month, Venus will be in Leo until October 2nd. For artists, let yourself loose to experiment and show whatever you discovered while Venus was in Cancer.

Week of August 24th: VIRGO

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 1 Virgo
Mercury at 7 Virgo
Venus at 15 Cancer (neutral)
Mars at 26 Aries (Rulership)
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 18 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn RETROGRADE at 26 Capricorn (rulership)
Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 22 Capricorn
North Node at 25 Gemini

Virgo Season and the beginning of Harvest. The days are getting shorter and our instincts turn towards the approach of Fall. Such a magical time of year! The seasons are about to change next month, and this shift can bring dramatic changes in our lives. After the craziness of this year, I hope the changes will move us forward towards personal empowerment. Now is the time to release and purge objects and situations from our lives that we cannot bring into the winter.

This week, Mars moves past it’s square to Saturn, finishing it’s contact with the “Covid Point” of Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter near 24 Capricorn. Mars in Aries gives good forward progress on all passions and drives – especially with regards to retooling our identities to fit the new paradigm. We are all fired up right now, especially where Aries falls in your chart. This is the place where you step forward and say “I AM”, this is important to me, and I will fight for it. All of us have an action plan we’re supposed to be following, and this week we figure it out.

Monday, August 24th: Moon in Scorpio and Mars square Saturn. That means our plans might face constructive criticism, postponement, hard facts and unavoidable limitations. What reality do you need to embrace to achieve your goals? Avoid social complications and focus on healing. Be the snake shedding it’s skin. Scorpio is the sign of letting go of something you’ve outgrown, and welcoming the new you.

Tuesday, August 25th: Moon into Sagittarius. Mercury trine Uranus around 8am Pacific. Listen to any “messages” you receive from the universe. Flashes of insight can arrive suddenly! Great for eye opening writing and communication. Pay attention to developments this week, and what you’re being “called” to do, and put your energies there.

Wednesday, August 26th: Moon in Sagittarius. Moon activates the “I AM” energy with Mars, bringing us some wisdom along with it. It’s a day of motion and looking at the big picture. It’s a lighter mood if you need to express something difficult or challenging to someone.

Thursday, August 27th: Moon in Capricorn; Venus trine Neptune around 2pm Pacific. Absolutely LOVELY aspect that enhances the arts, love, friendship and visions. Be mystical today, but embrace the Capricorn Moon and get to work too. Put effort into creative ventures.

Friday, August 28th: Moon in Capricorn. The great vibes from yesterday continue. If you are a creative person, work on your projects! Time is well spent on disciplines and completing responsibilities. DO it.

Saturday, August 29th: Moon in Aquarius; Mercury trine Jupiter around 6:30am Pacific. Inspirations abound. Feel the optimism in the air today! Aquarius asks us to focus on the future, make plans, and involve our network of friends. Watch out for risky behavior though, since Uranus brings spontaneity, rebellion, and independence. Focus on expressing your unique genius.

Sunday, August 30th: Moon in Aquarius, and Venus opposite Pluto at 6:30am Pacific. Events right now feel like fate. If there’s explosiveness with relationships, try to be kind and respectful of the other person’s feelings. Obsessiveness and lust can take over our thoughts, so make great art instead. Healing and art can come from exploring dark places within us.

Week of August 10th

Hades or Pluto, God of the Underworld, Unknown artist

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 18 Leo
Mercury at 11 Cancer (weak)
Venus at 3 Cancer
Mars at 22 Aries (Rulership)
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 19 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn RETROGRADE at 27 Capricorn (rulership)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 23 Capricorn
Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong)
North Node at 26 Gemini

We’re in the dark of the Moon this week, so don’t do anything, just rest. The Moon is waning, or balsamic, until next Tuesday, August 18th when we will have a New Moon in Leo. There’s a lot roiling under the surface…

The current Sun in Leo is a wonderful time, since out brightest star has come home to his kingdom. We can let our hair down and be ourselves. The Sun symbolizes the soul and identity, and invites us to express ourselves. The background of Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter in Capricorn have changed how we do this. We can express ourselves, but we have to protect our fellow humans from the scourge of Covid19 at the same time. We need to wear masks and physically distance. The North Node in Gemini encourages us to connect online. It’s up to us to let go of our heavy worries (Pluto), welcome inspiration (Jupiter), and restructure our reality (Saturn). Leo, the sign of the heart, asks us to fall in love with ourselves and the creativity we hold inside, and share it with the world.

And then there’s all the stuff going in Aries which is INTENSE! We have Black Moon Lilith (wild feminine) joining forces with Eris (Goddess of Discord) – both hanging out with Mars (God of War). Yikes. These three are scary enough on their own, all sitting on their dark thrones at 22 Aries. They bring the absolute insistence to be ourselves, define our boundaries and fight if need be to make a point. Have you seen the violence in American cities over the past week? Stand offs and clashes between protestors and police, looters… and that horrible explosion in Beirut. These three are squaring (causing tension) with the three in Capricorn, causing the fall of old patriarchal structures, institutions, and governments (Saturn). Change is in the air.

This affects us personally too. We need to find our deep, repressed, toxic wounds and give them some air. Collectively, there is a new spotlight on the toxic wounds of slavery, racism, sexism and wealth disparity. It’s all coming up to be healed and shifted. We need to own all that we are, all that we’ve done, and all that we want to be; moving forward with justice and compassion for our fellow woman and man.

Mars square Pluto will be exact on Thursday, and will be continuing into October. This square can be violent and will turn the heat way up on simple disagreements. Be diplomatic and avoid risks. Seriously. The pandemic and rioting can increase the danger on the streets. Remember Pluto represents repressed sexuality, ambition, anger and masculinity. Lilith, Eris and Mars have the keys are letting this energy loose. Men in general, and Aries people, can get into a lot of trouble the second half of this year.

Monday, August 10th: Moon in Taurus. Authority can be stubborn today, so best to not rock the boat. However, if you want to bring stability to an issue, today is a good day to work on it.

Tuesday, August 11th: Moon in Taurus. Refocus on your needs and home life. Walk in nature, work in the garden and cook something scrumptious. Beware of overspending with online shopping.

Wednesday, August 12th: Moon into Gemini. Chatty day, good for talking, sociability and online activities. Tensions are rising though with tomorrow’s event, so don’t dig too deep.

Thursday, August 13th: Moon in Gemini. Mars, Lilith and Eris in EXACT square to Pluto. Stay in bed lol. Seriously though, lay low today and stay under the radar. This square could ignite big confrontations.

Friday, August 14th: Moon in Gemini, going into Cancer at 4:35pm Pacific. Probably the best day for reaching an understanding with others. Good movie night.

Saturday, August 15th: Moon in Cancer, Uranus RETROGRADE in Taurus. Get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Bring some compassion into your day.

Sunday, August 16th: Moon in Cancer continues… be kind to yourself and others. We are in the realm of the New Moon, so contemplate what you’d like to see happen in your life over the next month.

Week of July 27th

“Echo and Narcissus” by John William Waterhouse

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 4 Leo
Mercury at 15 Cancer (weak)
Venus at 20 Gemini (neutral)
Mars at 15 Aries (Rulership)
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 20 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn RETROGRADE at 28 Capricorn (rulership)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 23 Capricorn
Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong)
North Node at 27 Gemini

The Sun is now in Leo, the playful sign of the Summer Lion. The Sun represents the Soul, and the sign of Leo is it’s natural home. The Sun rules healing, leadership, creativity, romance, children, and our ability to shine. It’s presence in your chart indicates the most important area of your life. We’ve made it through the transformative eclipses of June/July, now we reestablish our new identities in the brightness of our star.

This week sees the start of some amazing planetary oppositions and “square offs”. Mercury (the Mind) is opposing the heavyweight planets of the “Covid point” – Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn. Then Mars (drive, strength) comes along and squares these same planets. The Saturn-Pluto conjunction that set off this year’s pandemic, social upheaval and global restructuring, will be shaken and stirred by these aspects. Astrologically, each of us is being transformed by the power of Pluto, the seriousness of Saturn, the truth of Jupiter and the heat of Mars I hope these tensions in the sky won’t translate to more violent protests here on Earth. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. If you’re going to a protest be extra careful, especially around the police.

Both collectively and individually, this is a time to face our deepest selves and to own all that we are, all that we’ve done, and all that we want to be.

Monday, July 27th: Moon in Scorpio. Mercury squares Mars today, which can bring opportunities for truth sharing and blunt opinions. With the Moon in Scorpio, it’s best to avoid “going there”. Keep things as light as you can, because folks are sensitive right now. Venus square Neptune today gives us creative and artistic opportunities, but we have to actually DO it. Daydreaming or escaping reality doesn’t count. These two aspects are influencing us all week.

Tuesday, July 28th: Moon in Scorpio. Transform and rebirth yourself. Set yourself on fire like the Phoenix, and fly high like an eagle. Scorpio is the sign of letting go of something you’ve outgrown, and welcoming the new you.

Wednesday, July 29th: Moon in Sagittarius. It’s a day of motion and looking at the big picture. It’s a lighter mood if you need to express something difficult or challenging to someone.

Thursday, June 30th: Moon into Sagittarius. Day of truth and justice. Pragmatic, honorable, and well-thought-out actions will bring progress to your ambitions. Mercury opposes Jupiter today, so commit to facts rather than fantasies.

Friday, June 31st: Moon in Capricorn. A serious tone for people seeking romance and fun. Time is better spent on completing responsibilities, cooking, resting, and getting grounded.

Saturday, August 1st: Moon in Capricorn. Get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Today the Mercury Opposition to Pluto is exact. The Moon is in the same area and could create stubbornness, inflexibility and stony silences. Journaling, meditation, online research and healing are a great use of time. It could be an evening of transformative conversations involving sex, healing, ambitions and money.

Sunday, August 2nd: Moon in Aquarius. Sun square Uranus exact. Watch out for risky behavior, since Uranus brings spontaneity, rebellion, and independence. Focus on the future, and expressing your unique genius.

Jupiter RETROGRADE at 22 Capricorn (fall, very weak)

North Node at 28 Gemini

We’re in the dark of the Moon this week, so don’t do anything, just wrap up loose ends and rest. It’s the dark of the Moon, preparing for a New Moon in Cancer NEXT Monday. Big time feminine energy this weekend as the Moon (women) transits Aries (the warrior) and conjuncts Mars (assertiveness), Chiron (healing), Lilith (wild women) and Eris (discord). Also Black Moon Lilith will be conjunct Eris this week, AND squaring Pluto in Capricorn (patriarchy). Watch for more upheaval around women’s equality and the rights of the oppressed. This week could see some bitter truths revealed with violent repercussions.

Sunday, July 12th: Mercury IS DIRECT around 1:30 AM Pacific. Mercury is standing still (stationing) in the sky all week, so things won’t be up to speed for several days. With the dark of the Moon, and Mercury stationing Direct, use this week to wrap up loose ends, organize, and rest. Start communications and negotiations next week when Mercury has gained momentum.

Monday, July 13th: Moon in Taurus. Focus on your needs and home life. Walk in nature, work in the garden and cook something scrumptious. Beware of overspending with online shopping. Romantic day.

Tuesday, July 14th: Moon in Taurus. Work with animals and take care of your possessions. Clean out the garage lol. Not the best day to seek concessions from authorities, but a great day to work on your finances. Tax day tomorrow!

Wednesday, July 15th: Moon in Taurus. Day of continuity from yesterday’s developments. Taurus moon means to be cautious, so stay away from risks or negotiation. Stabilize what is already in motion.

Thursday, June 16th: Moon into Gemini. Chatty day, good for talking, truth-telling and online activities. Mercury Direct will enhance the lovely social vibe. Save important purchases and conversations for next week.

Friday, June 17th: Moon in Gemini, going void-of-course 2:14pm Pacific. Probably the best day for reaching an understanding with others. Good date night, but wear a mask 🙂 We are in the realm of the New Moon, so contemplate what you’d like to see happen in your life over the next several months. Romantic evening.

Saturday, June 18th: Moon in Cancer. Get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Bring some compassion into your day. People are SENSITIVE this weekend, so don’t rattle the cage.

Sunday, June 19th: Moon in Cancer continues… we are in the orb of the New Moon in Cancer tomorrow, so prepare for a rebirth or new beginning. What do you want to build up or focus on over the next month? It starts now.

Week of June 15th

detail of Middle Panel, The Garden of Earthly Delights, Hieronymus Bosch

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 25 Gemini
Mercury at 15 Cancer, going RETROGRADE (weak)
Venus RETROGRADE at 7 Gemini (neutral)
Mars at 21 Pisces (weak)
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 25 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn RETROGRADE at 1 Aquarius (rulership)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 24 Capricorn
Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong)
North Node at 29 Gemini

We’re in the dark of the Moon this week, so don’t start anything just rest. We are however, moving towards some major events on Saturday, June 20th. The Sun will move into Cancer heralding the Summer Solstice! It’s the time of longest days and greatest light. The yearly astrological cycle reaches a climax this week. Whatever seed you planted at the Spring Equinox should begin to show itself.

Along with the Summer Solstice this Saturday, we have a Full Moon ECLIPSE at 0 degrees Cancer! June is the month of eclipses, and this energy is making us change. We are rebirthing ourselves, our lives, and hopefully our society, into a world that supports and values everyone. The events of June will continue to unfold over the next six months.

Mars conjunct Neptune AND the Moon over the weekend is still in effect. It’s not the happiest place for Mars, and men in particular might be struggling. Still, our energy is driven towards the collective unconscious which is currently demanding real change in the face of racial disparity. We are one people, and this needs to be acknowledged and assimilated deeply in a new way. The grief and anger is palpable, and my heart goes out to all the folks suffering right now.

Neptune is a big part of the current cultural shifts. This planet allows us to easily access intuition, mysticism, healing, Magick, art and music as part of expressing ourselves. With the North Node (destiny) in Gemini (community), we can bring healing towards our local groups and society – which I hope will happen ❤

Also, the planet Venus is part of the picture this week. The planet of Love, beauty and women is currently going through her retrograde cycle, which is commonly seen as her descent through the underworld. Venus is still near (but moving away) from her conjunction with the Sun a couple weeks ago, so we cannot see her in the skies. She is invisible to the human eye and traveling through the underworld, about to be reborn as the Morning Star on June 25th. Anything that has been denied in our lives and society is visible now and demanding acknowledgement, which can be seen in the racial injustice and new protest movement encircling the globe.

Monday, June 15th: Moon in Aries. Good day to start things, but don’t be headstrong. Moon will be squaring Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn (the Covid point), so stay out of social complications and arguments with other people.

Tuesday, June 16th: Moon in Taurus. Refocus on your needs and home life. Walk in nature, work in the garden and cook something scrumptious. Beware of overspending with online shopping.

Wednesday, June 17th: Moon in Taurus, Mercury retrograde at 15 Cancer. Day of continuity from yesterday’s developments, but with Mercury stationing retrograde, be careful around communication, negotiation and signing anything important. Taurus moon means to be cautious, so stay away from risks or negotiation. Stabilize what is already in motion.

Thursday, June 18th: Moon into Gemini at 2pm Pacific, Mercury Retrograde at 15 Cancer. Creative day focused on self-nurturing.

Friday, June 19th: Moon in Gemini. Probably the best day for reaching an understanding with others. Good date night, but wear a mask 🙂 We are in the realm of the New Moon, so contemplate what you’d like to see happen in your life over the next several months.

Saturday, June 20th: SUMMER SOLSTICE. New Moon ECLIPSE at 0 Cancer at 11:41pm. Moon in Gemini, Sun into Cancer. Today is the highpoint of the Sun, the time of greatest light and longest days. We will be full of energy and ambition today, however, Mars conjunct Neptune is exact which can confuse our efforts. Get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Bring some compassion into your day.

Sunday, June 21st: New Moon ECLIPSE in Cancer continues… be kind to yourself and others.

Week of June 8th

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 18 Gemini
Mercury at 11 Cancer (weak)
Venus RETROGRADE at 11 Gemini (neutral)
Mars at 17 Pisces (weak)
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 26 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn RETROGRADE at 1 Aquarius (rulership)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 24 Capricorn
Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong)
North Node at 29 Gemini

Last Thursday’s Full Moon ECLIPSE in Sagittarius will continue unfolding this week, AND over the next six months. We are rebirthing ourselves, our lives, and hopefully our society, into a world that supports and values everyone. On a personal level, YOU are unique, and you have a precious, singular contribution to make to the world. Just be careful out there folks, we’re still in a pandemic.

The Sun square Mars from last Saturday is still effecting us for a couple of weeks. Don’t over-focus on what other people are doing, instead put energy into YOUR goals. Controlling other people, or criticizing their reactions to the state of the world, is a waste of time. Respect the paths of other people, even if they doesn’t make sense to you. The Sun (Soul and vision) squaring Mars (action and drive) can make us restless and cranky with perceived road blocks. There’s steps each of us need to take in order to move forward right now – usually involving Saturn (discipline and hard work).

Mars is activating and energizing the sign of Pisces right now – the sign of our collective unconscious. Venus is going through her retrograde cycle, which is commonly seen as her descent through the underworld. She will be reborn soon as the Morning Star. Issues, both personal and collective, that have been repressed and denied are coming up for air now and demanding to be acknowledged.

Speaking of squares, there’s another major one happening all year: Pluto at 24 Capricorn square ERIS at 24 Aries. This aspect is rare, chaotic, and will be with us for the whole year! These two planets are the furthest away from the Sun in our solar system, and represent regeneration. Pluto brings evolution through the healing of repressed, toxic energy, and Eris brings change through discord, for the forgotten and oppressed sides of our culture. I hope things will settle down in our country, but I doubt it with this aspect in play. The best way to utilize these energies, is to make sure your side of the street is clean, and your life is organized. Have you been projecting your problems onto others? Do you owe anyone an apology?

Monday, June 8th: Moon void-of-course all day, then into Aquarius at 5:54pm Pacific. Follow routines and planned activities. Moon will be contacting Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn (the Covid point), so stay out of social complications and arguments with other people.

Tuesday, June 9th: Moon in Aquarius. Let the genius in you come out and play! People will be friendly but unemotional, so work towards forward progress. Look for positive developments in society today, since Aquarius is the sign of humanity.

Wednesday, June 10th: Moon void-of-course in Aquarius ALL DAY. Day of continuity from yesterday’s developments. A void Moon always means to lay low and follow well-laid plans. Stay away from risks or negotiation, instead stabilize what’s in progress.

Thursday, June 11th: Moon in Pisces. Creative and peaceful day. Listen to music. Sun (Soul and vision) square Neptune (dreams) is exact in the early morning. There’s some action we need to take to see the path ahead. Neptune aspects often bring fogginess and a feeling of being lost. Don’t be discouraged by this, just be creative and focus on self care.

Friday, June 12th: Moon in Pisces. Keep listening to music and focusing on creativity.

Saturday, June 13th: Moon void, then into Aries at 2:03pm Pacific. We will be full of energy and ambition today, however, Mars conjunct Neptune is exact which can confuse our efforts. Get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Bring some compassion into your day.

“Druids Cutting the Mistletoe on the Sixth Day of the Moon” by Henri Paul Motte (France, c.1900)

Sun at 5 Capricorn.
Mercury DIRECT at 0 Capricorn.
Mars at 25 Scorpio (strong) and Venus at 9 Aquarius.
Jupiter at 5 Capricorn (in it’s fall, or weakened).
Saturn at 20 Capricorn, Pluto at 22 Capricorn.
Neptune at 16 Pisces.

If you feel like you’re in an intense time of transformation, you are correct. We are being asked as individuals, and a society, to rise up to the next level of our soul consciousness. First, the Winter Solstice last week demanded we release our dead weight. It’s now Winter, and there’s a primal urge to release that which no longer serves us. It will become imperative this month as Saturn and Pluto join in a rare conjunction on January 12th at 23 degrees Capricorn. We’ve been building up to this event for months now, and it has finally arrived! These two powerful planets govern our responsibilities, maturity and evolution. The Sun has passed the Galactic Center, and is reborn into a new year. We have a new beginning within our grasp, and we are being called to operate within the Truth and mystery of our Universe. We are all stardust, and our internal universal codes are being activated on a deep level.

All of this activity is aimed squarely at Capricorns, but all of the earth signs (Taurus and Virgo) will feel the impact. Any planets you have in your chart near 23 degrees Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra are being blasted with powerful energy. You can’t ignore these life aspects now. If you’d like a reading to see how this effects you personally, you can book me here.

If all that wasn’t enough, we had an eclipse on Christmas Day in Capricorn! It was probably an intense day for many people. Eclipses tend to highlight unresolved emotions and stuck areas in our lives. We are now between eclipses, the next one showing up on January 9th in Cancer – just three days before this momentous conjunction.

Right now, Saturday, we are experiencing a Sun and Jupiter conjunction, which expands the opportunities for our soul’s vision. It’s a happy aspect, since both planets are over supplied with optimism, wealth, hope and healing. You can make some progress on important tasks today.

In general, it’s best to take things a day at a time right now, and prioritize your responsibilities. Stay present with your feelings and keep communications clear with loved ones. Take ownership of your life, work hard, and everything will go smoothly. More to come next week 🙂

Full Moon in Gemini

Nicho

Sankt Nikolaus and the Krampus

Sun at 19 Sagittarius.
Mercury is now DIRECT at 2 Sagittarius (detriment… not happy).
Mars at 14 Scorpio (strong) and Venus at 19 Capricorn (weak).
Jupiter at 1 Capricorn (in it’s fall, or weakened).
Saturn at 19 Capricorn, Pluto at 21 Capricorn.
Neptune at 15 Pisces.

Full Moon in Gemini on Wednesday, Dec. 11th at 9:12pm. The theme is LIBERATION, and it will effect everyone individually depending on where it falls in a chart. This week we are resolving dualities, and looking for the unifying energy. As we inch closer to the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in January, it’s time to get our affairs in order. A glimpse of January’s event appears this week as Venus conjuncts Saturn and Pluto. A huge shift is arriving next month; it will deliver either a sobering wake-up call, or rewards for hard work.

Jupiter entered Capricorn last week, marking a significant shift for the next year. Our desires and ambitions experience new limits or obstacles. Think back 12 years ago, and what was going on in your life. With Jupiter in Capricorn, you’ll find some of these themes repeating in your life, but in a different way. Jupiter is not happy (or in it’s fall) in Capricorn, but there are some good character-building qualities to this placement. Jupiter in Capricorn grounds us, and helps us accept the realities of personal achievement. We focus on creating solid foundations, and develop the patience for long-term ambitions to be realized. We get to work. If you want a personal reading on how this shift will affect you, schedule me here.

Wednesday, 12/11: Full Moon in Gemini at 9:12pm. Catch up with friends, take short trips, call your family and engage with your community. Messages could arrive from the universe today, so pay attention to synchronicities. Great day for writing, negotiation and expressing your genius in creative ways.

Thursday, 12/12: Moon in Cancer. And just like that we are in the realm of Crab; we withdraw into our shells and comfort zones. The power of the Full Moon is still in effect, so be sensitive to people’s feeling today. Focus on self care, and work around the house.

Friday, 12/13: Moon in Cancer. The mood might lighten a bit today, but still avoid social complications – especially in personal relationships. It’s a romantic evening though.

Saturday, 12/14: Moon void-of-course in Cancer all day. Indulgence. Allow yourself to relax, eat too much food and engage in escapism. Not much progress can be made today to go with the flow.

Sunday, 12/15: Moon in Leo. Today we bust out of the quiet, Cancerian mode and move towards matters of the heart. The emphasis today is on personal achievement and artistic expression.

Picatrix

Screen Shot 2017-04-26 at 11.27.17 AM

Picatrix is the name used today, for a 400-page book of magic and astrology originally written in Arabic under the title غاية الحكيم Ghāyat al-Ḥakīm, which most scholars assume was originally written in the middle of the 11th century,

Picatrix: an ancient manuscript that teaches how to obtain energy from the cosmos”

“Through this ancient manuscript…the reader could attract and channel the energy of the cosmos so that a certain event develops according to the will of the practitioner, zodiacal magic; which is said to help master and dominate with accuracy—through the force of the universe—nature and its surroundings.

The Picatrix is an ancient Arabian book of astrology and occult magic dating back to the 10th or 11th century, which has gained notoriety for the obscene natural of its magical recipes. The Picatrix, with its cryptic astrological descriptions and spells covering almost every conceivable wish or desire, has been translated and used by many cultures over the centuries, and continues to fascinate occult followers from around the world.

The Picatrix was originally written in Arabic, titled Ghāyat al-Ḥakīm, which translates to “The Aim of the Sage” or “The Goal of the Wise.” Eventually, the Arabic writings were translated into Spanish, and eventually into Latin in 1256 for the Castilian king Alfonso the Wise. At this time it took on the Latin title Picatrix.

The Picatrix is divided into four books:

Book I – “Of the heavens and the effects they cause through images made under them”
