March 7, 2023: Full Moon at 16 Virgo. The sign of the Virgin, which represents “being whole”, pure, and uncorrupted. It unifies our health and our work, and inspires us to live in integrity. Beware of the obsession with perfection and overthinking.
If you feel overwhelmed by this full moon, go over to the Pisces Sun on the other side of the sky for guidance. Reconnect with your spirituality, faith, and the god of your heart. Reassure yourself that you are exactly where you need to be right now, and cleanse yourself and your home.
Also today, Saturn enters Pisces. This marks a huge change in the undercurrent of our lives and society. Saturn is authority, ambition and power, and represents the institutions in our world, as well as the structures of our lives. Pisces dissolves what it touches, and erodes the stability of Saturn, so Saturn isn’t too happy in Pisces.
The best way to handle this transit is to be aware of the qualities of “sacrifice” and “surrender”. Use them to navigate the realities in your life. Surrender to discipline, to your basic needs, to the reality of who you are and what you want to accomplish. This will be a great few years to focus on bettering yourself, and supporting the growth of people around you.

There was a New Moon in Virgo on Saturday which continues to unfold this week. We are inspired to clean up our lives and get everything in order. Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the winged messenger of thought and communication. With the Sun in Virgo, our minds are at their peak and we can be decisive. The decisions you make now determine your future path. It’s always lucky to start a week in the darkness of a New Moon, and the promise of a new beginning.
Venus in Leo opposed Saturn in Aquarius on Sunday, and the energy of this aspect continues all week. It means an enormous amount of creative energy could be held back or limited by the expectations of other people. Don’t feel discouraged or negative, just be in the present. Saturn encourages us to be patient with our ideas, and give them time to grow. Practice and simplification are the two things to focus on this week.
Virgo is the High Priestess of Reality, and asks us to take care of our physical body. What can you do to support your health and be stronger? Virgo wants to analyze, discriminate and assimilate; it’s the sign of health, work, and being of service. We need to take care of ourselves and each other.
Friday, September 2nd: Moon void-of-course in Scorpio, enters Sagittarius at 3:39pm Pacific. The mood will lighten throughout the day, and tonight is all about having fun. This is a great night for parties or to see a show.
Saturday,September3rd: Moon in Sagittarius – its a day of adventure. Try something you’ve never done before, or visit a new place. Moon sextiles Saturn, so you can make some progress with challenging work or getting chores done. Sagittarian moon wants to play around and explore, so carve out time for adventures.
Sunday,September 4th: Moon in Sagittarius. Also, Venus enters Virgo around 9pm Pacific, which means Venus is officially weakened (in her Fall) for the month of September. This could be a challenging time for women, relationships and art creation. Be present with yourself and stop any self critical, perfectionist thoughts as soon as they show up. On the good side, Venus in Virgo will enhance the Sun’s influence here, increasing our interest in organizing, editing, exercising, studying and writing.

The Sun moved into Virgo on Monday, heralding the beginning of harvest season! The transition from Leo to Virgo is profound. With the Sun in Leo, we reveled in our true identity, and practiced new ways of expressing it to the world; now with Virgo we organize our lives and get to work.
Moon wise, we are in the last quarter of the Moon’s cycle, preparing for the New Moon in Virgo this Saturday the 27th. The week ahead is about wrapping things up, resolving issues, paying debts, and reflecting on our lives.
Mars entered Gemini on Saturday for the next seven months! That’s March 2023! In Gemini, Mars lets go of his armor and becomes a social butterfly, focusing on communication, solving puzzles and battles of strategy. People with anxiety might need extra support during this time, because Mars adds electricity to our nervous system. The Sun moves through the last degrees of Scorpio this week, culminating with an ECLIPSE/Full Moon THIS Thursday night at 27 Taurus. That’s a LOT of force and power, but it’s also trine to Pluto over in Capricorn. This energy encourages transformation and spiritual evolution. You are evolving, especially in the material, earthy sides of your life. Pluto doesn’t leave us a choice either – it’s something you have to do. This lunar eclipse lets you access the deepest darkest parts of your subconscious – bringing them to the light – in order to eliminate fear and heal past trauma. This Moon brings peak experiences with beauty, health, relationships, money, home, job and survival. Taurus is a money sign, and indicates prosperity and love. Since this Full Moon takes place in the last degrees of Taurus, we are completing a personal cycle of growth, and something new is about to begin. The Sun enters Sagittarius next Sunday.
The last month has been a deep dive into exploring our ambitions, healing psychological wounds and uncovering hidden agendas. There’s a bunch of big aspects this week leading up to the Eclipse, but the trickiest one is the tense and disruptive Mars in Scorpio opposing Uranus in Taurus. It started yesterday with Mercury opposing Uranus; this brings a nervous edge to communications through Tuesday. With Mars opposing Uranus, instincts are heightened and there can be sudden breathroughs. We might have revelations or anxiety, or have a strong urge towards liberation.
Monday, November 15th: Moon in Aries makes us fiesty! Sun and Moon in Mars-ruled signs gives us a driven and ambitious start to the week. We each have a direct line to our Will and can make good progress. Avoid headstrong, risky behavior, or engaging in power plays with others. Watch out for taking on more than you can handle.
Sun in Scorpio squares Jupiter in Aquarius: Look out for over-confidence and arrogance. We each need to do some boundary-setting between our emotions and the needs of our friends. Grab opportunities today and try not to overindulge in anything (Jupiter).

Moon trines Venus, accentuating the earthy, sensual, Taurus vibe, and moves on to conjunct Uranus. We are in the orb of the Full Moon tomorrow night. Any activity that awakens the five senses is highlighted. It’s a sensual full moon. Very passionate night.
Thursday, November 18th: Full Moon and ECLIPSE at 11:00pm Pacific in Taurus makes a couple of tense aspects today with Mercury and Jupiter. Mercury in Scorpio also trines Neptune in Pisces in the morning, which brings our minds and instincts into a wonderful, watery harmony. Good aspect for creativity and deep connections with others. The Full Moon brings love, beauty, passion, commitment, nature, animals, and the Divine Feminine. Avoid power struggles, control issues and obsession. Pushiness and bullying will get you nowhere. Listen to others, respect their wishes and look to the common good. Taurus wants us all to be healthy and secure.
Friday, November 19th: Moon in Gemini. We are in still in the the orb of the Full Moon, but today we are socializing and talking endlessly about it. Mind the details of your life. Venus trines Uranus in the middle of the night, bringing sudden, (hopefully positive) developments to relationships. The Moon in Gemini will help us communicate openly about our feelings.
Saturday, November 20th: Moon in Gemini continues yesterday’s conversations. Today we have Mercury in Scorpio squaring Jupiter in Aquarius, which brings a serious tone to the day. We set boundaries with friends or groups through our thinking and communications. We can find real meaning in our relationships, because Mercury in Scorpio favors deep understanding between people.
Sunday, November 21st: Moon void-of-course in Gemini all day, entering Cancer at 7:30pm Pacific. Sun into SAGITTARIUS at 6:30pm. We enter a new energy field in the fire sign of the Centaur. We begin this week with a balsamic, fallow Moon, building towards a New Moon at 16 Virgo next Monday, Labor Day, September 6th. Leading up to this New Moon, we have an opportunity to release our perfectionism, laziness, self criticism, procrastination, and cluttered houses (i.e. Sun in Virgo). We are wrapping things up, finishing projects and adjusting to new, uncertain conditions. Honestly, it’s a tough time for many people.
We are in a world of extremes, and it’s never seemed so pronounced as it does right now. The Western side of the country is on fire, while a huge, catastrophic hurricane sliced through and leveled the south. Mercury entered Libra Sunday night, which will hopefully create a way for us to listen to and help each other. This is a good position for partnerships, negotiation, and creative activity. This Venus-ruled Mercury placement can bring harmony to life. Celebrate art and love.
The Sun in Virgo is squaring the North and South Nodes of the Moon this week. Watch for sign posts directing you to your future. Mars in Virgo will oppose Neptune in Pisces, and trine Pluto in Capricorn this week, setting off the same aspect that Venus and Mercury encountered recently. Mars wants us to put our plans into ACTION.

The dark of the Moon is a time to rest and reflect. Moon trine Saturn puts our emotions in affinity with our ambitions, and smooths over any rough spots. Moon in Gemini encourages us to talk about it.
Tuesday, August 31st: Moon in Gemini goes void at 1:45pm Pacific for the rest of the day. She also makes five aspects, so ride the waves. The Moon goes through every sign, and aspects every planet EVERY month. The Moon ties the astrology together. Keep a low profile today with the void moon. Follow plans that have already been made.
Wednesday, September 1st: Moon in Cancer makes a few minor aspects. We might need solitude, since our sensitivities are at a monthly peak. Give yourself whatever you need today.
Thursday, September 2nd: Moon in Cancer loves a visit to a pool, lake, river, or ocean if you feel inclined. There’s a few Moon aspects, but the big event today is Mars opposing Neptune. We might experience resistance or disillusionment with the things we want to pursue. Mars is our Will, while Neptune blurs our vision so we can commune with the divine. Don’t give in to feeling lost today, explore your imagination and creativity instead.
Friday, September 3rd: Moon in Leo doesn’t make any aspects until a sextile with Mercury in the evening. It’s a quiet day astrologically, but the Moon in Leo insists we all have a good time. It’s a heart-filled day, so go out and have an adventure.
Saturday, September 4th: Moon in Leo. Mercury trine Saturn in the evening helps us communicate our truth. Our thinking can also get a reality check. Writers can make progress with editing and organizing their ideas. Whatever comes up, go ahead and talk about it or do some journaling. Sunday, September 5th: Moon in Leo is void-of-course from 7:22am to 4:06pm Pacific, when she enters Virgo. We are in the New Moon in Virgo now, so of course today is good for tidying up the house, running errands, and fixing anything broken. Toss stuff out and let things go – someone else can use it. The big aspect today is Venus square Pluto. Relationships could have a crisis come up that will lead to a deeper understanding, or a breaking point. If you’re single, don’t take any risks. Pluto has a dark, unpredictable energy to it, so practice restraint.

Mars joined Venus in Virgo last week, and now we’re busy organizing our lives. In Virgo, Mars lets go of his armor and becomes a specialist who makes lists and gets things done. There is amazing focus available to us right now, as well as attention to detail. Virgo wants to be of service by providing a practical way of reaching our goals, without losing track of the details (or ourselves). Avoid nit-picking arguments and being overly critical of your efforts. Mars and Venus in Virgo can be cranky and irritable.
We begin this week with a balsamic, fallow Moon, building towards a New Moon at 16 Leo next Sunday. Leading up to this New Moon, we have an opportunity to release our laziness, procrastination, and fears of the future (i.e. Sun in Leo). And Sunday was a Sabbat, the ancient festival of Lammas! Lammas is the first harvest festival of the year, signifying the height of Summer and the turn towards Fall. Here are the Goddesses and Gods of Lammas:
Demeter/Ceres: Goddess of grains and the harvest, and mother to Persephone, who is about to return to the Underworld for the Fall and Winter. The change in weather is the grief of Demeter being separated from Persephone.
Cronus/Saturn: Greek god of the harvest and the first father of the universe. He is usually portrayed with a sickle in hand, and is considered a harvest God. He had his own holiday, called the Kronia, when the Greeks celebrated the harvest. It was held in the month of Hekatombaion, with equates roughly to July/August.
Hestia/Vesta: Goddess of Fire and the Hearth, she protects the homes of her worshippers.
Lugh: This is the Celtic God that gave Lammas, or Lughnasadh, it’s name! Lugh is the god of light, truth, oaths and the arts. Tradition says that Lugh created the festival of Lughnasadh in honor of his foster mother and earth goddess, Tailtiu.
Renenutet: Egyptian goddess of nourishment, the harvest, and fertility. Also goddess of the soul’s true name. Sometimes considered the wife of Sobek.
Sobek: Egyptian crocodile god, he was also the god of the Nile. In Egypt, the flooding of the Nile is the primary source of essential nutrients and minerals to the fields, so if the Nile does not flood or has a poor flood in a given year, it can cause a bad harvest. Sobek would be important around this time of year, as the people would want to thank him for a good harvest. Also a protective god and a creator god.
Monday, August 2nd: Moon in Gemini makes a couple of tough squares with Jupiter and Mars. There’s also a big Saturn influence over the beginning of the week due to the Sun’s opposition with Saturn in the middle of the night. Today could be kinda tough, with all of us needing to come up with the hard, cold facts. With the Moon in Gemini, we will find the way through this with our quick minds and communications.
Tuesday, August 3rd: Moon in Gemini makes four nice aspects today – taking the edge off Mercury squaring Uranus in the early evening. This aspect can bring sudden changes and nervous energy. Conversations could take unexpected turns, and it might be difficult to reach understanding through the drama. Leave it for tomorrow. On the bright side, we had a revolutionary Venus trine Uranus in the middle of the night which can enhance our imaginations and relationships.
Wednesday, August 4th: Moon in Gemini goes void at 12:38pm, then moves into Cancer around 2:15pm Pacific. Bring on the hugs and food lol. Moon trines Jupiter around the same time, adding to the feelings of indulgence. Sun trine Chiron today brings lovely opportunities for healing to our old wounds, or healing through children.
Thursday, August 5th: Moon in Cancer sextiles Mars and Uranus, but other than that it’s a quiet day. We are in the darkest phase of the monthly moon cycle, preparing for rebirth this Sunday. Lots of old feelings and issues could be coming up, so we can release them. The Cancerian Moon loves a visit to a pool, lake, river, or the ocean.
Friday, August 6th: Moon in Cancer goes void of course at 3:12pm Pacific, and makes a couple nice aspects with Venus and Neptune. There’s an opposition with Pluto in the late afternoon which can bring up control issues. Then we have a biggie – Sun square Uranus – which can bring up that nervous, dramatic behavior. Take a different approach to issues from earlier in the week. Embrace liberation and independence.
Saturday, August 7th: Moon in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius today. We get a glimpse into the underlying tensions of 2021, so be present for what occurs today. Pay attention, the Universe is sending you messages. Also, walk carefully around people’s feelings, because Moon opposing Saturn can bring negativity, pessimism or reality checks. The New Moon is tomorrow morning!
Sunday, August 8th: New Moon in Leo at 6:50am Pacific squares Uranus. Today is fabulous for Sun Magick, since this New Moon occurs on a Sunday. It’s a rare event, allowing magicians to fully access the enormous power of the Sun. Just Do It! Today is the rebirth of creativity, romance, and all things artistic. Tarot card of the day is Strength – tame your inner lion with compassion and patience.

On Saturday, March 20, the Sun entered Aries and we had the Spring Equinox (equal day equal night). With the Sun freshly in Aries, we begin a brand new astrological year! 2020 is officially over, and we have a new start in life. This week, the Moon is in her 2nd quarter, and we are building to a Full Moon on Sunday, March 28th. This Moon represents the culmination of what’s been building up in March.
The Full Moon in Libra is symbolized by The Scales, and usually appears around the Spring Equinox. The Sun in Aries symbolizes the “self” and individuality, and it’s opposite, Libra, represents balance, fairness, relationships, equality and justice. Libra is the sign where we have to deal with Other People, so all of our relationships and partnerships will be highlighted this week. We will all be hammering out new, balanced agreements in our partnerships.
The Sun will be in a conjunction with Venus and Chiron on this Full Moon too, healing our deepest wound. The Sun wants to advance, so with Venus and Chiron involved, we shine brighter as we undertake our soul’s purpose. Self love can be understood on a new level. Also, Mars will conjunct the North Node, giving new fuel to our future direction and plans. The Sun and Venus will move through the sky together in Aries for the next two weeks.
Venus just entered Aries on Sunday. She’s only there once every 18 months, so Aries people will have lovely, harmonious and sociable birthdays this year. Since Venus rules Taurus and Libra, these signs are starting a new cycle though the zodiac. Anyone born in those signs will experience an even stronger rebirth then the rest of us.
Also on Sunday, Mars trine Saturn was exact. Anything requiring discipline, physicality or structure can get a huge boost from this aspect. Go to the gym and start regular exercise this week. Cancer is the sign of the home, so it’s good day to relax, declutter, and cook a special meal. People will be sensitive, so no big conversations until tomorrow.
Wednesday, March 24th: Moon in Leo. Stand out and be seen! Seek concessions from authority. We are also under the influence of Mars in exact square to Mercury, so be careful of aggresiveness and thoughtlessness in your communications. Think things through CAREFULLY before speaking your truth.
Thursday, March 25th: Moon void-of-course in Leo ALL DAY! Let your creative side out to play. The Sun and Venus conjunct in the middle of the night, bringing positive feelings and expansiveness to beauty, romance and art.
Friday, March 26th: Moon in Virgo and Sun conjunct Venus. Things will be fuzzy and undefined thanks to Mercury (Virgo’s ruler) floundering through his detriment in Pisces. Use your intuition instead. Great evening for a walk under the Full Moon with someone you love… or someone you want to get to know.
Saturday, March 27th: Moon void-of-course in Virgo at 4:48pm Pacific, and stays void all evening. Avoid pettiness, pickiness and over analysis. A Full Moon in Virgo is symbolized by a virgin. Virgo is the High Priestess with a sword. She’s a woman that stands alone because she can take care of herself. She has the wisdom to use her sword (her mind) in an accurate and efficient way that creates a practical, forward path. It’s full moon week, and we will experience the culmination of what’s been building up in February. We are also on the Sun in Pisces/Full Moon in Virgo axis, which means we are healing. Virgo heals the body and Pisces heals the soul.
However, we STILL have five planets in Aquarius! Saturn and Jupiter will be there for awhile, but Mercury and Venus are moving fast and Venus will be in Pisces this week. Saturn in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus all year long. This square represents a subtle, deep tension between your old patterns, and who you are becoming. The first exact one happened last week. Interesting that Aquarius rules electricity, Taurus is land and resources, and we had a huge power outage in Texas last week with people freezing in their homes. I was so sad to see this happen.
Saturn is the planet of karma, and this is a time of sowing and reaping. You might be aware that you have a fresh, new version of yourself waiting in the wings. It’s waiting to manifest, you just need to embrace it and own it, when you’re ready. Your new self will appear in the houses of your chart that are ruled by Aquarius or Taurus, and will be unfolding this year. I can feel it happening in my own life.
Monday, February 22nd: The Moon in Cancer starts the week off in a sensitive, sweet and emotional place. This moon wants to be introverted and secure, so honor whatever feelings are coming up today. Let your emotions guide you. Neptune will also move to 20 Pisces which adds to the watery, intuitive vibe. Try not to future-trip.
Tuesday, February 23rd: Moon in Cancer continues. You can’t think your way through things right now, you have to FEEL your way to find the path. Cancer is the sign of the home, so it’s good day to relax, declutter, and cook a special meal. People will be sensitive, so no big conversations until tomorrow.
Wednesday, February 24th: Moon in Leo. Stand out and be seen! Seek concessions from authority. We are in the orb of the Full Moon so things could start getting intense or extreme, especially with Mars trining Pluto today too. This aspect can fire up tempers so practice caution in unstable situations.
Thursday, February 25th: Moon in Leo and Venus enters Pisces! Venus is exalted in Pisces so it’s a great time for romance. Let your creative side out to play. Venus also rules friendships, money, women, art and relationships. All of these things get a nice boost over the next few weeks so make the most of it.
Friday, February 26th: Moon in Virgo all day, but doesn’t go full until the middle of the night. The full moon will oppose Venus newly in Pisces in the middle of the day. Things will sharpen up and become very clear, thanks to Virgo enhanced by Mercury Direct. Great evening for a walk under the Full Moon with someone you love… or someone you want to get to know.
Saturday, February 27th: Full Moon in Virgo happens in the middle of the night at 12:15am, but it’s in effect all weekend. Avoid pettiness, pickiness and over analysis. Meditation is a great way to focus the mind and manage any anxiety around this moon. Clean and reorganize your house!

Tonight, Sunday, December 20th, 2020 is Winter Solstice eve. It is the longest night of the year. Tomorrow morning at dawn, 7:21am Pacific, the Sun rises on the new year. This is because the days grow longer from this point on until the climax at the longest day on June 21st, 2021. Important to think about what you’d like to “grow” in the New Year. Christmas tree lights symbolize finding hope in times of darkness.
That’s the main undercurrent of what’s happening right now: REBIRTH. There’s also the Great Conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter at 0 Aquarius, which is a huge event. lt underlines this rebirth of the Sun. Saturn has been in Capricorn, it’s natural home, for the last 2.5 years, exposing materialism, lack of integrity, and the misuse of power. With Saturn’s entrance into Aquarius, our society will be completely transformed, perhaps leaning towards the promised utopia of Aquarius.
We’re already experiencing some of this shift in the form of lockdowns – Saturn limiting our social (Aquarius) connections. Also, working remotely (Saturn) online (Aquarius).
There’s also aspects happening that are resetting us for 2021:
Mercury conjunct the Sun (combust) at 0 Capricorn.
Pluto at 23 Capricorn exactly square Mars (which is conjunct Eris at 23 Aries).
Week starts with the Moon at 23 Pisces.
The Saturn/Jupiter conjunction enters a square to Uranus in Taurus, and it will be in effect through 2022.
These squares between these specific planets can bring fighting and conflict, so be cautious in the world.
Monday, December 21st: Moon void in Pisces, into Aries at 2:32pm Pacific. WINTER SOLSTICE. Sun enters Capricorn at 2am Pacific. This morning’s sunrise sees the rebirth of the Sun. This is one of the most magical days of the year. Immerse yourself in the wonderful, fresh energies alive in the air today. The Sky King (Jupiter) spreads his wings (Aquarius) and escapes the Earth (Capricorn). All of the cooped-up, earthbound energy of the last two years is shaken off, and we have a new path before us of freedom.
Tuesday, December 22nd: Moon in Aries adds to the feeling of rebirth! Put plans into action, but be aware people won’t be all that patient, or listen well. Drive cautiously.
Wednesday, December23rd: Moon in Aries, but void-of-course at 2:51pm Pacific. Try to avoid signing anything or having important conversations during a void Moon. This is a volatile day, since the Moon conjuncts Mars and Black Moon Lilith, and Mars square Pluto is exact. Tests might come up around your identity. The best use of this energy is setting boundaries where needed, but watch out for irritation and anger. Today begins the final squares of Mars/Eris to Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter. Tempers will be testy through February 2021. Be cautious driving.
Thursday, December24th: Christmas Eve. Moon in Taurus. Things slow waaaay down today and we indulge in sensual delights. Although you may be stuck at home and away from your families this year, get yourself an excellent dinner. Taurus loves food.
Friday, December25th: Christmas Day. Moon in Taurus. Slow, quiet day. Any activity that awakens the five senses is highlighted. Get outside today and appreciate nature.
Saturday, December26th: Moon void-of-course at the end of Taurus all day, and then into Gemini at 3:33pm Pacific. Energy picks up as the Moon trines the lovely Saturn/Jupiter conjunction in Aquarius, so expect some communication or insight into your future path.
Sunday, December27th: Moon in Gemini. Very chatty day full of socializing and online purchases. We are two days from a Full Moon in Cancer, so walk cautiously around people’s feelings.
