We are in the dark of the Moon starting Thursday, so just take it easy and rest. The Moon is waning until Thursday, February 11th, when we have a New Moon in Aquarius.

The week begins with the Sun entering the middle degrees of Aquarius, and Mercury standing still over our heads. Mercury stationed retrograde last Saturday, and won’t move forward until February 20th. During this time just do what you’ve always done, but avoid big purchases, signing major agreements or beginning new projects. It’s best to rework or reassess what has already begun. I like this time because it’s when the truth comes about things that have been hidden or confusing, so embrace it.

The Sun and Jupiter are still conjunct this week but separating. This is the annual connection between the two luckiest, happiest planetary bodies in our solar system. It’s a good week to attract luck and expand the activities you want to grow.

Mars and Black Moon Lilith are still hanging out together at 11 Taurus, which effectively helps us set boundaries where needed. These two are still in a tight square with Saturn in Aquarius, which gives us sovereignty and focus in our personal lives, and new directions to the collective. We saw this playing out last week with the traders from r/WallStreetBets toying with GameStop (and others) and then having a showdown with Wall Street. These squares between these two planets will also manifest as a push and pull between old world ideas, and the advancements of the technological age.

Remember, in 2021 we begin to lay the foundation for a new way forward, and the key is deciding on personal direction. Neptune in Pisces is also squaring the North Node of the Moon in Gemini all year, asking us to access intuition for finding this new path. You can’t think your way into it, you have to use your gut instincts.

Monday, February 1st: Moon in Libra, Venus into Aquarius and Mars squares the Sun. Venus in Aquarius brings liberation and independence to our relationships. Unorthodox agreements could be considered over the next few weeks. With Venus and Mercury retrograde here, our minds become electrified by possibilities, ideas and expanding consciousness. Avoid battles and anger with Mars being activated.

Tuesday, February 2nd: Moon in Libra brings a need for balance, fairness and justice. If an issue in your life feels out of control or unjust, gently take action today. Libra wants you to use tact, and maneuver towards win-win situations.

Wednesday, February 3rd: Moon in Scorpio squares the outer planets in Aquarius AND opposes Uranus. People could be challenged and moody, so take it easy on others. Watch for power plays… people will be stubborn.

Thursday, February 4th: Moon in Scorpio. If you feel like withdrawing and having some time to yourself that’s fine. Nurture yourself and keep the focus on your life. Moon enters the 4th quarter, and we are in a balsamic Moon until next Thursday. You have permission to rest and watch movies.

Friday, February 5th: Moon in Sagittarius. Some lovely aspects today with the Moon, so enjoy the creativity of the day. Put energy towards your goals, or set some goals if you don’t have any 🙂 Lots of shifts regarding Venus (love) this weekend, so be aware.

Saturday, February 6th: Moon in Sagittarius. Go on outside adventures if possible! Venus conjunct Saturn at 5 Aquarius brings a serious tone to romantic connections. Is this relationship practical? Does it have the solid foundation needed to continue long term? Venus squares Uranus later in the day, so there might be a pull towards independence or the unconventional.

Sunday, February 7th: Moon in Capricorn. No big aspects today – try not to sink into pessimism with the Moon in this hard place. Use the energy to get out into the garden and do some hard work.

This week is the culmination of the energy that’s been building in January. The undercurrent of the month is our individual identities, and how we fit into the new paradigm of our transformed society. We consider our options. If you are a Capricorn or Cancerian, the changes over the last year have been massive. With this Thursday’s Full Moon in Leo, we open up and unveil our new selves to the world.

We have six major planets scattered over Capricorn and Aquarius right now. Both of these signs are traditionally ruled by Saturn, which brings a reality check to all of our plans. If you are implementing a new idea or strategy, and the foundation is unstable, the cracks should appear in the next few weeks. That gives you some time to dial things in. With the serious vibe from Saturn, we need to recheck our plans and bolt things down, in order to establish absolute certainty in ourselves and our actions. This is why Saturn energy is SO fantastic, and necessary!

Conversely, the Full Moon in Leo on Thursday is a celebration of our journey on this planet. We lead with our heart, and pursue relationships and activities that make us feel alive. This Full Moon will deliver action.

Monday, January 25th: Moon in Cancer. This week starts off with a serious tone from the Sun-Saturn conjunction last Saturday. This aspect encouraged us to make some hard decisions, and to discipline ourselves in critical ways. The Moon in Cancer wants us to be introverted, so relax and connect with what you’re feeling today. Let your emotions guide you. If you need some solitude, let yourself have some peace.

Tuesday, January 26th: Moon in Cancer and Sun squares Uranus. Cancer is the sign of the home, so it’s good day to relax, declutter, and cook a special meal. People will be sensitive, so no big conversations until Thursday if possible. Sun squaring Uranus means a sudden, positive, change or revelation appears and send us down a different path – one much more liberating.

Wednesday, January 27th: Moon void-of-course in Cancer all day until 6:54pm Pacific. Be gentle… Easy Does It. Creativity, nostalgia, food, and emotional release are good uses of this energy. Moon in Leo comes in the evening and we are in the orb of the Full Moon. Conditions are great to negotiate with others. Also performances, music, art are boosted for the next three days. You can finally get the perfect selfie.

Thursday, January 28th: Full Moon at 9 Leo at 11:16am Pacific. The mood changes and we become fiesty, upbeat, and attention-seeking. Great evening to see first rate performances of all kinds. With the Sun, Saturn and Jupiter opposite the Moon, the pandemic is still in full force, so celebrate from home. Also today, Venus conjuncts Pluto which can lead to powerplays or showdowns in relationships. Relationships can go through a rebirth or an ending, it depends on what is needed for your soul’s evolution.

Friday, January 29th: Moon in Leo. You’ll wake up in a great mood from the Sun conjuncting Jupiter last night. Be your authentic self today! Also, Mercury slows down to a complete stop in the skies above the East Coast. Wrap up any important conversations because Mercury retrograde starts tomorrow.

Saturday, January 30th: Moon in Virgo and Mercury retrograde begins, lasting until Feb 21st. Avoid major purchases or starting new projects during this time. Instead, finish things you’ve started and allow quiet time for contemplation. Some confusion could arise in the areas of government and technology.

Sunday, January 31st: Moon in Virgo. Now we clean up after the Full Moon in Leo party and get organized. We turned a spiritual corner last week, now we want to put things in motion, in alignment with our integrity.

The Moon is waxing and growing bigger each day. We had a fresh start last Wednesday with the New Moon in Capricorn, which represents ambition, discipline and commitment. There’s a lot of intensity right now, since this New Moon saw the Sun (our Soul’s Light) and Moon (emotions) cross the dark lord Pluto (reformation) last week. This is the area of the sky that influenced the massive changes in 2020. When the Sun crosses this point, it puts our souls in alignment with the upheaval from last year, so we can find our forward path.

The Sun goes into Aquarius this Tuesday, and conjuncts Saturn right away. This brings a serious tone to the month ahead. This week we explore prioritizing ourselves before other people. Commit to what works best for you.

Uranus (new, different approaches) is still stationary Direct at 6 Taurus (resources, money), which means surprises and shocking events can arise suddenly. With Uranus we step outside of the normal, and outside of ourselves, to get a bigger view of the world. Uranus helps us individuate, and to express our genius. Uranus in Taurus shakes up our values, and helps us to release what doesn’t work for us anymore. It can also shake up our resources, causing us to rethink how we make money. Maybe a new career is in order.

Mars at 4 Taurus is creeping towards a conjunction with Uranus on Wednesday’s Inauguration Day. These two powerhouses, joined together, increases the potential for rebellion and violence. I’m glad measures have been taken to protect people. If you have any planets near 6 degrees Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius, they will be massively activated this week. I can look this up for you with an astrology reading, which you can book here.

Jupiter at 6 Aquarius will be in a perfect square to Uranus at 6 Taurus for several weeks. We shake up our value system and elevate our social circle at the same time. We could all experience higher self esteem from this aspect, which opens us to self love. Taurus is the sign of Love. The last time this happened was June 2010, so you can get an idea of how this aspect will effect you if you look back to that time.

Monday, January 18th: Moon in Aries, and Sun in the last degrees of Capricorn. We are doing a deeper integration of the huge changes from last year. We have achieved a new grounding, and the path forward is (hopefully) clearer. We walk forward with a new structure and begin to envision a new life plan. Watch out for head strong behavior and forcing solutions. Courageous, empowered day.

Tuesday, January 19th: Moon in Aries and Sun enters Aquarius! Fresh energy today and a feeling of rebirth. Saturn near the Sun asks us to work hard and commit to our plans. Moon in Aries means the people around us won’t be patient, or listen well, so do you. Drive cautiously.

Wednesday, January 20th: Moon void-of-course in Aries, then into Taurus at 10:56am Pacific. Sun at 0 Aquarius. We start a new zodiacal season, and the focus turns towards the future and our social circles. Mars in exact conjunction with Uranus at 6 Taurus. Stay home if you can because this is a volatile day. This aspect often brings violence or sudden uprisings. The best use of this energy is setting boundaries where needed.

Thursday, January 21st: Moon in Taurus. Things slow waaaay down and we indulge in sensual delights. We become aware of our personal levels of self esteem and self love. Do you love yourself? Truly? Treating yourself like a precious jewel will make you strong. Moon conjuncts Mars and Uranus, connecting us emotionally to yesterday’s events.

Friday, January 22nd: Moon in Taurus, then void at 1:28pm Pacific. No big moves, purchases or agreements after 1:28pm. Be cautious and practice restraint. Otherwise a slow, quiet day. Any activity that awakens the five senses is highlighted. We look at where we need to be and what we need to do with our time. Where’s the best place for you right now, and who is the best company?

Saturday, January 23rd: Moon in Gemini all day. Chatty and social. Mars squares Jupiter asking us to turn a corner regarding our courage, identity, truth or boundaries. Moon trines Saturn, then Jupiter, bringing communication or insight to your future. Sun conjunct Saturn in Aquarius can bring responsibility and work to our evening.

Sunday, January 24th: Moon in Gemini. Sun conjunct Saturn is still in effect so there might be some heaviness. Try to stay chatty, with a day full of socializing and online games.

This is not a week to take risks. The Sun is currently in the Capricorn-part of the heavens called “the Covid point”. It’s where the momentous conjunctions happened last year that heralded the pandemic. This will be an intense week with the Sun crossing Pluto, and consequently squaring Mars and Uranus. This means situations and information will arise that underline our evolution, and where to place our focus. A New Moon in Capricorn occurs this Wednesday too!

Uranus is standing still over our heads all week, preparing to go Direct in Taurus on Thursday. On top of that, Uranus will be making several trines and conjunctions with all the planets at the end of Capricorn and beginning of Aquarius. There will be many flashes of insight and messages from the Universe this week, so try to be well rested and observant. Aquarius (ruled by Uranus) is a huge part of the astrological fabric of 2021, and with the Moon, Saturn and Jupiter there, it’s a potent time for signals.

Monday, January 11th: Moon in Capricorn, and Mercury conjunct Jupiter in the early morning. This gives a great vibe to the beginning of our week. Our minds are expanded with new ideas, and conversations lead to better understanding between people. All things are possible today, so don’t hesitate to take action on anything. Clearing the air and speaking your truth should go very well.

Tuesday, January 12th: Moon in Capricorn, and Mercury squares Uranus in Taurus. We’re in the realm of the New Moon, so watch for flashes of insight. There could be sudden surprises today, so be open to quick changes – especially around work, health and home. Capricorn brings a serious, focused and ambitious mood. Ground yourself through working hard, especially on things you’ve been avoiding. Focus on the goal.

Wednesday, January 13th: New Moon in Capricorn, going into Aquarius at 8:44am. Both of these signs are ruled by Saturn, so a serious mood colors the day. Whatever you begin today will have a VERY solid start. Conversely, new projects could be hard to get off the ground. There’s a flurry of aspects today too – eight total! So pay attention to any revelations you receive from the Universe.

Thursday, January 14th: Moon void-of-course ALL DAY in Aquarius. Good to lay low and pursue plans already set in motion. Uranus direct in Taurus at 12:36am brings electricity and a strong urge for independence to the energy of the New Moon. Avoid big purchases or spontaneous actions. People will be friendly but slightly detached, so it’s a good day for communications of all kinds. Focus on what your mind tells you rather than your heart and let your creative genius out to play.

Friday, January 15th: Moon is sill void-of-course in Aquarius, and enters Pisces at 2:17pm. If you need to have meetings or work through agreements, do it in the afternoon – although defining things could be difficult. The Pisces Moon lets us slow down, and focuses us on nurturing our souls. Music, creativity and solitude are the best practices today.

Saturday, January 16th: Moon in Pisces, with harmonious sextiles to Mars, Uranus and Venus. Yesterday’s mood for solitude and communing with the divine continues. Creative genius is easily accessible.

Sunday, January 17th: Moon in Pisces conjuncts Neptune. Boundaries are hard to define and it’s easy to feel a little lost as the path forward disappears under our feet. Also, Jupiter square Uranus is exact, and Mars conjuncts Uranus tomorrow, Jan 20th. This is an especially powerful pair of squares, with potential for violence. Stay home, and swim around your intuitions, ideas and creativity. If you are near a body of water, today is good for a visit.

Astrology of 2021

We have made it through some of the most challenging planetary aspects in recent memory. 2020 was overseen by Pluto, the great reformer, and Saturn, the karmic planet of limitation – both super charged by Mars and expanded by Jupiter. We’ve had to face our fears about injustice, powerlessness, loss, isolation and scarcity. None of us will ever be the same.

A new world opens up to us in 2021. There are challenges ahead, but a different tone. Saturn in Aquarius is a MUCH lighter transit, however it does point to the continuation of the pandemic and limitations on socializing. The planetary influence of 2021 will be Saturn in Aquarius squaring Uranus in Taurus, which presents an interesting duality between progress and caution.

It’s close to being a mutual reception, when two planets are in each others’ ruling signs. Saturn (responsibility and discipline) has a lot in common with Taurus (practicality and slow growth). Uranus (revolution) is the ruler of Aquarius (liberation, revelation). In the coming year, we begin to rebuild, but in a new way. Aquarius demands equal rights and the liberation and unification of humanity, but with Saturn in charge the changes will come slowly. The best way to walk through this year is to be patient, stay in the present moment, and simplify your life.

Aquarius, the revolutionary youth, will have to make peace with the old guard to bring everyone into the future. The old guard is on notice though, and is no longer in charge. The last time Jupiter was in Aquarius was in 2009, and Saturn’s last transit of Aquarius was in 1992. Look back to these years to know what 2021 might have in store for you.

With the Moon’s nodes (future, destiny) touring through Gemini and Sagittarius, the collective consciousness is changing what we believe and the way we think and write laws. Neptune in Pisces, squaring these nodes all year, insists we use intuition and visionary insight to find the path forward.

Thanks to those of you who followed my reports this year! I’m wishing you good luck and clarity in 2021 🙂

Saturn-Jupiter: The Great Conjunction

We’ve entered a new era. Saturn entered the sign of Aquarius last Thursday, which means a huge shift (and fresh start) for the next couple of years. The last conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius was January 7, 1405. That was 615 years ago. 1405 was one of the world’s great beginnings, births, and rebirths. This year though, is more significant due to the Great Conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter at 0° Aquarius – which is happening right now. Jupiter greatly magnifies Saturn, and Aquarius rules The Future and humanity. This year, we will hopefully be shown the way forward after the upheaval, destruction and death in 2020. We will get a new “plan”, and start to rebuild our lives in 2021. This conjunction means we’ve officially turned a corner.

There’s so much to this aspect, so let’s take it piece by piece:

1, First off, 0° of ANY sign represents it’s strongest expression, and this conjunction is at 0° Aquarius; so Aquarian ideals are at the forefront. These are liberation, democracy, invention, humanity, the public, independence, the future, genius, revolution and community groups.
Aquarius is like an eccentric pilanthropist that wants to better mankind.
…like the visions of a shaman that show how to lead the people.
It’s a sudden bolt of revelation out of nowhere.
It is definitely people protesting in the streets.

2. A Jupiter-Saturn conjunction occurs once every 20 years, so the last time this happened was the year 2000. We are at the beginning of a new cycle!

3. Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions occur every 20 years, BUT they belong to 200 year elemental cycles. Since 1802, all of these conjunction have occurred in Earth signs, and the one tonight is occuring in an Air sign (Aquarius), starting off another 200 year cycle in Air signs! We will see huge technological advances, hopefully less wars, more collaboration, and increases in global trade, over the next 200 years. A boost will be evident in the fields of information technology, science, outer space and sociology. The energy will shift from Earth (consumerism, material values, hierarchies)

4. The thing about this conjunction too, is that these two planets are seen as opposites. Saturn: responsibility, karma, pessimism, reality, concentration, discipline, maturity, and hard work.
Jupiter: joy, wealth, good luck, idealism, expansion, optimism, the benevolent King.
How do we make sense of these two powerful planets joining together? They will influence each other:
Jupiter will expand laws, boundaries,

A powerful New Moon occurred Monday, just after sunrise on the West Coast.
The Sun (Soul), Moon (emotions), Mercury (mind) and the South Node (the past), are all exact at 23 Sagittarius, which gives us a total Solar Eclipse. This is an opportunity for a final release from the major shedding of 2020. This eclipse heralds the closing of a chapter, and the start of something new. Since it’s occurring in Sagittarius, this new path has a lot to do with our beliefs, aspirations, and the Big Picture of our lives.

It’s interesting that we’re wrapping up the year in the sign of Sagittarius, which represents our beliefs and personal truths, and we haven’t known WHAT to believe this year. Until our society reaches stability again, it’s up to us to do the work, research facts, and find the truth. This New Moon solar eclipse tomorrow morning, is occurring with the south node (the past), which represents us releasing and moving past an old story we have about ourselves and the world. Sagittarius is The Archer, so aim, pull your arrow back, and let it fly!

There’s also the momentous conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn at 0 Aquarius on Dec. 21st – the Winter Solstice! Many people are calling it the “Great Conjunction,” because it will form one huge, bright star in the sky. The truth is, it’s already happening and you can see it now, it just becomes exact on Dec. 21st. This is another aspect that puts an end to 2020 and starts us on a new path, and it’s influencing this whole month.

Monday, December 14th: Total Solar Eclipse/New Moon at 23 Sagittarius at 8:17am Pacific, THEN the moon goes void-of-course ALL DAY until 7:35pm Pacific! Eek! Avoid risk-taking, negotiation or big purchases during a void-of-course Moon. There’s going to be intensity today, but the energy is towards a rebirth. Today is a powerful new beginning for any corner of your life. Whatever is started this week will probably develop over the next six months, but the initiating spark is now. Spend some time outside to clear your mind. Excellent day to read philosophy, or spend your energy on being wildly romantic or creative 🙂

Tuesday, December 15th: Moon in Capricorn, Venus into Sagittarius and Chiron direct. The solar eclipse is still in effect, but Capricorn brings a serious, focused and ambitious mood. You can probably put plans in motion today. Ground yourself through working hard, especially on things you’ve been avoiding. Focus on the goal. Chiron direct brings fresh energy towards healing.

Wednesday, December 16th: Moon in Capricorn, and Saturn into Aquarius in the evening, which brings a new, airy energy into our lives. This ingress into Aquarius will heavily influence 2021 – for the better. Moon approaches the “Big three” in Capricorn i.e. Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn. Heaviness can result and you may not feel like doing a lot, which is fine. Do not demand anything from authority figures today because they will be resistant. Capricorn also brings certainty.

Thursday, December 17th: Moon in Aquarius. There could be some flashes of the future today, so watch for signs. Aquarius is a huge part of the astrological fabric of 2021, and with the Moon, Saturn and soon Jupiter arriving there it’s a potent time for signals. People will be friendly but slightly detached, so it’s a good day for communications of all kinds. Focus on what your mind tells you rather than your heart. Let your creative genius out to play.

Friday, December 18th: Moon in Aquarius. Sun joins the Galactic Center today, so it’s easier to communicate with the universe, and the God of your heart. If you need to have meetings or work through agreements, do it in the morning. Remember to focus on balance and win-win resolutions.

Saturday, December 19th: Moon in Pisces and Jupiter into Aquarius. This is a real, positive change for Jupiter! The planet is moving out of Capricorn and it’s detriment and becomes electrified in the sign of the Water Bearer. Expansion, philosophy, truth, justice and honor are much more available to all of us!

Sunday, December 20th: Moon in Pisces and Mercury into Capricorn. Swim around your intuitions, ideas and creativity. With Mercury in Capricorn for the next month, it’s a great time for artists and writers to get organized, study, and work hard. Enjoy the day.

Saturday was Lughnasadh, the first harvest festival of the year. It’s a Gaelic festival that was observed in ancient times by jumping over bonfires, athletic contests, community festivals, huge feasts and celebrations of the abundance of the Earth i.e. the cornucopia. It still widely celebrated throughout Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England, and is always held on August 1st. This is the midpoint between the Summer Solstice (June 21st) and Autumn Equinox (Sept. 22nd). You can read more here. Basically, whatever seeds you planted around the Spring Equinox of this year (March 20th) will start to bear fruit now. This can be a figurative harvest too, if you look at what you’re reaping in your life right now.

Lughnasadh, “LĂșnasa” Modern Irish) LĂčnastal (Scottish Gaelic) August 1st: Beginning of the harvest season, and offering of First Fruits.

We begin this week with the Full Moon at 11 Aquarius, which symbolizes liberty, community, invention, rebellion, and the desire for something new. This Full moon and Sun form a perfect square with Uranus in Taurus, which is Aquarius’s ruler. Uranus brings sudden change, liberation, radical ideas and shocking events. We might struggle more with the limits we are currently living with, as well as the avoidance of people. The Full Moon in Aquarius is a turning point, and often reveals visions, the truth, or hidden realities. Be open to revelations this week.

Monday, August 3rd: Full Moon in Aquarius. Express your genius and your gifts. No one else in the world can share your unique energy, so it’s up to you. People are friendly, and progress can be made in communications. With an Aquarius Moon, video chat with your friends or community. Mercury opposition Pluto is exact. This can be heavy, and can lead to pessimism, anxiety and depression. Practice mindfulness today and avoid heavy conversations.

Tuesday, August 4th: Moon void-of-course in Aquarius until 7:30pm Pacific. A void Moon always means to follow previously established plans. Stay away from risks and stabilize what’s in progress. Think about the future. With an Aquarius Moon, it’s good to “detach and observe” rather than bursting out emotionally. Mars square Jupiter is exact, amplifying Mars square Pluto. Case numbers and deaths could elevate significantly. If you’re protesting be very careful of the virus AND the police.

Wednesday, August 5th: Moon in Pisces. Follow your intuition, go with the flow, and make time for solitude. Mercury went into Leo last night, so folks could become passionate and stubborn over the next few weeks. Focus on creativity, writing and music.

Thursday, August 6th: Moon in Pisces. Meditate and contemplate. Music and spirituality soothe the soul and ignite our imaginations.

Friday, August 7th: Moon In Pisces. Creative and peaceful day. Venus enters Cancer, which brings us closer to food, home and family. For writers and artists, imagination is enhanced and we can capture emotions in art. Jupiter sextile Neptune is a beautiful influence on our creativity, and we might produce something special and unique.

Saturday, August 8th: Moon in Aries. We will be full of energy and ambition today, but get yourself grounded before undertaking anything. Lots of energy for socializing, adventures, creativity, and beginning new projects.

Sunday, August 9th: Moon in Aries. We are still feeling energetic and good progress can be made in the morning and afternoon. Moon enters Taurus in the evening, bringing our attention to the coziness of home. Nice evening to cook and be around loved ones. Mercury trine Chiron is exact today and can bring new ideas surrounding our emotional wounds and how to heal them.

Mercury RETROGRADE at 7 Cancer (weak)
Venus at 7 Gemini (neutral)

This week begins in the orb of the Full Moon Eclipse at 13 Capricorn. This is the last of a series of three eclipses over the past month, and is a culmination of what’s been building up in our lives since January. The events unfolding this week are both a reflection and an amplification of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction from January 12th of this year. That was the astrological event that heralded the appearance of Covid19, and the rebuilding of the entire world.

Get comfortable in your home (Cancer Sun), because we will be in lockdown all year (Saturn/Capricorn). It’s just the way it is, so the sooner you can accept this and plan for it, the better off you will be. I only look six months ahead, and I know we will be in lockdown through December at a minimum. Saturn and Pluto always bring about a reordering of society, and we are seeing it happen before our eyes. The entire world’s infrastructure is being rebuilt.

Also, Jupiter and Pluto will be circling around each other all year, and are still in the conjunction they had last Monday. Is it a coincidence that Covid cases began spiking again this week? Nope. Throughout history this conjunction brings an expansion of what has been repressed in our society i.e. racial injustice, wealth disparity and the destruction of nature (which brought us this pandemic).

This was the second of their three conjunctions this year; the last one will be on November 12, 2020. These three Jupiter-Pluto conjunctions start a new 38-year cycle around transformation and evolution. Each of these three conjunctions gives us an opportunity to release things we’ve outgrown as we continue down our evolutionary path.

When we release situations that aren’t attuned to us, we create space for what will. In April we started the purging of our lives, this month we do the actual clearing, and with the conjunction in November we’ll be ready to full commit to our new found lives. These next few months we clarify our plans for the new beginnings taking place in our lives. Release things holding you back. Clear out the old and outworn. Let go of baggage you no longer want to carry.

Meanwhile, Mars in Aries is accelerating and empowering our individual metamorphoses, and driving each of us to evolve, whether we’re ready of not. Your inner warrior is energized now. Go in the direction the Universe is pointing out to you, and put time, work, and energy towards that path.

Reconnect with yourself and be confident, hardy, ambitious, healthy, courageous, inspired, renewed, certain and dynamic! You have all of these qualities within you.

Take action on things that make you irritated, agitated, fearful, resentful, outraged and fed up.

Is there something happening that’s been pissing you off for months? Now is the time to own those feelings and take action. As Martha Beck says, anger is “the psychological equivalent of the immune system”; it’s a healthy and appropriate response to the presence of injustice. It’s time to right the wrongs, and use your emotions to move forward in your life.

Monday, July 6th: Moon in Aquarius. Events are still unfolding from the Full Moon Eclipse, so take things a step at a time. Express your genius and your gifts. No one else in the world can share your unique energy, so it’s up to you. People will be friendly, and progress can be made in communications. With an Aquarius Moon, visit your friends or community.

Tuesday, July 7th: Moon void-of-course in Aquarius all day ALL DAY!! A void Moon always means to lay low and follow well-laid plans. Stay away from risks or negotiation, instead stabilize what’s in progress. It’s a day of thinking about the future. With an Aquarius Moon, it’s always good to practice “detaching and observing” rather than bursting out emotionally.

Wednesday, July 8th: Moon into Pisces at 11:13am Pacific. Follow your intuition and go with the flow. Make some time for solitude. Mercury retrograde in Cancer squares Mars in Aries today, so avoid disruptions in the home. Advocate for yourself and hold your boundaries, but don’t pick a fight.

Thursday, July 9th: Moon in Pisces. Meditate and contemplate.

Friday, July 10th: Moon In Pisces. Creative and peaceful day.

Saturday, July 11th: Moon in Aries. We will be full of energy and ambition today, get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Bring some compassion into your day.

Last Thursday’s Full Moon ECLIPSE in Sagittarius will continue unfolding this week, AND over the next six months. We are rebirthing ourselves, our lives, and hopefully our society, into a world that supports and values everyone. On a personal level, YOU are unique, and you have a precious, singular contribution to make to the world. Just be careful out there folks, we’re still in a pandemic.

The Sun square Mars from last Saturday is still effecting us for a couple of weeks. Don’t over-focus on what other people are doing, instead put energy into YOUR goals. Controlling other people, or criticizing their reactions to the state of the world, is a waste of time. Respect the paths of other people, even if they doesn’t make sense to you. The Sun (Soul and vision) squaring Mars (action and drive) can make us restless and cranky with perceived road blocks. There’s steps each of us need to take in order to move forward right now – usually involving Saturn (discipline and hard work).

Mars is activating and energizing the sign of Pisces right now – the sign of our collective unconscious. Venus is going through her retrograde cycle, which is commonly seen as her descent through the underworld. She will be reborn soon as the Morning Star. Issues, both personal and collective, that have been repressed and denied are coming up for air now and demanding to be acknowledged.

Speaking of squares, there’s another major one happening all year: Pluto at 24 Capricorn square ERIS at 24 Aries. This aspect is rare, chaotic, and will be with us for the whole year! These two planets are the furthest away from the Sun in our solar system, and represent regeneration. Pluto brings evolution through the healing of repressed, toxic energy, and Eris brings change through discord, for the forgotten and oppressed sides of our culture. I hope things will settle down in our country, but I doubt it with this aspect in play. The best way to utilize these energies, is to make sure your side of the street is clean, and your life is organized. Have you been projecting your problems onto others? Do you owe anyone an apology?

Monday, June 8th: Moon void-of-course all day, then into Aquarius at 5:54pm Pacific. Follow routines and planned activities. Moon will be contacting Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn (the Covid point), so stay out of social complications and arguments with other people.

Tuesday, June 9th: Moon in Aquarius. Let the genius in you come out and play! People will be friendly but unemotional, so work towards forward progress. Look for positive developments in society today, since Aquarius is the sign of humanity.

Wednesday, June 10th: Moon void-of-course in Aquarius ALL DAY. Day of continuity from yesterday’s developments. A void Moon always means to lay low and follow well-laid plans. Stay away from risks or negotiation, instead stabilize what’s in progress.

Thursday, June 11th: Moon in Pisces. Creative and peaceful day. Listen to music. Sun (Soul and vision) square Neptune (dreams) is exact in the early morning. There’s some action we need to take to see the path ahead. Neptune aspects often bring fogginess and a feeling of being lost. Don’t be discouraged by this, just be creative and focus on self care.

Friday, June 12th: Moon in Pisces. Keep listening to music and focusing on creativity.

Saturday, June 13th: Moon void, then into Aries at 2:03pm Pacific. We will be full of energy and ambition today, however, Mars conjunct Neptune is exact which can confuse our efforts. Get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Bring some compassion into your day.
