Each of us is a unique person, and our uniqueness wants to shine. We begin this week with the New Moon at 5 Leo that occurred Thursday, and continues to unfold this week. Begin new projects involving creativity and self expression. Leo is the most powerful of all zodiac signs, because it is the only one ruled by the Sun. Now we get to play around, be childlike, explore beauty, be romantic, goof off, create art and be physical. It symbolizes our souls, and their EXPRESSION; it’s a week to roar like a lion.

Monday and Tuesday we had the exact conjunction of Mars, the North Node of the Moon, AND Uranus, which symbolizes a HUGE breakthrough. This hasn’t happened in at least 84 years, and will create a pivotal moment for each of us. Its about birthing your IDEAL SELF: who you want to be, who you think you are – the BEST version of yourself. Uranus is visionary, the North Node is our future, and Mars gives us drive and ambition. This is happening in the sign of Taurus, which is self sufficient, independent, grounded, fertile, sensuous, and luxurious. Expect a new vision of life ahead that creates stability and awakens the senses.

Some astrologers are worried this could mean Uranus causing drama and issues regarding the supply chain, land ownership, crops, cattle, and money. Let’s hope it’s more on the visionary side of things. If you have any planets near 19 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius, this is a HUGE moment for you that could send you in another direction. Thursday, August 4th: Moon in Scorpio and Mercury freshly in Virgo. Our minds are at their sharpest for the next few weeks. It’s the perfect time to make some solid decisions. Friday, August 5th: Moon in Scorpio enters her 2nd quarter. The Scorpio Moon also opposes all the craziness with Mars and Uranus on the other side of the sky in Taurus. The best way to handle it? Roll up our sleeves and get to work. We will be driven today, and can make solid progress where we focus our attention. Keep the other person’s perspective in mind before taking action.

This week the Moon is waxing (growing bigger). We had a New Moon in Cancer last week, which is the Moon’s natural home, and one of the most personal signs of the zodiac. Cancer symbolizes our deep, emotional, inner worlds – the parts we don’t let everyone see – along with our homes and security. The focus is on our personal circumstances, emotional needs and true feelings. The sign of Cancer is created from the primordial waters that gestate and nurture new life, and healing the inner child is paramount.

The New Moon last Tuesday is really powerful BECAUSE it’s so personal. This is our roots, where we come from, our relationships with our mothers, our genes, DNA, psychological traumas, etc. It’s our annual chance to start anew with healing ourselves and refreshing the foundation of our lives BASED on this self healing. When we do this healing, we’re able to let more love and friendship into our lives. More reality. We become happier and deeply fulfilled. It’s a really big deal. Also, look at where you’ve taken on the attitudes and opinions of people around you – sometimes without being aware of where the feelings are coming from.

Thursday, July 7th: Moon in Libra goes void at 6:00pm Pacific, then trines Saturn and squares Pluto. These aspects can bring an edge to yesterday’s developments. The best way through it, is to focus, concentrate, and work hard. Also take an objective view of your evolution and see if there’s a more efficient path.

We begin this week on the cusp of a New Moon at 7 Cancer on Tuesday. The eclipses are behind us, and it’s interesting to notice where our lives and attitudes have changed over the Spring. We have an opportunity to release things that don’t fit into our new, emotional way of being (i.e. Sun in Cancer) right now. The New Moon in Cancer is the sweetest, most sensitive moon of the year, however this one is exactly conjunct Black Moon Lilith, so there’s an edge of assertiveness, power, and demand of equality.

Neptune stations retrograde in the middle of the night on Monday/Tuesday, enhancing the watery, intuitive, fertile nature of the New Moon. Neptune can add confusion, a sense of the surreal, wild dreams, and a desire to escape your life. You have to walk through it, just surrender to any feelings coming up this week. Neptune also rules propaganda and fantasies, so don’t believe everything you see or hear.

The last time Neptune was in this part of the sky was 1865. Think of everything that has happened since then! We had The Civil War, which is scary considering how divided our country is nowadays. Slavery was outlawed, although we still haven’t achieved true equality. Theosophy and Western Hermeticism came into existence. The art world exploded with the groundbreaking talents of Picasso, van Gogh, Monet, Matisse, and Gauguin. We had the birth of psychology with Freud and Jung. Plus the domination of photography, television, cinema, technology and the internet. Fascinating to think what might be ahead of us.

Also this week, Mars in Aries is marching resolutely to his square with Pluto in Capricorn on Friday. This is a tense and volatile aspect that brings aggression and violence. It raises anger, and brings drama, struggles with authority, and ego battles. There’s an urgent need for change. If we’ve been stuck in power struggles with someone, it is plainly obvious this week. This can cause more flare ups between people in our divided world, so be careful out there.

Tuesday, June 28th: Moon in Cancer, New Moon at 7:52pm Pacific. Neptune in Pisces stations retrograde at 1:00am, adding to the watery, creative atmosphere. The tarot card for today is the Ace of Cups; we are emotionally reborn. Visit a pool, lake, river, or ocean. The imagination can be stronger than usual with this new moon. Creativity is heightened, and artists and musicians have breakthroughs. Time to start new projects! With the sensitive Cancer Moon, choose your words wisely. Celebrate your home life, animals, and your “new” chosen family of friends.

This aspect is about coming home to our physical body… coming home to a sense of comfort. Taurus is about becoming self sufficient.

Wednesday, June 22nd: Moon in Aries and Venus into Gemini. This is an energetic combination that adds fuel to the fire of yesterday’s rebirth. We become more sociable, intellectual, and light hearted. Venus in Gemini is related to The Lovers card in the tarot. The next few weeks is a great time for recommitting to relationships.

This week the Moon is waxing (growing bigger) each day, building up to a Full Moon in Sagittarius next Tuesday, June 14th. The Sun moves through the last degrees of Gemini, entering Cancer on the SUMMER SOLSTICE, Tuesday, June 21st.

Saturn (discipline, responsibility) hangs over this week. The planet of Karma is stopped in the sky since turning retrograde yesterday, June 4th. This brings added gravity to the week ahead. This planet grinds us down, turns us into something useful, and makes us take care of things we’ve been avoiding. Between now and October, Saturn is asking you to reflect on the structures and limitations of your life – are they serving you?  What changes can you make, especially regarding your future (Saturn in Aquarius)?

Saturn represents our stability, and brings up themes around structure, time, karma, and authority. Saturn rules Aquarius, so this retrograde brings up battles between progressive and traditional elements. Aquarius represents our need to evolve on both a collective and personal level. Focus on solidifying the foundations of your life; it’s the perfect time to question your way of living and working.

Monday, June 6th: Moon in Virgo trines Venus and Mars bringing harmony between the sexes. This is a great way to start the week. We are feeling kind, loving, and inspired. Virgo Moon means organize, exercise and clear the clutter.

Tuesday, June 7th: Moon in Virgo enters her 2nd quarter. No major aspects, just the Moon squaring the Sun, and then trining Uranus over in Taurus. This can bring volatility in the stock market and surprises (good ones) at work. The house cleaning continues… there’s some big aspects coming in a few days, so don’t let the heavy Saturn energy weigh you down.

Wednesday, June 8th: Moon in Libra brings the balance today. Hopefully we’re feeling more centered after the Moon in Virgo/Saturn station vibe of the last two days. The Libra Moon opposes Jupiter and Mars in Aries, so watch for an upsurge in emotion that could bring conflict with people around you. Most of us want to connect with like-minded friends.

Thursday, June 9th: Moon in Libra trines the Sun today. Good for communication, traveling and negotiating. Gemini season is the month to talk, write, play, socialize and travel. If you have studies or writing to do, now is the time! There’s electricity in the air for the next few days.

Friday, June 10th: Moon goes void in Libra at 10:36am, then into Scorpio at 3:41pm Pacific. The Scorpio Moon adds a serious edge to the evening. Be aware of your surroundings and stay safe. Venus is already in a conjunction with Uranus, which brings unexpected, shocking events to social situations, and the Moon is unable to express herself in Scorpio. Emotions could be bottled up and explode. On top of that, Mercury trines Pluto at 2:21 pm. This can bring transformative conversations to relationships.

Saturday, June 11th: Moon in Scorpio, and Venus conjuncts Uranus in Taurus at 3:58pm. You might hear from people you haven’t spoken to in a long time. This aspect is also great for accessing artistic genius and revolutionary creativity. Focus on people and situations that inspire you, but watch for sudden changes in moods too.

Sunday, June 12th: Moon in Scorpio moves into Sagittarius at 3:30pm Pacific. The mood is much lighter today, and we explore adventures and fun. We are also under the influence of the Full Moon coming Tuesday, which will shift our inner truths and life perspective.

We begin this week with a New Moon at 10 Gemini on Monday! Watch for the dawn, and a beautiful sunrise. Every New Moon is a new beginning, and this one brings a change in attitude. The urge to get out and socialize will be strong, but a square with Saturn asks us to keep our boundaries and practice self discipline too. This New Moon is great for activities requiring mental fortitude – studying, analysis, meditation and organization are all highlighted this week. Focus on simplifying your life.

Mercury has stopped still in the skies, preparing to go Direct on Friday, while Saturn has also stopped still, preparing to go retrograde on Saturday. They are also in a square for the next two weeks. At the same time, Retrograde Mercury is trining Pluto, so there’s a serious and transformational vibe. There could be struggles, tests, limitations, and issues with timing, especially around communication. Be thoughtful and speak sincerely.

Pluto will move into Aquarius on March 23, 2023, so this is the last year of Pluto in Capricorn! It will go back into Capricorn until Nov 19, 2024 when it will spend over a decade in Aquarius. My hope is that the themes of Aquarius – humanity, liberation, genius and forward thinking – will make a positive change with the problems in our society.

Monday, May 30th: New Moon at 10 Gemini in the pre dawn hours brings new options into our live. We are drawn to sociability, sharing and TALKING, however Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, is currently retrograde. We are redoing things, renegotiating agreements. The truth could come out today.

Tuesday, May 31st: Moon in Gemini goes void-of-course at 1:10pm Pacific for the rest of the day, so do important stuff in the morning. Moon trines Saturn in the evening which can bring heavy conversations. We have no problem working hard on projects that require mental effort.

Wednesday, June 1st: Moon in Cancer conjuncts Black Moon Lilith, so solitude is favored. Take time out today and focus on nurturing yourself. Your needs come first.

Thursday, June 2nd: Moon in Cancer on a Thursday is auspicious! There are no other aspects, and it’s a quiet day with the lovely Cancerian energy. Home life and domestic activities are the best use of this Moon, and with Mercury and Saturn stationing, organization gets a boost.

Friday, June 3rd: Moon Cancer moves into Leo at 11:38am, and everyone wants the limelight. Give yourself some love. When the Moon moves from Cancer to Leo, egos can be VERY sensitive, so step carefully around people’s feelings today. Mercury goes Direct at 26 Taurus early in the morning, but will take several days to pick up speed. Living in the present, in a mindful way, is the best way forward.

Saturday, June 4th: Moon in Leo opposes Saturn, and emotions might get heavy. Saturn turns stationary retrograde in the middle of the night. Things can appear unstable, but don’t worry just take action on what you have control over. We are going back over ground we’ve already covered, so it’s an opportunity to recheck your foundation and steps.

Sunday, June 5th: Moon in Leo goes void at 4:12pm Pacific, and opposes Saturn in the evening. This can exacerbate the issues of this week. No other aspects. It’s a great evening to see performances, attend parties or art gatherings.

We are experiencing a wonderful astrological portrait right now. The planet Venus (Love) is exalted and moving Direct in her happiest place – Pisces. On top of that it’s Beltane, the high point of Spring! We are still in the orb of the New Moon Eclipse in Taurus yesterday (the sign of Love, commitment and Spring), and there were several lovely conjunctions between the most romantic benefics in the sky – Jupiter, Venus and Neptune. It’s a great week to make progress in Art, Love, design, pleasure, and appreciation of beauty.

Venus enters Aries tomorrow, which signals her fresh new cycle around the Sun. There’s a feeling of rebirth in the air. Then the Sun meets up with Uranus at 14 Taurus on Thursday. This is the last week before Mercury turns retrograde on May 10th, so if you have any important actions to take – now is the time. The Moon is waxing, and for these two weeks we are between two eclipses. It’s a powerful time for change and new beginnings.

The Sun in Taurus brings our attention to our resources – on EARNED prosperity. It’s the sign of sensuality, luxury, indulgence, and places where you feel at home. Mars currently in Pisces directs us towards our intuition, and Pluto, stationary retrograde, asks us to review and release anything that stands in the way of our personal evolution.

Wednesday, May 4th:  Moon in Gemini goes void at 1:37pm, then enters Cancer at 4:05pm Pacific. When the Moon is void-of-course, avoid risks and focus on what’s in front of you. The Moon conjuncts Lilith at 0 Cancer, which brings even more confidence to women. Mars sextiles Uranus too, which can clear the air in relationships, but also cause energy fluctuations. Listen to your inner voice.

Thursday, May 5th: Moon in Cancer. Take time out to nurture yourself! With the sensitive Cancer Moon, choose your words wisely and respect peoples’ boundaries. Sun conjunct Uranus today at 14 Taurus. This aspect inspires us express our genius and change paths if needed. Liberate yourself, break free and release outworn patterns. Expect disruptions and revelations.

Friday, May 6th: Indulgent Moon in Cancer. Home projects continue. Moon trine Neptune in the evening brings a desire to escape into movies or video games, but books are better for your brain.

Saturday, May 7th: Moon in Leo trines Venus newly in Aries. Women in particular can bring the information and healing you need to move past inner obstacles. The Moon and Venus are meeting at 1 degree Leo/Aries, which means anything in your chart around 1 degree is getting activated this weekend.

Full Moon at 28 Virgo, this Thursday after midnight. This Moon brings organization and assimilation. I view Virgo as the sign of the High Priestess, inspiring us to own our power, and live in our authenticity. With Virgo we get REAL and accept what life has given us. The problem though, is Virgo’s ruler Mercury is currently wallowing in Pisces. He’s unable to express himself there, and his quickness gets watered down with dreams and intuition. So yeah, there may not be a lot of clarity this week. It’s a balance between taking care of business and trusting our intuition.

And as a reminder, ALL the planets are Direct now! You can make real progress with this forward motion. The Moon, however, is opposing almost every planet this week, so emotionally we are running a gauntlet of different relationships and situations.

The Moon’s North Node is exactly trining the Full Moon, so our forward path becomes clear and easy. The Moon trines the North Node (the future), so a new story is revealed in the houses that contain Taurus and Scorpio. There are choices to make today, so focus on what you’d like to create in your life. The past will be showing up at 27 Scorpio, and the future at 27 Taurus.

Monday, March 14th: Moon in Leo all day, and no exact aspects. Great day to explore imagination, creativity, or to spend time with animals. Leo is great for leadership, joy, performance, self-expression and FUN.

Wednesday, March 16th: Moon in Virgo all day. The Moon is exactly opposing most of the other planets, since Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune and the Sun are all in Pisces. Remember, the huge energy in Pisces has been asking – what is your dream? What is your current vision for yourself and what would you like to see happen? Virgo is great for manifestation, so this week’s Full Moon could bring some solid opportunities for each of us.

Thursday, March 17th: Moon in Virgo. The Moon opposes Jupiter and trines Venus, which could bring some positive relationship developments that release blocks. Follow the tried-and-true path and manage health and wellness. With the Virgo Moon you’ll want to clean and organize your surroundings, which always helps to clear the mind.

Friday, March 18th: Full Moon in Virgo at 12:18am, then into Libra in the predawn hours. This is a culmination of things we started last September, and an opportunity for forward motion. Since this Full Moon is trining Pluto in Capricorn, we know what we want in relation to the big changes in the world. Avoid self-criticism.

Saturday, March 19th: Moon in Libra makes this a day of rebalancing. Do what you need to do to care of yourself and others. Today, we finally tend to things we haven’t been able to get to this week. Spend time with people that inspire you! Moon in Libra trines the Venus/Mars conjunction which brings connection in relationships.

Sunday, March 20th: SUN ENTERS ARIES at 8:33am Pacific heralding the coming of Spring. It’s the beginning of the astrological year! For the next month we celebrate new beginnings and plant the seeds we’d like to grow this year. Moon in Scorpio all day makes this a day of regeneration and Magick.

Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s romantic to have a passionate Full Moon in Leo shining for us this week. This Moon enhances creativity, and shines a strong light, allowing us to see NEW things. Jupiter sextile Uranus also happens today, giving a wonderful boost to Aquarius, Sagittarius, Taurus and Pisces people.

Friday, February 18th: SUN ENTERS PISCES at 8:43am Pacific. It’s the beginning of a new astrological month, however the Sun in Pisces represents the end of the astrological year. This month is when we reflect on 2021, wrap up loose ends, and explore intuition, imagination and emotions. Moon in Virgo goes void-of-course at 3:20pm, then into Libra at 7:51pm.

Saturday, February 19th: Moon in Libra all day = more romance. Each of us regains our balance from the extreme events of this week. Spend time with people that inspire you and take care of things you’ve been avoiding.

Sunday, February 20th: Moon in Libra squares the Venus/Mars conjunction and could cause some relationship issues. The Moon continues on to square the Mercury/Pluto conjunction in the middle of the night, giving a chance for rebirth through communication.
