Full Moon in Libra

We’re still under the effect of Saturday’s romantic full moon in Libra. Anything started last October 2017 is reaching a culmination this week. The foundations of all our partnerships are up for review, and we are seeing if they have the inherent stability to last through the Spring.

But the strongest vibe is coming from the Saturn – Mars conjunction in Capricorn occurring today. This happens every two years – but this is the first time it’s happened in the sign of Capricorn for several decades. These two drive our ambitions and fan the fires of hard work. This conjunction today inspires us to a begin a new story for our lives. Where do you need to work harder? It’s a new start where we can create the discipline and drive to reach a new level of achievement. Today we get real and TAKE COMMAND.

Mars and Saturn together want us to make something of ourselves. Get real, bust your illusions and explore your limits.

From Ronnie Pontiac:

“Monday Mars conjunct Saturn is exact and quite strong all week. This can be a very frustrating and irritating aspect. Limitations, the past, older folks, authority figures, scarcity and the other troop of Saturn themes can cause anger, exhaustion, criticism, depression and pessimism. Better to use this energy for hard work, for refining goals, for learning things that can improve your activities.

The Mercury retrograde and Saturn themes continue on Wednesday as Mercury square Mars is exact and Thursday about an hour and a half after midnight when Mercury square Saturn is exact. Both of these aspects can make this a quarrelsome week. Resist the urge to argue about things that you can’t change. Try not to be sharp with others because you’re bugged by some problem you can’t yet solve. These are good aspects for editing , for learning, and for teaching, but you may have to drag yourself up each step at first.

Saturday Venus trine Saturn is exact a wonderful aspect for art and romance but in a restrained, calm way. Learn from beauty. Let harmony inspire you to organize your life. Set boundaries in relationships. Meditation can provide pleasant experiences. A good time for exercise and wholesome nutrition on all levels.

Next Sunday the dead of the moon begins and with Mercury still retrograde it’s not a good time for starting new ventures. Use this week to get some rest, you’ll be needing energy for April.

April 14 Jupiter sextile Pluto and Mars sextile Neptune are exact, war and hostility can expand rapidly but so can opportunity and optimism. April 15 Mercury turns direct. April 17 Saturn is stationary retrograde giving the month a heavy Saturn flavor. Keep it simple. Learn well. Get extra rest. April 18th sun conjunct Uranus is exact providing some surprises and excitement, hopefully greater freedom as well, and Chiron leaves Pisces to enter Aries (see my most recent astrological note on my profile for more about that). April 22 on Earth Day Pluto turns stationary retrograde. This promises to be a very impactful Earth Day, power will be displayed.

With Saturn and Pluto so influential this month meditation is your friend. Current events are going to become even more exhausting and frustrating. As individuals we’ll be facing the hard lessons of Saturn and the painful healing that Pluto brings. For best results with Saturn streamline, be frugal with energy and resources, study the facts, accept weakness and strengthen it with practice, know your limitations. For best results with Pluto look for areas requiring repair and reform, look for the common good, surrender what cannot belong to your future.”

Happy New Year!

Full Moon in Cancer: 6:24pm Pacific.

Uranus Direct in Aries: 6:13pm, January 2nd.

Happy New Year! You can stay home, recuperate, and watch movies today, but Uranus is stationing above us about to turn forward (Direct) in Aries. Expect revelations, sudden changes, insight and awakening.

The influence of the Full Moon and Uranus creates a turning point for many of us at the beginning of 2018. We will have more support for sticking to our resolutions.

Full Moon in Aries

Full Moon in Aries at 9:23pm Pacific, Saturday, October 15th.

The Full Moon was exact last night, but we are experiencing the effect today, Monday and Tuesday. It’s a VERY powerful Full Moon because it’s in a conjunction with Uranus (revolution, truth, rebellion and “shaking things up”).

This will be a dramatic week. The Full Moon will set off more disruptions and drama on the world stage. The last debate takes place this Wednesday – the same day as a conjunction (combining) between Mars (energy, war, men) and Pluto (toxic purification). Should be interesting! Mars and Pluto both rule Scorpio which is Clinton’s sign, so she should be able to ride the wave. Trump will have women coming out of the woodwork to challenge him, and his supporters will stay resolute.

This is a good week to take things a step at a time and be cautious in social interactions. Creativity is highly enhanced, especially if it goes outside of social norms. This is a week for the revolutionary, unconventional, rebellious genius to fully express herself or himself. Expect revelations regarding your life and personal belief systems. Do something physical; push yourself at the gym or exercise in nature. If you have some great truth to impart to someone, I would wait until next week.

The rest of October is about radical transformation, on a personal and social level.

Full Moon in Sagittarius

The Path, by Reginald W. Machell

“The Path” by Reginald W. Machell

Full Moon in Sagittarius occurred at 4:02am Pacific today, and we all got a glimpse (or a big jolt) about our future path. The ruler of Sagittarius is the huge planet Jupiter – ruler of optimism, expansion, joviality, luck and money. This week it’s conjunct the North Node of the Moon which symbolizes The Future. Whenever the North Node is involved, our destiny appears. What insights did you receive today? What showed up in your life? This is your personal message about your path.

This Full Moon is intensified by Saturn in Sagittarius square to Neptune in Pisces. It was exact three days ago and impacts the energy of this moon. This is our dream meeting practical reality – and it can be painful. Saturn comes along, rips off our rose colored glasses and tests us on our personal beliefs. Saturn in Sagittarius is our truth and belief appearing as a wake up call. We are each starting a new phase in our lives.

New Moon in Gemini

freespirit

New Moon today at 14 Gemini, 8:00pm Pacific.

Get ready for a talkative weekend. Socializing, public speaking, problem solving are all highlighted. The place where Gemini appears in your chart is where you are a genius! So get out there, be creative and express yourself.

Venus (beauty, love) is conjunct this New Moon, enhancing the socializing vibe and giving us an open window to exchange ideas with our mates. We can share our thoughts without risk of it erupting into emotional fireworks, but Saturn in opposition can bring some weight to the conversation.

This New Moon is part of a Grand Cross in the mutable signs:

14 Gemini: Sun, Moon and Venus
12 Pisces: Neptune
13 Sagittarius: Saturn
14 Virgo: Jupiter (with the North Node nearby)

Yes a Grand Cross indicates tension – but only as a platform to new growth. Saturn is the only tough planet involved here, and he just wants us to make decisions based in reality. Nothing wrong with that! Romance and love are absolutely highlighted now and for the next couple of weeks. Mostly, it’s a great time to meet new people and embody the Gemini social butterfly.

Full Moon in Sagittarius

Full Moon in Sagittarius, May 21st, 2016, 2:14pm Pacific.
This Full Moon is conjunct Mars Retrograde in Sagittarius. Ordinarily this brings impatience and temper tantrums, but Sag’s ruler Jupiter is currently in Virgo – giving us some restraint, maturity and focus on self care.

Sagittarius is the sign of the Centaur, Archer, Wild Horse and Wounded Healer. What are you aiming at? This full moon is about reviewing the goals you set for yourself at the Spring Equinox, March 21st. Or write some goals down on paper. It’s good to maintain focus with all the wild energy flying around this year. I bet the Preakness will be an exciting race on Saturday! Horse energy rules.

The Sun entered Gemini today at 7:36am Pacific. Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury, which is currently motionless in the skies above us; preparing to turn Direct on Sunday the 22nd at 6:20am. Stay away from making big commitments or purchases – wait for next week when Mercury is moving forward again. The month of May has been slow moving with Mercury and Mars retrograding together. We’ve had to retrace our steps to be certain our dreams have a solid foundation. This will start turning around now!

May 20th Sun enters Gemini
May 21st Full Moon 1 Sagittarius
May 22nd Mercury Direct at 14 Taurus, Sun conjunct Mars
May 24th Venus enters Gemini
May 26th Jupiter square Saturn
May 27th Retro Mars enters Scorpio

Full Moon in Virgo

Afternoon

Jean-Joseph-Benjamin Constant (1845–1902), Afternoon Langour

10:20am Pacific today. Focus on the DETAILS of EVERYTHING. Give your OCD full expression – today is perfect for it. Feel free to analyze everything  (but leave the obsession out of it). The Sun/Neptune in Pisces are on one side of the sky, opposing a beautiful Full Virgo Moon on the other. Make your dreams real. Pisces dreams and has a technicolor imagination, while Virgo is practical as heck and can make a PLAN to accomplish your vision. Set some goals today and make a plan to manifest them. Virgo isn’t afraid to do the WORK and research necessary to achieve a goal.

If you are caught in an unstable situation today it will become glaringly obvious. That’s what Full Moons do, they bring things to extremes. If a relationship, job or situation is unsustainable, you will see the damaged underpinnings today. Don’t be afraid to take action and again, CREATE a PLAN. Have those difficult conversations. Also a great day to begin a new health plan, particularly around exercising and losing weight as the Moon will be shrinking for the next two weeks, and you can shrink along with it 🙂

Happy Full Moon!
