We had a life changing Full Moon Halloween on Saturday! Did you feel the intensity? It was an eye-opener, with the Full Moon conjunct Uranus at 8 Taurus – which also means the Sun and Uranus were in exact opposition. This is liberation, the desire to do something different, alongside revelations about how you want to live in the future. Whatever unresolved issues have been hanging around for the last two years, Saturday’s Moon gave you the needed clarity and answers. The power of this Full Moon will continue to unfold this week.

Also, the Sun traveling through the tunnels of Scorpio gives us opportunities to define our boundaries – especially the internal ones. Can you hold the line if your Will is tested? Can you push away that extra cookie? If someone asks you to do something that goes against your heart and experience, will you let them cross your boundary? Scorpio wants you to define what you’ll put up with and what you won’t – and to mean it. The Universe is asking us to be real, and get honest with ourselves this month. This ties in to the greater purpose of the year 2020 as we go through the “Great Awakening” – we are each healing our relationship with ourselves.

Are your actions and goals in alignment with your true and highest self?

As for the election, it is inextricably tied to the unearthing of America’s shadow, as our country approaches it’s Pluto return. All the repressed, toxic energy under the surface of the United States is coming up to be purged and healed. I see the toxic underbelly as racism, gender discrimination, and the disparities between the rich and the poor. The forgotten people, the mentally ill, the incarcerated… all need to be acknowledged and treated with maturity and vision. Rampant greed must be checked and the welfare of all people made the priority. On Tuesday either we will have a new president, or we will have another four years with a man who represents this shadow side. Try and remember that the Big Picture is really about the US confronting and dealing with it’s shadow side.

Monday, November 2nd: Moon in Gemini. Mercury is Gemini’s ruler, and is currently standing still over our heads at 26 Libra. Mercury goes Direct on Tuesday at 9:50am Pacific. If you have important agreements to hammer out with people, aim to do it anytime after Wednesday. We will see huge amounts of information today and tomorrow as Mercury stations – be sure and research facts.

Tuesday, November 3rd: Moon in Gemini, Mercury Direct at 9:50am Pacific. This is going to be a crazy day with hearsay and different, conflicting currents of information. Stay grounded, and try to stay off the roads if possible. Electronics might experience hiccups. This will be a crazy day in the news, and things will not be as they appear to be at first. Take heart. Why oh why do we have an election while Mercury stations Direct… I don’t know.

Wednesday, November 4th: Moon VOC in Gemini until 1:45pm Pacific. This is the day to stay inside if possible. The Cancer Moon in the evening will bring emotions and sensitivity to the Mercury Direct instability. If there’s going to be protesting over the election, it will likely start tonight.

Thursday, November 5th: Moon in Cancer is part of a big Water trine today. Moon in Cancer trines Sun in Scorpio, and they both trine Neptune in Pisces. It’s a deliciously creative day, so let poetic, artistic inspirations flow. Psychic intuitiveness runs high, and romance is in the air. People will be sensitive today, so allow for people’s feelings.

Friday, November 6th: Moon in Cancer. Lots of sensitivity, sweetness and nostalgia, however Mercury squares Saturn once again. Communications could be limited or take a serious tone, and diplomacy may be difficult with authority figures. On the other side of the equation, it’s a great day to find authenticity with people. Organize your time and practice those internal boundaries.

Saturday, November 7th: Moon VOC in Cancer. Day of rest after a crazy week. Get creative and connect with friends; use your imagination and be receptive to inspiration and visions. Venus trine Uranus will bring some excitement to art and romance. Watch for unconventional romance and push creative boundaries.

Week of October 26th: Halloween

“Death” tarot card by Salvador Dali

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 4 Scorpio
Mercury RETROGRADE at 2 Scorpio
Venus at 28 Virgo
Mars RETROGRADE at 16 Aries (Rulership)
Jupiter at 20 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn at 25 Capricorn (rulership)
Neptune RETROGRADE at 18 Pisces (rulership)
Pluto at 22 Capricorn
North Node at 22 Gemini

Crossroads. This is the week leading up to Halloween; a primal festival with ancient roots. You can feel it in your bones. It is the last harvest festival of the year, the witches new year, and the last night before the fairies go underground for the winter. The boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead is at it’s thinnest point for the next several weeks.

Halloween is one of the year’s four cross-quarter holidays, and marks the midway point between the autumnal equinox and the winter solstice. However, True Halloween occurs when the Sun reaches 15 degrees Scorpio, which is usually around November 7th. The Sun went into Scorpio last week, and we are officially in the season of death and rebirth.

Last week we released an old relationship pattern that no longer worked for us, and this week we begin a deep dive into exploring our passions, healing psychological wounds and uncovering hidden agendas. Sun in Scorpio represents honesty and passion, and wherever it appears in your chart is where you walk fearlessly through the shadows to find passion and treasure.

Monday, October 26th: Moon in Pisces. Sun and Moon in water signs makes this an emotional and spiritual start to the week. Take a break if you have to, so you can find your true feeling about a situation, and then express this honestly in your communications. Moon in Pisces allows for self forgiveness, abstract thoughts and creativity.

Tuesday, October 27th: Moon in Pisces, Mercury and Venus BOTH enter Libra! Yay! It’s rare for two planets to enter a sign at the same time – and from opposite ends. Mercury backs out of Scorpio and lands on the last degree of Libra, rehashing situations from the last week of September. Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) get some pleasant avenues opening up as Venus arrives at 0 Libra.

Wednesday, October 28th: Moon in Aries. Watch out for head strong behavior or taking on more than you can handle. The best use of this energy is handling situations that take courage and strength, and setting boundaries.

Thursday, October 29th: Moon in Aries conjuncts Mars and Black Moon Lilith. Tests might come up around your identity and who you are becoming. Best to go slow and stay present with yourself so you can respond properly in the moment. Each of us has a new way of being, and a new life, but with Mars still retrograde, it’s not the time to push forward yet.

Friday, October 30th: All Hallows Eve. Moon VOC, then entering Taurus at 2:19pm Pacific. We are in the realm of Halloween and the orb of the Full Moon. Any activity that awakens the five senses is highlighted. It’s a sensual full moon near Black Moon Lilith, so equality and respect are demanded. Very passionate night.

Saturday, October 31st: Halloween. Full (Blue) Moon at 8 Taurus at 7:49am Pacific. Love, beauty, passion, commitment, nature, animals, and the Divine Feminine are the energies to focus on this weekend. Try and avoid power struggles, control issues and obsession. Pushiness and bullying will get you nowhere. Listen to others, respect their wishes and look to the common good. Taurus wants us all to be healthy and secure, so trick or treating will be on hold this year.

Sunday, November 1st: Witches New Year. Sun in Scorpio/Moon in Taurus. The phoenix rises from the ashes. Day to take stock, rest, and decide where to focus your energies for the coming Winter.

Week of October 12th

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 20 Libra
Mercury STATIONING at 12 Scorpio
Venus at 10 Virgo
Mars RETROGRADE at 21 Aries (Rulership)
Jupiter at 18 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn at 25 Capricorn (rulership)
Neptune RETROGRADE at 18 Pisces (rulership, strong)
Pluto at 22 Capricorn
North Node at 23 Gemini

We’re in the dark of the Moon this week, so don’t do anything, just rest. The Moon is waning until Friday, October 16th, when we have a New Moon in Libra.

Libra is ruled by the planet Venus, which is currently in an uncomfortable transit through Virgo. Venus is in her “fall” in Virgo, meaning her energies are bottled up or limited in expression. This causes tension, over analysis and controlling behavior in relationships. Try and keep communications open and clear with partners (of all kinds) this week.

Currently, Mercury is at a dead stop in the sky, and will turn retrograde (go backwards) on Tuesday. This event adds deep reflection to the already quiet nature of the dark moon. Over the next three weeks, Mercury will retrace it’s steps and go over ground we’ve already covered, triggering a regeneration in our thinking as it travels the corridors of Scorpio.

Mars retrograde, over in Aries, is still leading us through the underworld until November 13th. Our energy is directed inward, and we look at ourselves rather than taking action on people or situations around us. We reassess our ambitions while Mars is retrograde, and revaluate our life path and direction. It is a time to think about our actions, and whether they are aligned with the life and world we want to create.

What kind of life do you want to have, and are your current actions in alignment with creating it? If not, perhaps it’s time to make some changes.

Are your goals in alignment with your true and highest self?

Your energy and drive are valuable; is it worth what you’re spending our time on?

Monday, October 12th: Moon VOC in Leo ALL DAY! Try not to make big decisions or have important conversations, just spend your energy on being wildly romantic or creative 🙂 Also spending time with children or animals is productive.

Tuesday, October 13th: Moon in Virgo. Mercury Retrograde at 6:05pm Pacific. Ground through nurturing your needs and organizing your home life. Good day for releasing, purging and breaking bad habits. With Mercury stationing, watch out for crazy drivers.

Wednesday, October14th: Moon in Virgo, going VOC at 3:47pm Pacific. Chatty. Good day for talking, sociability and online activities. Issues could arise around understanding, truth, and honesty, as well as challenges with business. Focus on the goal.

Thursday, October 15th: Moon in Libra, and we are in the orb of the New Moon tomorrow. Balance, partnerships, justice and peace. Whatever began in April will come to a major fruition in the next two weeks!

Friday, October 16th: New Moon in Libra at 12:31pm Pacific. Moon goes void of course at 3:30pm for the rest of the day. Plans could change, best to go with the flow. If you need to have meetings or work through agreements, do it in the morning. Remember to focus on balance and win-win resolutions. Excellent date night.

Saturday, October 17th: Moon in Scorpio, Do Magick! We enter through another portal on our way to Halloween and deep Fall. It is the time when the veil between the worlds is thin, and we can see spirits. Expect occult experiences and deep conversations with people. With Mars still retrograde, reflect on passions and think about what corner of your life needs action.

Week of October 5th

“Dark Goddess” — Photographer: Stig-Lennart Sørensen, Makeup/Model: Maria Landgaard

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 13 Virgo
Mercury at 7 Scorpio
Venus at 2 Virgo (debilitated, in her fall)
Mars RETROGRADE at 24 Aries (Rulership)
Jupiter at 18 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn at 25 Capricorn (rulership)
Neptune RETROGRADE at 18 Pisces (rulership, strong)
Pluto STATIONING DIRECT at 22 Capricorn
North Node at 23 Gemini

Pluto is standing still (stationing) and turned Direct today in the early morning. We are presented with revelations regarding our evolution this year… and there’s a lot of evolution happening. In typical Pluto fashion, the personal evolution we are each experiencing this year is tied to the deep changes in our society. The pandemic has shaken the foundation of the world, and our lives along with it. We have an opportunity this month to see how far we’ve come, and to judge where more work is necessary for our progress. Saturn and Pluto are moving veeerrrrry slowly as well: Saturn will be at 25 Capricorn until October 28th, and Pluto will be at 22 Capricorn until Nov 19, so if you have any planets in cardinal signs around those degrees, they are getting a wake up call.

Saturn is showing you what you’ll put up with and what you won’t – it presents your limits and boundaries – and shows you were to be disciplined and work hard.

Pluto is going to make you evolve, but it’s healing at the same time. It opens up your possibilities by transforming you in a natural way in agreement with your soul’s purpose.

Venus has entered Virgo, which is one of the most difficult placements for the planet. In Virgo she is in her “fall” or debilitated, and her energies are weakened. This effects women in general, and women might need extra support this month. One of the best ways to work with Venus in Virgo is to be of service to others, and tie up details and loose ends.

Then there is the issue of the President catching Covid the same week Saturn and Pluto turn Direct. The conjunction of Saturn and Pluto on January 12th spawned the Covid pandemic, and now as these planets are turning Direct, the president has caught Covid, and 31 states are surging with the virus. There is definitely karma involved here, as those are very karmic planets. One of the definitions of Saturn is “you shall reap what you sow”. This is especially true as Saturn and Pluto are both opposing Trump’s natal Saturn. And the week of Oct 12 when the sun will oppose Mars, Mercury retrograde begins, and the sun will square Pluto. Also Sunday Oct 18 when a T square occurs between the sun, Mars and Jupiter. Hang on, we have a wild two weeks ahead of us.

Are your actions and goals in alignment with your true and highest self?

Have your goals changed and do you want something different?

Monday, October 5th: Moon VOC in Taurus. Venus is Taurus’s ruler and she is currently debilitated. Avoid social complications and focus on work instead. Moon is trining (happy) with the planetary pile up in Capricorn, so you might get insights into working with the heavy energies at hand.

Tuesday, October 6th: Moon in Gemini. Chatty! Good socializing, networking and negotiation today.

Wednesday, October 7th: Moon in Gemini. Good day for talking, sociability and online activities. Mercury in opposition to Uranus around 2pm Pacific. This can bring sudden shifts, changes and insights. Listen to what the Universe is telling you today, and watch for signs and solutions to problems. For writers and other creative people this can be a time when flashes of genius brighten your creations, especially with the inspiring Jupiter Neptune sextile almost exact.

Thursday, October 8th: Moon in Cancer. People could be sensitive today, so allow for people’s feelings.

Friday, October 9th: Moon in Cancer. Lots of sensitivity, sweetness and nostalgia. Mars square Pluto. Look out cause this can cause fights and violence. Keep a low profile today. Arguments and drama will get you nowhere, so disconnect if someone wants to fight. Health breakdowns related to anxiety and frustration, the desire to dominate, to force a way without regard for anyone else, are among the negative qualities of this aspect. Don’t drive aggressively, and walk away from belligerence. Also, not a good time for risk taking as Pluto can have unexpectedly harsh consequences for those who heedlessly push forward.

Saturday, October 10th: Moon VOC in Cancer. Get creative and connect with friends; use your imagination and be receptive to inspiration and visions. Venus trine Uranus will bring some excitement to art and romance. Watch for unconventional romance and push creative boundaries.

Week of September 28th

Valentine Cameron Prinsep – At the First Touch of Winter, Summer Fades Away, 1897

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 6 Libra
Mercury at 1 Scorpio
Venus at 25 Leo
Mars RETROGRADE at 25 Aries (Rulership)
Jupiter DIRECT at 17 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn STATIONING at 25 Capricorn (rulership)
Neptune RETROGRADE at 19 Pisces (rulership, strong)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 22 Capricorn
North Node at 23 Gemini

Can you feel the weight of Saturn? It is the planet of reality, discipline, responsibility, karma, and time, and it is currently standing still in the skies over the East Coast of the United States. Saturn in Capricorn is stationing (standing still), and turned Direct on Monday (9/28). We will feel the weight of this all week. If you have any planets around 25 degrees in any cardinal sign, you will be STRONGLY effected by the energy of this event.

On top of that, Saturn (patriarchy) is in a tight square with an aggressive group of planets near 25 Aries – Eris (discord), Mars (courage and assertiveness) and Lilith (rebellion). Female empowerment is greatly enhanced from this configuration. This square will bring up issues around leadership and control, and could bring violence this week.

Far eastern beliefs and practices state that we are surrounded by impermanence; that the only thing that is truly ours is the beauty of the present moment. Everyone and everything we know will eventually turn into something else. This the way of the world and the archetype of the Fall season. Our planet, society and personal lives are in a state of huge transition, and the best we can do is approach our challenges with love. Appreciate the people around you and the blessings you have in your life.

Monday, September 28th: Moon in Pisces. Mercury also entered Scorpio yesterday, bringing great depth and honesty to communications. Our minds are refocused and our powers of concentration are heightened. Moon in Pisces trines Mercury today, allowing us to express abstract thoughts in a clear way. With Saturn stationing Direct tonight, practice mindfulness and discipline.

Tuesday, September 29th: Moon in Pisces, Saturn stations Direct in Capricorn. Any Earth sign folks should be feeling a new sense of security today, but any Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra) could get a reality check on their grand designs. With the Moon in Pisces, meditate and contemplate your life. Music and spirituality soothe the soul and ignite our imaginations. Great night to play or listen to music and make art.

Wednesday, September 30th: Moon VOC in Pisces. No big decisions or important conversations with authority. I would avoid that until next week if possible. Follow your intuition, go with the flow, and make time for solitude.

Thursday, October 1st: Full Moon in Aries. Watch for messages from the Universe about your identity, and your experience of evolutionary shifts. Each of us is changing and evolving into new, upgraded version. Each of us has a new way of being, and a new life. Focus your ambition and drive towards things you want to accomplish.

Friday, October 2nd: Moon In Aries, and Venus into Virgo. We are still feeling energetic, and good progress can be made now. Aries is the sign of individuality, so it’s all about YOU. Venus in Virgo is in it’s fall – which is one of the most difficult placements for the planet to express itself. Instead of art, put energy into organization.

Saturday, October 3rd: Moon in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn stationing. Evolution, research, reformation and healing are the energies to focus on this weekend. Venus and Pluto are in tense placement this weekend, which can bring difficulties in relationships. Try and avoid power struggles, control issues and obsession. Pushiness and bullying will get you nowhere. Listen to others, respect their wishes and look to the common good.

Sunday, October 4th: Moon in Taurus and Pluto Stationing Direct in Capricorn. The phoenix rises from the ashes. Eris, the planet of discord is in the sign of Aries, the Individual. She is in a tense square to her brother Pluto, the planet of extremes, in the sign of Capricorn, which symbolizes control and the patriarchy. Be careful if you’re out there protesting.

Week of September 7th

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 14 Virgo
Mercury at 1 Libra
Venus at 0 Leo
Mars at 28 Aries (Rulership)
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 17 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn RETROGRADE at 25 Capricorn (rulership)
Neptune at 19 Pisces (rulership, strong)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 22 Capricorn
North Node at 25 Gemini

We’re in the dark of the Moon this week, so don’t do anything, just rest. The Moon is waning until next Thursday, September 17th when we will have a New Moon in Virgo.

Divine Timing.

Currently, Mars is at a dead stop in the sky, and will turn retrograde (go backwards) on Wednesday. It will retrace it’s steps and go over ground we’ve already covered, retriggering the sensitive degrees which heralded Covid19. The earth shaking changes of 2020 were sparked by the rare and fateful conjunction between Saturn and Pluto on January 12th. Mars has been tensely squaring these planets for weeks, giving energy to the dynamic protest movements erupting around the world. Mars will now go back and wake it all up, continuing the intensity of this year.

On a personal level, Mars is taking us on a journey through the underworld until November 13th. This means our energy is directed inward, and we look at ourselves rather than taking action on people or situations around us. We reassess our ambitions while Mars is retrograde, and revaluate our life path and direction. It is a time to think about our actions, and whether they are aligned with the life and world we want to create.

What’s the truth right now… what are you DOING?

What kind of life do you want to have, and are your current actions in alignment with creating it?

Are your goals in alignment with your true and highest self?

Your energy and drive are valuable; is it worth what you’re spending our time on?

Have your goals changed and do you want something different?

The North Node in Gemini encourages us to connect online. It’s up to us to let go of our repressed sexuality and anger (Pluto), welcome inspiration (Jupiter), and restructure our reality (Saturn). Venus in Leo, the sign of the heart, asks us to fall in love with ourselves and the creativity we hold inside, and share it with the world.

Monday, September 7th: Moon in Taurus. Great day to get out in nature or work in a garden… except for all of the smoke of course 😦 Cook an opulent mean instead. Taurus Moon is good for focusing on health and working with animals.

Tuesday, September 8th: Moon VOC all day in Taurus. Ground through nurturing your needs and home life. Make art.

Wednesday, September 9th: Moon into Gemini. Chatty. Good day for talking, sociability and online activities. Mars goes retrograde at 3:22pm Pacific. Tensions could be high today, so don’t dig too deep. Issues around sex, anger, and ambition may arise, as well as challenges with men. Focus on the goal. Avoid aggressive people, as violence can happen easily with Mars stationary retrograde.

Thursday, September 10th: Moon in Gemini. Good communications today, but stay civil.

Friday, September 11th: Moon in Cancer. Lots of sensitivity, sweetness and nostalgia. Arguments and drama will get you nowhere, so disconnect if someone wants to fight. Avoid overindulgence, except with food. Good movie night.

Saturday, September 12th: Moon in Cancer, Jupiter DIRECT in Capricorn. Sagittarians will feel great today with their ruling planet going the right direction. For the rest of us it’s a mixed bag. The desire for drugs and alcohol can be strong. Bring some compassion into your day. Use your imagination today and be receptive to inspiration and visions.

Week of September 1st

Hasui Kawase, (1883-1957) Moon at Megome, 1930 (Woodblock print)

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 8 Virgo
Mercury at 18 Virgo
Venus at 22 Cancer (neutral)
Mars at 27 Aries (Rulership)
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 17 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn RETROGRADE at 26 Capricorn (rulership)
Neptune at 19 Pisces (rulership, strong)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 22 Capricorn
North Node at 25 Gemini

Full Moon in Pisces Tuesday evening, which is normally a spiritual and peaceful event, however, issues around leadership, control and violence will be evident this week. Eris, the planet of Discord is in the sign of Aries, the Individual. She is in a tense square to her brother Pluto, the planet of extremes, in the sign of Capricorn, which symbolizes control and the patriarchy. I would avoid honestly avoid protests this week and the foreseeable future.

Monday, August 31st: Moon in Aquarius. Believe in your genius and gifts. No one else in the world can express your unique energy, so it’s up to you. People are friendly, and progress can be made in communications. With an Aquarius Moon, video chat with your friends or community. If you encounter stubbornness, practice mindfulness.

Tuesday, September 1st: Full (HARVEST) Moon in Pisces at 10:22pm. Meditate and contemplate. Music and spirituality soothe the soul and ignite our imaginations. Great night to play or listen to music, or do your art!

Wednesday, September 2nd: Full Moon in Pisces continues. Follow your intuition, go with the flow, and make time for solitude. Also, Venus opposition to Saturn is exact in the morning. Venus (women, art creativity) comes up against the reality and discipline needed to be productive. Women might come up against resistance in the work place. You are being asked to be patient, but to also completely own who you are and who you’re growing in to! Venus going through oppositions with Saturn and Pluto this week illuminates the areas where you are evolving and setting boundaries. Watch for messages from the Universe!

Thursday, September 3rd: Moon in Aries. Use what you’ve learned from the Full Moon this week to start something new today! Focus your ambition and drive towards things you want to accomplish. Aries is the sign of individuality, so it’s all about YOU. Try and get yourself grounded before undertaking anything. Lots of energy for adventures, creativity, and new projects.

Friday, September 4th: Moon In Aries. We are still feeling energetic and good progress can be made in the morning. Venus square Mars today brings sexy tension to relationships! With Mars in Aries and Venus in Cancer, be sensitive to the other person’s feelings, and make sure there is good understanding between you before taking any action.

Saturday, September 5th: Moon in Aries and Mercury into Libra! Our mental focus changes from analysis and nervousness to balance and creativity. You will receive lots of wonderful artistic and creative ideas. Communications in relationships will get a positive boost. Focus on being balanced and fair in your dealings with others.

Sunday, September 6th: Moon in Taurus. The coziness of home. Nice evening to cook and be around loved ones. Venus enters Leo today too! All of us will feel the urge to shine, express our individuality and be more outgoing. Love and art become fiery and passionate, and women step into leadership. Make use of this month, Venus will be in Leo until October 2nd. For artists, let yourself loose to experiment and show whatever you discovered while Venus was in Cancer.

Week of August 10th

Hades or Pluto, God of the Underworld, Unknown artist

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 18 Leo
Mercury at 11 Cancer (weak)
Venus at 3 Cancer
Mars at 22 Aries (Rulership)
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 19 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn RETROGRADE at 27 Capricorn (rulership)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 23 Capricorn
Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong)
North Node at 26 Gemini

We’re in the dark of the Moon this week, so don’t do anything, just rest. The Moon is waning, or balsamic, until next Tuesday, August 18th when we will have a New Moon in Leo. There’s a lot roiling under the surface…

The current Sun in Leo is a wonderful time, since out brightest star has come home to his kingdom. We can let our hair down and be ourselves. The Sun symbolizes the soul and identity, and invites us to express ourselves. The background of Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter in Capricorn have changed how we do this. We can express ourselves, but we have to protect our fellow humans from the scourge of Covid19 at the same time. We need to wear masks and physically distance. The North Node in Gemini encourages us to connect online. It’s up to us to let go of our heavy worries (Pluto), welcome inspiration (Jupiter), and restructure our reality (Saturn). Leo, the sign of the heart, asks us to fall in love with ourselves and the creativity we hold inside, and share it with the world.

And then there’s all the stuff going in Aries which is INTENSE! We have Black Moon Lilith (wild feminine) joining forces with Eris (Goddess of Discord) – both hanging out with Mars (God of War). Yikes. These three are scary enough on their own, all sitting on their dark thrones at 22 Aries. They bring the absolute insistence to be ourselves, define our boundaries and fight if need be to make a point. Have you seen the violence in American cities over the past week? Stand offs and clashes between protestors and police, looters… and that horrible explosion in Beirut. These three are squaring (causing tension) with the three in Capricorn, causing the fall of old patriarchal structures, institutions, and governments (Saturn). Change is in the air.

This affects us personally too. We need to find our deep, repressed, toxic wounds and give them some air. Collectively, there is a new spotlight on the toxic wounds of slavery, racism, sexism and wealth disparity. It’s all coming up to be healed and shifted. We need to own all that we are, all that we’ve done, and all that we want to be; moving forward with justice and compassion for our fellow woman and man.

Mars square Pluto will be exact on Thursday, and will be continuing into October. This square can be violent and will turn the heat way up on simple disagreements. Be diplomatic and avoid risks. Seriously. The pandemic and rioting can increase the danger on the streets. Remember Pluto represents repressed sexuality, ambition, anger and masculinity. Lilith, Eris and Mars have the keys are letting this energy loose. Men in general, and Aries people, can get into a lot of trouble the second half of this year.

Monday, August 10th: Moon in Taurus. Authority can be stubborn today, so best to not rock the boat. However, if you want to bring stability to an issue, today is a good day to work on it.

Tuesday, August 11th: Moon in Taurus. Refocus on your needs and home life. Walk in nature, work in the garden and cook something scrumptious. Beware of overspending with online shopping.

Wednesday, August 12th: Moon into Gemini. Chatty day, good for talking, sociability and online activities. Tensions are rising though with tomorrow’s event, so don’t dig too deep.

Thursday, August 13th: Moon in Gemini. Mars, Lilith and Eris in EXACT square to Pluto. Stay in bed lol. Seriously though, lay low today and stay under the radar. This square could ignite big confrontations.

Friday, August 14th: Moon in Gemini, going into Cancer at 4:35pm Pacific. Probably the best day for reaching an understanding with others. Good movie night.

Saturday, August 15th: Moon in Cancer, Uranus RETROGRADE in Taurus. Get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Bring some compassion into your day.

Sunday, August 16th: Moon in Cancer continues… be kind to yourself and others. We are in the realm of the New Moon, so contemplate what you’d like to see happen in your life over the next month.

Week of June 8th

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 18 Gemini
Mercury at 11 Cancer (weak)
Venus RETROGRADE at 11 Gemini (neutral)
Mars at 17 Pisces (weak)
Jupiter RETROGRADE at 26 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn RETROGRADE at 1 Aquarius (rulership)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 24 Capricorn
Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong)
North Node at 29 Gemini

Last Thursday’s Full Moon ECLIPSE in Sagittarius will continue unfolding this week, AND over the next six months. We are rebirthing ourselves, our lives, and hopefully our society, into a world that supports and values everyone. On a personal level, YOU are unique, and you have a precious, singular contribution to make to the world. Just be careful out there folks, we’re still in a pandemic.

The Sun square Mars from last Saturday is still effecting us for a couple of weeks. Don’t over-focus on what other people are doing, instead put energy into YOUR goals. Controlling other people, or criticizing their reactions to the state of the world, is a waste of time. Respect the paths of other people, even if they doesn’t make sense to you. The Sun (Soul and vision) squaring Mars (action and drive) can make us restless and cranky with perceived road blocks. There’s steps each of us need to take in order to move forward right now – usually involving Saturn (discipline and hard work).

Mars is activating and energizing the sign of Pisces right now – the sign of our collective unconscious. Venus is going through her retrograde cycle, which is commonly seen as her descent through the underworld. She will be reborn soon as the Morning Star. Issues, both personal and collective, that have been repressed and denied are coming up for air now and demanding to be acknowledged.

Speaking of squares, there’s another major one happening all year: Pluto at 24 Capricorn square ERIS at 24 Aries. This aspect is rare, chaotic, and will be with us for the whole year! These two planets are the furthest away from the Sun in our solar system, and represent regeneration. Pluto brings evolution through the healing of repressed, toxic energy, and Eris brings change through discord, for the forgotten and oppressed sides of our culture. I hope things will settle down in our country, but I doubt it with this aspect in play. The best way to utilize these energies, is to make sure your side of the street is clean, and your life is organized. Have you been projecting your problems onto others? Do you owe anyone an apology?

Monday, June 8th: Moon void-of-course all day, then into Aquarius at 5:54pm Pacific. Follow routines and planned activities. Moon will be contacting Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn (the Covid point), so stay out of social complications and arguments with other people.

Tuesday, June 9th: Moon in Aquarius. Let the genius in you come out and play! People will be friendly but unemotional, so work towards forward progress. Look for positive developments in society today, since Aquarius is the sign of humanity.

Wednesday, June 10th: Moon void-of-course in Aquarius ALL DAY. Day of continuity from yesterday’s developments. A void Moon always means to lay low and follow well-laid plans. Stay away from risks or negotiation, instead stabilize what’s in progress.

Thursday, June 11th: Moon in Pisces. Creative and peaceful day. Listen to music. Sun (Soul and vision) square Neptune (dreams) is exact in the early morning. There’s some action we need to take to see the path ahead. Neptune aspects often bring fogginess and a feeling of being lost. Don’t be discouraged by this, just be creative and focus on self care.

Friday, June 12th: Moon in Pisces. Keep listening to music and focusing on creativity.

Saturday, June 13th: Moon void, then into Aries at 2:03pm Pacific. We will be full of energy and ambition today, however, Mars conjunct Neptune is exact which can confuse our efforts. Get yourself grounded and centered before undertaking anything. Bring some compassion into your day.

Week of May 11th

Sun in Gemini From Kitab al-Mawalid

CURRENTLY:
Sun at 20 Taurus
Mercury at 0 Gemini (rulership! Do Mercurial Magick now)
Venus at 21 Gemini (neutral)
Mars at 28 Aquarius (neutral)
Jupiter at 27 Capricorn (fall, very weak)
Saturn RETROGRADE at 1 Aquarius (rulership)
Pluto RETROGRADE at 24 Capricorn
Neptune at 20 Pisces (rulership, strong)
North Node at 29 Gemini

This week sees the change from the earthy sign of Taurus, to the airy sign of Gemini. Our focus changes from the Spring flowers, green hillsides and self sufficiency of Taurus, to the chattiness of the Gemini mind. Mercury is fast in the skies right now, and entering it’s natural home of Gemini (rulership) today!

Also, two of the key planets involved at the “Covid point” of 24 Capricorn are going retrograde or backwards this week. This is the corner of the sky where the Saturn-Pluto conjunction happened on January 12th that spawned the huge transformations taking place on the planet right now. We will spend the next several months going over ground we’ve already covered, so be prepared for that spiritual processing. I think we could have a resurgence of virus cases over the summer, so take care of yourself!

Monday, May 11th: Moon in Capricorn connecting with Pluto and Jupiter at 24 Capricorn (the Covid 19 point). When the Moon arrives there each month, our emotions can come up strongly in the form of great fear and sadness. We open up and process how these changes are effecting our lives. Nurture yourself today and ride the waves of feelings. Positive change can be yours if you put in the hard work. Mercury into Gemini.

Tuesday, May 12: Moon in Aquarius. Mercury trines Moon AND Saturn today = serious and productive conversations. Also, Venus retrograde in Gemini near midnight. Venus will be twirling around in Gemini – backwards and then forwards – until August 7th. Look back to 2012 to see how this could effect you, your relationships and your money. Gemini is cerebral, so it will be a chatty summer, especially over the internet. Issues around partnerships of all kinds could arise, both positive and negative.

Wednesday, May 13th: Moon in Aquarius. Mars entered Pisces in the middle of the night, which adds to the confusion. We need to connect with our spiritual side and be a channel for Divine Will. What do you need to surrender to? What will you sacrifice to reach your highest goals?

Thursday, May 14th: Moon void-of-course all day, then entering Pisces conjuncting Mars in Pisces. Take a deep dive into your Soul. What do you need to do differently in order to connect with your true purpose? What is your evolutionary intention? Also Jupiter retrograde in Capricorn today.

Friday, May 15th: Moon in Pisces. Today is a respite from all of the crazy changes! Take time to enjoy life and focus on your blessings.

Saturday, May 16th – Moon in Aries. Black Moon Lilith conjunct Chiron in Aries, and squaring the “Covid point”. We want our power back from this loss of control we’re all feeling. The only way to really do this, is to withdraw and get quiet – meditate and contemplate your Soul’s desire for this lifetime.

Sunday, May 17th – Moon in Aries squaring 24 Pluto (Covid point). Pluto presides over this year, bringing endings, death, deep transformation and catharsis. With Aries (the Self) involved, we ask ourselves “who am I now? Who am I without the job? The money I’m used to? My relationship? Without the future I had planned??” The answers will come, and will lead each of us to a more deeply satisfying life. I really mean that! The first step is practicing mindfulness, and learning how to listen to your inner voice.
