Today! Monday, May 12th we have a Full Moon in Libra. Romance is in the air. We can have positive conversations and work out agreements with people. This Moon focuses on relationships and reflects the culmination of what’s been building up this Spring.
The Sun in Aries symbolizes the “self” and individuality, and it’s opposite, Libra, represents balance, fairness, relationships, equality and justice. A Full Moon at the end of Leo often represents a life full of happiness and joy. Leo, ruled by the Sun, follows his heart and connects with creativity. It’s a joyous time, and the perfect night to see electrifying musical or artistic performances. However this Full Moon is exactly opposite Saturn, which means we also need to be hard-working and sincere with our work. Saturn maintains a strict discipline, including cleanliness and neatness. You will never find clutter on his table.
Some ancient peoples say that being outside with an eclipse is not a good thing. This is because Ketu – symbolizing the past – will be moving across the Moon. It’s the shadowy tail of the cosmic dragon, and it brings up past uncertainties, the unseen, and ancient karmas. If we are ready, it gives us the power to face our past and make fundamental changes, releasing the dead weight of grievances and empty attachments. This eclipse is a portal, showing us how to release regret and heartbreak.
Tonight, this eclipse falls in a section of the Vedic sky called “Uttara Phalguni”. It’s symbolized by a bed, and represents relaxation, comfort, and rejuvenation. Mindfully use this eclipse to remove blocks to prosperity, friendship and noble virtue.

Venus went retrograde last weekend. We are slowing down and looking backwards to old relationship patterns over the next month. Her retrograde cycle is actually an ancient process of transformation. Venus sinks in the evening sky, disappears in the Sun, then rises as the morning star a few week later. She comes down to earth to re-evaluate things. The Venus retrograde cycle comes once every 18 months, and manifests a powerful cycle of death and rebirth. We shed old ideals and think about what works for us in the present. We confront hard truths about love, money, and creativity. When Venus rises as the Morning Star on April 12th, a new clarity regarding commitment and self-worth will also rise.

The Sun moves through the last degrees of Cancer this week, and we wrap up our deep emotional reflections from the past month. It’s the 4th quarter of the Moon, the “darkest” time of the lunar month. We rest and wrap things up in preparation for the rebirth of the New Moon in Leo next Thursday, July 28th. If you go out at sunset this week, you will see the moon’s light diminish until she completely disappears into the fires of the Sun. Don’t over schedule yourself or work too hard. Full Moon at 28 Libra this Saturday at 11:55am Pacific! This Moon brings issues around balance and relationships. Libra is the Scales and represents how we relate to other people, especially in our romantic relationships. This is a beautiful Full Moon, because Libra’s ruler, Venus, is currently in her best sign – Pisces. We are surrounded by love, art, beauty, friendship, negotiation, and win-win situations.
The big news this week is the conjunction between Jupiter and Neptune at 24 degrees Pisces. This happens once every 12 years, but RARELY in the sign of Pisces. It will have a huge positive impact on all of us since Jupiter and Neptune are the rulers of Pisces and fully express their energies here. This conjunction is going on all week, and will enhance intuition, prosperity, creativity, inspiration, music, and good luck! Jupiter is faith, expansion, and opportunity, and combined with the unlimited potential of Neptune, can uplift us and give us an escape from the terrible realities happening in the news.

Full Moon at 28 Virgo, this Thursday after midnight. This Moon brings organization and assimilation. I view Virgo as the sign of the High Priestess, inspiring us to own our power, and live in our authenticity. With Virgo we get REAL and accept what life has given us. The problem though, is Virgo’s ruler Mercury is currently wallowing in Pisces. He’s unable to express himself there, and his quickness gets watered down with dreams and intuition. The Full Moon in Cancer is usually a sweet, gentle event, but today’s Full Moon is opposite Pluto and the Sun. This could be a tough week. Pluto is the planet of catharsis, evolution, death, and regeneration. Look for emotional resolutions this week. When the Sun and Pluto are conjunct, it’s the end of a major phase of growth and the start of another. This Full Moon will also square the Nodes of Fate. This asks each of us to come to terms with the past and make profound choices about how to move forward. It isn’t easy this week. Each of us is going through a hard test. Feed what you want to grow in your life, focus on that.
Mercury is now retrograde at 10° Aquarius – and conjunct Saturn at the same time. Communications are serious. Expect secrets to be revealed, and the truth to be spoken. Last Friday night we started a brand new path in our lives. We had a New Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius, bringing up issues of expansion, inner truth, wisdom, justice, adventure and luck. This eclipse will continue to unfold this week. It sets the tone for this whole month’s lunar cycle. Look to where you want to rebirth yourself, and put all of your focus there.
This week, Mercury is hiding behind the Sun, as they continue their travels through Sagittarius. This can bring extremes to our thinking – either we think too much and over analyze, or we don’t think at all. Try to find a happy medium. The big aspect this week is Venus conjuncting Pluto at 24 degrees Capricorn. If you have any planets at 24 Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn, they will be exponentionally activated this week. This conjunction inspires deep evolution in our relationships, romances, and artistic endeavors, AND it will be continuing until MARCH!! Could bring obsessiveness, catharsis, transformation and healing.

When we bring them into alignment, we turn a corner. This is a revolutionary day, and there could many changes and developments. Slow down and take everything one step at a time, and step carefully around people’s egos. Also, Aquarius means to let your creative genius out to play, and to connect with friends and groups of folks.
Thursday, December 9th: Moon in Pisces makes a lovely conjunction with Jupiter in the middle of the night. Pisces means “go with the flow”. Today is good for listening to lots of music, taking a boat ride, and using your senses. There’s also a Moon square Mars in the early morning which can bring underlying tensions to the surface. With the Mercury hidden in the fires of the Sun, it can be difficult to talk your way through issues. Use your intuition.
Friday, December 10th: Moon in Pisces enters her 2nd quarter. If an issue comes up, go with your gut instincts. We are transforming… we are BECOMING.We saw some HUGE shifts last week with the New Moon in Scorpio opposing Uranus in Taurus and squaring Saturn in Aquarius. That’s an amazing configuration, and it sets the tone for this whole month’s lunar cycle. It brings a situation into our lives that’s painful. We have to face it; just know it’s important, and it will lead to a major rebirth. On top of that, Venus has moved from the fires of Sagittarius to the sullen, hard energy of Capricorn. She’s not too happy there, so be gentle with women friends for the next few weeks. Mercury has moved from airy Libra to the intensity of Scorpio. Our consciousness is following the path of the Sun through Scorpio this month. This is a complex sign. Scorpio is the sign of death, and forces beyond our control. It’s synonymous with the 8th House, which represents healing, alchemical transformation, secrets, other people, taxes, credit, banks, sex, and the occult. Scorpio wants to join deeply with what it relates to, in order to become more powerful. Scorpio is the sign of power. Merging together and uniting our resources is the way to achieve power, and we are transformed through this merging.
Monday, November 8th: Moon in Capricorn trines Uranus in Taurus early in the afternoon. Moon is in her detriment here, so this could be a cold, pessimistic, hard way to start the week. Authority figures rule the day, so don’t seek concessions or try and negotiate anything. Mercury in Scorpio makes negotiations difficult anyway for the next few weeks. This placement can raise resentments and secrets from under the surface, and people can be power hungry. Avoid social complications and focus on the goal.
Tuesday, November 9th: Moon is void-of-course in Capricorn all day, entering Aquarius at 7:03pm Pacific. Do things today that help you feel grounded. Moon conjuncts Pluto in the morning, adding to potential power struggles. Ground yourself through working hard, especially on things you’ve been avoiding. Issues could arise around control, truth, and ambitions, as well as challenges with business. Lots of electricity and wild ideas in the air.
Wednesday, November 10th: Moon in Aquarius makes a bunch of squares today, but there’s a few other HUGE aspects. This is a revolutionary day, and there could many changes and developments. Mercury and Mars are conjunct in Scorpio, which means our minds and actions are united, and we feel efficient today. Then the duo make an exact square with Saturn in Aquarius, which can test our resolve. Mars square Saturn in particular can bring up a lot of tensions. Slow down and take everything one step at a time, and step carefully around people’s egos.
Thursday, November 11th: Moon void-of-course in Aquarius at 11:52am, and stays void for the rest of the day! Follow already laid plans and avoid risks. If you can, focus on what your mind tells you rather than your heart. Embrace reality. Also, let your creative genius out to play today. Good for connecting with friends and groups of folks.
Friday, November 12th: Moon in Pisces, so go with the flow. Sun in Scorpio makes a fabulous trine to Neptune in Pisces in the morning. Just an excellent day, full of good feeling, emotional warmth and imagination. Excellent day to read philosophy, or spend your energy on being wildly romantic or creative. Swim around with your intuitions and ideas.
Saturday, November 13th: Moon in Pisces makes some lovely, friendly aspects today. The watery, musical, loving vibe is enhanced by the Moon’s conjunction with Neptune in the early afternoon. Excellent day for creativity and romance. Use your imagination and instincts. Mercury in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus.
Sunday, November 14th: Moon in Aries gives us a fresh energy and perspective. No real aspects today, just do something fun.

On Saturday, March 20, the Sun entered Aries and we had the Spring Equinox (equal day equal night). With the Sun freshly in Aries, we begin a brand new astrological year! 2020 is officially over, and we have a new start in life. This week, the Moon is in her 2nd quarter, and we are building to a Full Moon on Sunday, March 28th. This Moon represents the culmination of what’s been building up in March.
The Full Moon in Libra is symbolized by The Scales, and usually appears around the Spring Equinox. The Sun in Aries symbolizes the “self” and individuality, and it’s opposite, Libra, represents balance, fairness, relationships, equality and justice. Libra is the sign where we have to deal with Other People, so all of our relationships and partnerships will be highlighted this week. We will all be hammering out new, balanced agreements in our partnerships.
The Sun will be in a conjunction with Venus and Chiron on this Full Moon too, healing our deepest wound. The Sun wants to advance, so with Venus and Chiron involved, we shine brighter as we undertake our soul’s purpose. Self love can be understood on a new level. Also, Mars will conjunct the North Node, giving new fuel to our future direction and plans. The Sun and Venus will move through the sky together in Aries for the next two weeks.
Venus just entered Aries on Sunday. She’s only there once every 18 months, so Aries people will have lovely, harmonious and sociable birthdays this year. Since Venus rules Taurus and Libra, these signs are starting a new cycle though the zodiac. Anyone born in those signs will experience an even stronger rebirth then the rest of us.
Also on Sunday, Mars trine Saturn was exact. Anything requiring discipline, physicality or structure can get a huge boost from this aspect. Go to the gym and start regular exercise this week. Tuesday, March 23rd: Moon void-of-course in Cancer most of the day, and enters Leo at 2:56pm Pacific. Step carefully around people’s feelings. The Moon between Cancer and Leo is a VERY sensitive place, and if someone’s feelings get hurt they can hold a grudge for a long time. Cancer is the sign of the home, so it’s good day to relax, declutter, and cook a special meal. People will be sensitive, so no big conversations until tomorrow.
Wednesday, March 24th: Moon in Leo. Stand out and be seen! Seek concessions from authority. We are also under the influence of Mars in exact square to Mercury, so be careful of aggresiveness and thoughtlessness in your communications. Think things through CAREFULLY before speaking your truth.
Thursday, March 25th: Moon void-of-course in Leo ALL DAY! Let your creative side out to play. The Sun and Venus conjunct in the middle of the night, bringing positive feelings and expansiveness to beauty, romance and art.
Friday, March 26th: Moon in Virgo and Sun conjunct Venus. Things will be fuzzy and undefined thanks to Mercury (Virgo’s ruler) floundering through his detriment in Pisces. Use your intuition instead. Great evening for a walk under the Full Moon with someone you love… or someone you want to get to know.
Saturday, March 27th: Moon void-of-course in Virgo at 4:48pm Pacific, and stays void all evening. Avoid pettiness, pickiness and over analysis. We are in the orb of the Full Moon so things could start getting intense or extreme, Meditation is a great way to focus the mind and manage any anxiety around this moon. Clean and reorganize your house!
Sunday, March 28th: Full Moon in Libra at 11:48am Pacific. Romance is in the air. We can have positive conversations and work out agreements with people. The focus is on playing fair and taking everyone’s feelings into account. Work towards win-win situations. Also Sunday, Venus conjunct Chiron is exact, which can spark a crisis that brings enormous healing. If something comes up try and focus on the brighter possibilities of what could emerge down the road.
