Taurus and Taurus Rising — Retreat, rest, recuperation, surrender, endings. The new moon will activate a need to withdraw, let go, and find answers within. 10:20am Pacific today. Focus on the DETAILS of EVERYTHING. Give your OCD full expression – today is perfect for it. Feel free to analyze everything  (but leave the obsession out of it). The Sun/Neptune in Pisces are on one side of the sky, opposing a beautiful Full Virgo Moon on the other. Make your dreams real. Pisces dreams and has a technicolor imagination, while Virgo is practical as heck and can make a PLAN to accomplish your vision. Set some goals today and make a plan to manifest them. Virgo isn’t afraid to do the WORK and research necessary to achieve a goal.

If you are caught in an unstable situation today it will become glaringly obvious. That’s what Full Moons do, they bring things to extremes. If a relationship, job or situation is unsustainable, you will see the damaged underpinnings today. Don’t be afraid to take action and again, CREATE a PLAN. Have those difficult conversations. Also a great day to begin a new health plan, particularly around exercising and losing weight as the Moon will be shrinking for the next two weeks, and you can shrink along with it 🙂

New moon was exact this morning at 6:39 am Pacific at 19 degrees Aquarius.

Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, is in good aspect to this new moon, inspiring us with new ideas and energy. Very creative day where we push boundaries and walk on the wild side.

Mars in Scorpio (squaring the New Moon) is pushing us to take action too. Lilith in the mix too helps us access our instincts.

Be revolutionary.

Moon is full in Leo at 5:46pm Pacific. Explore your creativity this weekend and let yourself stand out. Have fun and play with some unstructured time. This enhances your imagination which is oh so important.

Retrograde Mercury crossed Pluto in Capricorn yesterday, and we are feeling the influence of this aspect. Sure we want to be playful like Leo the Lion, but we want to create a reality for ourselves thats in line with our DNA.

Our ideas about our lives are becoming serious and grounded.  Pluto is evolution, Mercury is expression and Capricorn climbs a path that angels fear to tread. We will not give up on expressing our deepest nature – and if necessary we will restructure our lives so we can be free. We destroy that which no longer serves us so we can rebirth ourselves. That’s a big part of Pluto’s influence.

Oddly enough this full Moon falls at the same degree as Bowie’s natal Moon at at 3° Leo, and the Sun today sits directly on his Aquarian ascendent at 3° Aquarius! Whoa. The consummate performer, wildly creative and revolutionary.

“Five planets paraded across the dawn sky early Wednesday in a rare celestial spectacle set to repeat every morning until late next month.

Headlining the planetary performance are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. It is the first time in more than a decade that the fab five are simultaneously visible to the naked eye, according to Jason Kendall, who is on the board of the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York.

Admission to the daily show is free, though stargazers in the Northern Hemisphere should plan to get up about 45 minutes before sunrise to catch it. City dwellers can stay in their neighborhoods to watch, as long as they point their attention to the east, according to Mr. Kendall.

“For Mercury you will need binoculars,” he said. “It will not jump out at you, but everybody should be able to see Venus and Jupiter.”

Whatever you start this weekend will have a solid foundation. It will be a solid decision that will be difficult to reverse, so choose carefully. There’s nothing as sturdy, stable and nimble as Capricorn! Today we have the Sun and Moon joining up with Pluto in Capricorn, and about to cross paths with Retrograde Mercury.

We’re looking at the foundations of our lives to see if they can be relied on. If they can’t, we need to restructure things until we’re living in a dependable situation. It’s as simple as that. This is the first step towards creating the life we want in 2016.

Between now and February 2nd (Candlemas), we are in a phase of research and planning, and it starts today. Wherever the Sun, Moon, Pluto conjunction falls in your chart is the area that’s up for rebuilding. Mars entered Scorpio today at 6:32am Pacific. Mars at 0 degrees Scorpio is a rocket launch! It’s the beginning of an exciting, energetic year. Mars is burrowing through  13 degrees Scorpio to 8 degrees Sagittarius for the majority of 2016. This part of your chart will be blasted with assertive, energizing fire-energy, so be prepared!
