The Water Bearer pours independence and revolution into the waters of humanity, and stirs things up. Aquarius taps into otherworldly information and brings it down to the Earth planes. Creativity is enhanced and the non-conformist awakens in each of us. This is the sign of Astrology, Science, Genius and Sudden Occurrences. There will be a lightning flash of revelation wherever the Water Bearer sits in your chart.

We’ve just finished up the Sun’s yearly transit in Capricorn – which is symbolized by the mountain goat’s climb up the mountain of wealth and prestige. With Aquarius, our inclinations turn toward each other and our communities. We are in the middle of Winter, and in ancient times we needed each other to survive until Spring. How can we enhance the lives of people living in Capricorn’s structures? What sort of reforms need to be created so that all people experience the full expression of their individuality and nature? How do we link the individual with the group?

Today, we forge our own path and do things OUR way, even if it goes against the grain of what society expects of us. Aquarius creates it’s own rules while seeking to support the greater good. It’s a very powerful sign. It’s an energy we can all activate in our individual worlds because after all, each of us is made of stardust.

Venus squares Saturn this morning, asking us to get serious about love and money. People can become guarded or melancholy, so it’s not the best time for deep conversations. Focus instead on doing chores and tackling things you’ve been putting off that NEED to be done! Especially cleaning the house, since chinese New Year is coming up on Sunday.

Mars is in it’s “dignity” in Aries – the sign it rules! What does this mean? A fresh vibe of energy, courage, guts and drive to accomplish whatever you want to do! This weekend is a great time to start new projects or habits. On the world stage we could see more sword rattling and environmental mayhem unfortunately. Soak in this new, energetic rush, but be careful about head strong behavior. Try not to be impulsive. No drunk dialing.
