Venus – Jupiter conjunction today

If you look up into the West at twilight tonight, you will see Venus and Jupiter conjoined at 0° Cancer, in the nakshatra Punarvasu. The essence of this nakshatra is “return of the light”. When Jupiter (Guru) and Venus (Shukra) align here, it triggers a “restoration” of values, often through a conflict between material desire and spiritual duty.

Things that were lost, abandoned, or suppressed often come back to the surface to be restored in an updated way. During this transit, there is movement away from “temporary solutions” toward “permanent structures.” If you are building, writing, or creating, this is when you stop experimenting and start laying the foundation for something that will last.

You will notice a recurring theme where you have to sacrifice a minor personal pleasure for a major, long-term authoritative gain. Choose short-term gratification over long-term stature takes one down the wrong path. This alignment is a celestial “Reset.” It is not for the sake of destruction, but for the sake of refinement. What is being triggered now is the final polish on work that you have been carrying for the last two to three years.

Do not look for ways to “heal” yourself or your past. That implies you are broken and need to be fixed. Instead, seek ‘jaagrat’, or “waking consciousness”. ” Those who understand and believe the yogic philosophy know that the gross world is simply an illusion. Some, therefore, describe jagrat consciousness as just a long dream. Once yogis have realized this, they no long experience the pain of attachment to objects in the material world”.

The energy of this transit is about waking up to your inherent capacity. Every action you take—whether writing, coding, or teaching—must be a step toward ‘jaagrat’. Ask yourself: “Does this action increase my awareness, or does it merely provide comfort?” If it is just comfort, ignore it.

Stop searching for the light outside. The light is already in the path you have already walked. You just need to go back and polish what you left behind.
