Magick is the Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will.

Science refers to the faculty of intellect to examine, test, label and arrange information in a consistent and therefore reliable manner. Art refers to the faculty of emotion to experience, experiment, express and be exalted by the information in an ever-changing and therefore unpredictable manner.

However, it is only unpredictable to the consciousness, and it is the consciousness which deals in things we call Science and Art. The unconscious—that is what Sees All. Consider that what differentiates man from other entities and animals is the function of his Ruach; i.e. the ability to use a symbol to convey a meaning not inherent within it.
